Wonderful and unique location for a wedding. We will be having both our ceremony and reception there. The City Arts Factory consists of 2 stories, the downstairs containing art galleries and studios (including a glass blowing studio that will do demonstrations during your cocktail hour) and an upstairs loft. The loft is a beautiful warm space with hardwood floors and brick walls covered with art work. There is also a full bar set-up and bar tables in the back corner. The loft is set up as a theatre space as well, so there are dressing rooms for changing and full visual and audio equipment.
Besides the wonderful facility, the staff is amazingly helpful and nice. The price of $2500 includes full use of the facility (upstairs and downstairs) for an 8 hours period. This price also includes use of tables and chairs.
I love our venue it was so us, different, fun, modern, and unique. Even the older guest loved the venue. If you’re having your wedding here I would suggest you provide sitting on the 1st floor during the cocktail hour. If you want music during cocktail hour make sure your DJ knows because their equipment will be set up on the 2nd floor for the reception. If your ceremony will be in a different venue I would suggest you provide the guest with directions to CAF and let them know where to park. Some of our guest got lost. CAF is new to many people and does not look like a wedding venue from the outside. Also if your going to have a photo booth I would suggest not having it in the area in front of the stairs. I wanted it to be used mostly during the cocktail hour but many guest did not see it until they had to go upstairs for the reception. It’s a great venue and I would totally recommend it.
