City Club was the ideal "all-inclusive" downtown Fort Worth venue for us. Great location, view and facility all in one! Angie, the main wedding coordinator was such a pleasure to work with. She made everything simplified and efficient and was always very prompt and informative everytime I had a question or request, which was very important to me. She was also super sweet and friendly! The Ballroom is so beautiful and really makes a lasting impression so very little decoration is needed to make the reception feel like a special occasion. The food was delicious and the tasting that is included for two people was more like a buffet than a tasting. They take care of all the details which is a huge help to brides that didn't hire a professional wedding planner. The only reason I gave 4 and half stars for value is because the final price does add up quickly for certain things. Chivari chairs for the ceremony are extra, boxed lunches for vendors were $18 per box, children's plates were $10, $200 cake cutting fee and so on. I do realize that most wedding venues have these fees and must make money as well but those were just a few things that I thought were pretty overpriced. However the personalized service, professionalism and efficiency of the venue and staff were worth it! I would recommend City Club to anyone that wants get married in downtown Fort Worth.
Working with Angie, Estela and Dora was great for my daughter's wedding. They were very helpful and responsive. They anticipaed our needs before we did. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. They are AWESOME!!!!!!
There is no place in DFW like the City Club and there is definitely no better team to work with. Anytime we contacted Angie she was prepared to help us with anything that we needed. I constantly was telling my family that when I spoke to Angie she made me feel as if I were the only client she had at the time. Angie was so attentive and organized. All of our guest raved about the beautiful ballroom, food and how attentive the staff was. We were thrilled with all of our vendors but the City Club was exceptionally amazing!
Angie and her team are AWESOME! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined at the City Club Ft. Worth. Angie is very helpful and will do whatever it takes to make your vision happen on your special day. Estella is the BEST Day of Coordinator out there; she handled everything with ease, and kept the event smooth all day. The food is absolutely Amazing!! Our guests are still raving at how wonderful everything was, and we've heard countless times that our wedding has been the classiest affair they've attended in years. My husband and I are very satisfied with how everything turned out. We just wish that we could do it all over again. If you're looking to have your wedding and/or reception in Ft. Worth, it doesn't get better than City Club!
My husband and I had the most incredible experience with The City Club of Fort Worth! We started planning our wedding from overseas, and Angie was so helpful every step of the way! She was great in helping us plan our menu and working with our budget! Every aspect of planning our wedding reception, up until the moment we departed our reception, was made perfect and easy by The City Club team! Not to mention the venue is absolutely stunning and the food was fantastic! We got such great feedback from everyone who attended! Thank you City Club, for making our wedding fun, memorable and easy on us!! :)

We had both our ceremony and reception at the City Club. Throughout the planning process their staff was amazing. The catering manager, Angie, was so helpful and responsive with any questions we had. She made the whole process so easy. The food and service were top notch, and our friends and guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the night. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and went so smoothly, thanks in large part to the amazing staff at City Club. It is a fabulous place for an event!

Our daughters wedding reception was held at City Club. I cannot begin to shout out enough praise from the beginning to the end! Every experience from the booking to the tasting to the end of the reception was PERFECT! Great communication all the way and everything was executed perfectly! Angie Moors is an angel to work with. Also the food was amazing!!! All of our guests poured out compliments for weeks after the wedding! I highly recommend this venue. You will not be disappointed unless you choose to go somewhere else! It was a Fairytale evening thanks to the City Club staff! We love you!

We all know the venue is, by far, what sets the precedent of any wedding. The venue is what sets the mood and personality of the wedding. Aside from City Club Fort Worth being absolutely fabulous - I think highly of Angie Moors. Her attentiveness is everything a bride needs. She listens well, provides great attention to detail and goes above and beyond on the wedding day.

City Club was a great venue and we are so thankful for all they did with us while planning our wedding! The entire staff at City Club catered to every need and really made our guests feel at home. The food was great and the variety of options to choose from is great!
Daughter's wedding was beyond all her expectations & dreams--thanks to City Club & all her fabulous vendors. Angie went above & beyond to find resources for anything we wanted and always responded within 24 hours. Every last detail (including the food!) was perfect & Angie was present during major part of the evening although we also had a fabulous wedding planner & florist in Tami Winn. What can be more perfect than to have a daughter say her wedding was beyond her dreams!
We had our ceremony and reception at the Fort Worth City Club in January 2012. We decided this after researching and visiting multiple venues. They were very organized and attentive to detail, which eased the somewhat stressful process of planning a wedding. Angie Moors is their new Catering and Sales Manager and she was great to work with. You can tell she has an extensive amount of knowledge in wedding planning and we were appreciative for her ideas and her ability to ensure everything came together. Most importantly, she seemed to genuinely care about every detail.
Some things we liked about them: they have 2 events each year where they bring in their preferred vendors and give you a free sampling of their services, as well as sample the City Club’s catering menu etc. We would highly recommend going. They also offer a private tasting of your choice of menu items to help narrow down your choices. One of the best perks is that they assign you a day of wedding planner to help on your wedding day. Ours was great in that we really had nothing to worry about during the event. She worked very well with our DJ to make sure that everything went as planned. Their staff was very attentive throughout the evening and made sure everything was perfect. Even though we happened to be getting married on Angie’s birthday she stopped by to ensure that everything was going as planned and that we and our guests were having a great time. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Angie and how helpful and professional she was to work with. She truly went the extra mile for every request we had. The evening went by flawlessly and all of our guests told us that everything was perfect!
We worked with Angie at the City Club and could not have asked for a better experience when planning our reception. She was organized, very quick to respond, helpful when we asked for suggestions, and very easy to work with. Once Angie came on board, I had no worries that things would go smoothly, as I knew everything was squared away. The venue looked beautiful and Estella was also great as the day of coordinator. We received compliments on the food and were very pleased with our experience. We have no regrets on our decision to use the City Club and I would recommend them in the future.
Angie is so wonderful to work with. She made all our dreams come true. The Grand Ballroom is a beautiful venue for an elegant wedding with an intimate setting for friends and family.
Wow what a BIG mistake to have my sisters wedding here! First off the food was just plain out terrible, the salad was nothing to wow about. EVERYONE's filet mignon was over cooked and tasted like roast beef, same with the chicken. I guess they let them sit to long in the hot boxes or something, everyone had to saw through it like it was a shoe. The mashed potatoes had formed a crust on them from sitting in the hot box so long. The grilled veggies were good though. The food was nothing like what we tasted for the food testing. They ran out of horderves before the back tables could even get any. They would walk up to the end tables with only 1 horderve left on it making people feel uncomfortable to grab it. They also ran out of Champagne before everyone could get a glass LOL!!! Also if you decide to go for an open bar make sure you don't set your drink down for more than a couple of mins. As soon as I would set my whiskey and coke on my table or where ever I was, a server would pick that drink up and throw it away. This is how they make their money on open bars this way, people finally had to stop and complain to the servers about this. My sister even called the next day to complain about it and the General Manager simply hung up on her. What does she care? She already has our money right? PLEASE don't hold no event here, this could happen to you.
City Club is the very BEST place to have a wedding! We had our ceremony and wedding reception at City Club and we couldn't be happier about the quality of service and the food. The staff were so professional and handled every single detail with polish and kindness. They all knew I was stressed and Angie, the Wedding Coordinator, kept me calm and relaxed. She was amazingly organized and never missed a beat. The food was unbelievably good! We had a plated dinner and it was as if we were in a fine dining restaurant. It came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious. When it came time to leave, the staff took everything to our car for us and my family did not have to worry about anything as we all left the club. We were truly pampered by City Club and it came as part of the package price! Just incredible! I highly recommend City Club!
I hosted a Bridesmaid Luncheon for my niece at City Club Fort Worth. This is the second such event I have had there, and the second one was as perfect as the first. Angie Moors is amazing and took care of all requests, questions and details prior to the event. The room was beautiful with a lovely view of the city, the food was delicious, and the servide was superb. All the guests loved it and I heard nothing but positive comments and feedback. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and it will be my first choice should I have luncheon or catering needs arise in the future. You can't go wrong choosing City Club Fort Worth and you won't be sorry if you do!
Amy & the City Club team were just amazing! The whole team went out of their way to help us with everything and make sure the day was perfect...and it was! The City Club Ballroom is so beautiful & elegant, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly/ accomodating. Ryan & I were so happy with everything and with the way we were treated...it was truly our day! Thank you to Amy & City Club team for making our day just as we had imagined it!
Heather did an amazing job with our wedding. She was always on top of everything and the wedding reception went off with out any problems. The City Club is definitely an amazing location and setting for a picture perfect wedding reception. The staff was very polite and efficient. All of our guests had nothing but praise the City Club and their team.
The City Club was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception. The list of preferred vendors they have was a life saver and they are without a doubt the best in the business. Heather Puckett is AMAZING...the best Wedding Coordinator a bride could ask for! She took care of every detail and made me feel as if our wedding was the only event on her very busy calendar. I have nothing but great things to say about Heather and her work at the City Club!
Amy Shackelford and her team at City Club went over and beyond to meet all my expectations for the wedding of my dreams. From the exquisite food to service and all the hospitality they had to offer, I couldn't recommend anyone better. It was truly the most magnificent and magical weekend of my whole life! I will always cherish all the amazing details and memorable moments they provided my husband and I in the celebration of our marriage. What an incredible company!!!
The City Club took care of EVERYTHING for me! They handle all the catering at the venue, and the food was fantastic! Heather was our planner there, and she made me feel at ease and made sure everything was taken care of just as we had discussed. It was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't hesitate to celebrate another event there again. They are well organized and very professional. The prices have gone up since I used them, but knowing how first class everything is handled there, I wouldn't mind paying the increased rates!

To comment on the pricing, our menu pricing is competitive within our market for the Fort Worth area. When this particular bride contracted the pricing was for 2006-2007 as our current pricing is for 2009-2010. With increases across the board in every field; a price variation is to be expected from 2007 to 2009.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR PARKING?
Parking is available in Garage 1 located at the 200 block of Commerce and Garage 2 located at Calhoun Street between 3rd and 4th streets. City Club may arrange for guest parking to be charged to the host's account or guests may pay upon conclusion at the exit gate. There is no charge for parking after 5:00 p.m. or on Saturdays. City Club can assist groups if they would like to arrange valet parking for their guests.
DO ANY OF THE ROOMS HAVE INTERNET CAPABILITIES?
All of our banquet rooms have wireless internet capabilities as well as DSL.
WHEN IS THE FINAL GUARANTEE DUE?
The Club will require a final guarantee by noon three business days (72 business hours) prior to the event. This will be the minimum guarentee, not subject to reduction. If a guarantee is not received, the estimated number of guests will be used unless more are in attendance.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Guests of City Club are expected to dress appropriately for the occasion. Shorts, t-shirts, jeans, flip-flops and sneakers are not acceptable. Please consider the dress code for all appointments and deliveries to City Club.
DOES CITY CLUB ALLOW OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE TO BE BROUGHT IN FOR A PRIVATE EVENT?
Guests may not bring food or beverage (alcoholic or otherwise) into the club from outside sources. Excess food or beverage may not be taken from the club.
IS IT NECESSARY TO BE A MEMBER TO USE CITY CLUB?
While City Club membership is not an absolute requirement, members do receive substantial reductions on pricing for room fees. Club members may also receive preference in scheduling the Club's Private Function Rooms as well as full Club privileges for business and social entertaining. Fitness Center privileges may also be added to a Club membership.
Add Glitz to your Wedding...
Centerpieces- hanging crystals are a beautiful way to add glamour to your reception. To help save on costs, simply add 1 or 2larger hanging pieces to create character & add more depth to your centerpiece. Shop online and order the jewels yourself & give them to your florist to add.
Bouquets – This is the easiest area to be-dazzle. Add rhinestones or pearls throughout the bouquets to add more shine. You can even cover the stems with jewels & pearls instead of traditional ribbon. If you have a family heirloom brooch, this is a great way to incorporate that as well.
Hair Crystals – Add a few jewels, crystals or pearls to your hair for a little extra glitter. You can even select an antique hair clip to add a little more bling. Your veil can also be “glammed up” with the addition of jewels to compliment your dress.
