CJ Callaways

We used Chef April through Callaways. All we gave her was a rough idea of what we were looking for along with an unusual design for that cake and next thing we know, out comes an AMAZING cake. We chose to do a cupcake option rather than the traditional wedding cake for the guests. It may have been one of the best decisions of the entire night. In fact, the cup cakes were so good that one of our guests or wedding party decided to walk off with what few were left over!! Chef April did an amazing job and I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Tina, the events coordinator, is fabulous to work with! She answered questions promptly and went out of her way to make our wedding planning a success and hassle-free! Tina and her staff did an awesome job decorating the front entryway and tables in the event center. They set out our favors, which we dropped off the day before the wedding and had them on each table spot! We also dropped off pictures and guestbook decor and they used that to decorate the entryway! They were just absolutely wonderful! We would recommend C.J. Callaways to ANYONE! Chef April did an awesome job on our cake, which mimicked my wedding dress, as well as the Groom's cake, with was a Minnesota Twin's baseball cap!!

I ordered my cake through Chef April at Callaways. I showed her a picture of
what I wanted and it came out AMAZING. It was way more than what I expected it to be. She was very professional and the cake tasted fantastic. Her Vanilla buttercream cake with rasberry filling is to-die-for. She packed it nicely and it made it 3 hours to our reception. It held up to our 90+ degree day. Thanks April.

AMAZING! Chef April's cake are unbelievable. We gave her a some ideas of what we were thinking and she did an amazing job with our travel themed cake. It tasted phenomenol and received nothing but fantastic reviews from all of our guests.

Chef April made us such a beautiful cake all based on a drawing/design I came up with. She melded fondant use with buttercream in such a way that was extremely tasty while still looking sleek and amazing. I had a flavor (butterscotch) in mind and although it is not a standard choice of filling, she developed it just for us. We were so pleased with out cake that the top tier was too tasty to save. We ate it in the week following the wedding. We'll definitely be getting an anniversary cake from her next year. Her professionalism and talent has guaranteed that she will be our "go-to" for cake for years!
