Very easy to do business with. The owner was receptive and attentive to my requests, and made sure everything went smoothly and according to plan. Every song I ask for was played, and the DJ avoided all the songs I did NOT want played.

Their photo booth was a nice touch as well. Great quality for the price, and the technician was friendly and welcoming.

DJ Jimmy was outstanding. He met with us before the wedding so that he understood our wants and needs. He beautifully played the piano live during the cocktail hour which our guest thoroughly enjoyed. Jimmy then kept the dance floor packed until 1:00 am, playing something for everyone. He was very flexible and agreed to stay late when we extended our bar. We had a blast!

We had Pat from CJ Sound. I was told before the wedding by family and friends that music can make or break a wedding....he definitely made ours! He was upbeat, friendly, and kept us dancing until the very end. The dance floor was packed the entire night. He played all the songs we put on our play list, the requests made by guests, and really just played to the crowd. They say on their website that they charge about $50 more than the typical dj...but it was completely worth every penny.

The DJ provided was very personable and it was a very good and appropriate blend of music.

We used CJ Sound for our wedding, Brian was our DJ, he did a GREAT job! He kept the dance floor packed, playing songs that related to our guests. He was very professional, and did everything we asked of him. We woiuld definatley reccommend him to our friends and family!

We had dj Pauly Paul for our wedding!! 1 word to describe him AMAZING!!!! He was just awesome had the dance floor full and party going to the very end!!! Anything I asked he was there with an answer! All our guests just loved him and wanted more!! The lighting was amazing it made our wedding complete. He was funny to and had people cracking up! You can have a wedding with flower, cake, or dress mishaps and all will be forgotten. You cannot have a wedding with a terrible DJ. Everyone remembers a boring wedding. The DJ makes a successful wedding.
This is the second time we have used CJ Sound. My daughter's wedding had a DJ named Jimmy. Since I was unfamiliar with his work, Vince, the owner, assured me that I "could see his work". Since the DJ is so important I went to another wedding he was working and the dance floor was full--this mother of the bride was satisfied.
Jimmy met with my daughter, made phone calls, changed songs (at the wedding) with a moment's notice. He was wonderful. Thank you!!!

CJ Sound did my best friends wedding, and my sister's wedding. When it came time for my wedding, I knew who I wanted to use. I did shop around just to price check. They were without a doubt the best value. Esp since I knew the quality of the services.

Our Dj was Jimmy. He was FABULOUS!!! Always professional, on top of everything from start to finish. He personalized our wedding to fit our tastes in a unique venue beyond anything that I could have imagined. Blending ethnic greek music, popular hits, and classics that got the party started.

We had Jim Lecksell as the DJ and MC for our wedding this past weekend and he was awesome. He talked with us on the phone several times and then met with us in person as well, helping usake aome deciscions we hadnt even thought about before. When we made some essential song changes days before the wedding he had no problem making adjustments. During the reception itself he did an impeccable job of reading the crowd of crazy people at our wedding haha, and even found a few requests on the fly. You couldn't ask for anything more in a dj. Thanks Jim!

Pat was our DJ for that night at Samuel's Grande Manor. He made our night so special. Being an Indian wedding, we preferred Indian soundtracks and this guy was awesome and very flexible enough to play all the tracks that we wanted him to play. I did a slideshow with nice BGM which I felt running it through DJ's sound system will have it essence...he made it that way. Looking forward for more business with them in near future.

2 words..PAT BOOTH! He was excellent. Only negative is that he didn't start on time, but there was some confusion, so no big deal. Wow, CJ Sound really came though! I was extremely worried because I had very particular needs. We were having a traditional Hindi ceremony as well as having many family members dance, sing and play instruments. DJ Dennis and Vince (the owner) worked very closely with me to choose room lighting, ceremony music and multiple microphones so everyone could hear the couples vows and all of the singing, we couldn't be more pleased! And the dance floor lighting made the party a truly festive event, all the guests commented how amazing everything looked! But the best part of all was DJ Dennis, he was a true professional, extremely entertaining, and kept me and my family calm and reassured all night that we had absolutely chosen the very best and had nothing to worry about, and he was absolutely right. Thank you DJ Dennis and thank you CJ Sound. I will recommend you to everyone.

CJ Sound not only provided great reception entertainment, but they also did a fantastic job with my ceremony music and lighting. Their DJ's ensure that everyone is up dancing and having a great Their lighting added an amazing touch to my ballroom wedding and was absolutely stunning. We had DJ Dennis for our wedding at the Convention Center and he was AMAZING!!!! He kept the party going all night long and played a variety of music and everything I asked for. He was very professional, funny and accomodating. Even the guest who do not dance complimented on how good of a dj he was. At the end of the night for the last song, we still had a ton of people out on the dance floor. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We are still getting compliments on how fun our wedding was.

We had DJ Pat Booth for our wedding on Saturday at Park. The music, the lighting, the professionalism, everything....perfect!! There was never a dead moment on the dance floor. He played everything we wanted & more!! I can't tell you how many notes, emails, phone calls saying what a great "party" we threw....and the DJ was definitely responsible for that. If you are looking at price - CJ Sound is worth every penny!! And I highly recommend you request DJ Pat!!! We would do it all over again if we could.

CJ Sound had done my son's wedding a couple years ago. As soon I got engaged, I knew that not only was I going back to CJ Sound but I would specfically request the same DJ. Pat was AWESOME. Came to my house to meet with me to review - give input. Probably not really necessary - but I was frantic about everything he did it to make me feel better. In addition to reception music, they did my cermeony. Ten Stars!!!!!

We were very pleased with CJ Sound's services for our wedding. Patrick was great - contacting us before the wedding and verifying our song list and working with us to make sure we were happy and our guests would be happy. He was great at the wedding, everything went well, the music was awesome and everyone has so much fun. He played to the crowd very well and trusted that I knew what music my guests would like. We had a great time and I didn't have to really do much of anything!

I couldn't ask for a better DJ. He played every song I requested. He kept it classy. He was a wonderful MC. The uplighting that was provided went above and beyond my expectations.

Our DJ was AWSOME!!!! My husband knew our dj so we requested him, but he did everything just right I couldnt of asked for a better dj. He played great music and you could hear everything that he said. Our dance floor was never empty!!!!

The DJ we were going to use was a friend of the groom's family, but he backed out a week before the wedding. We called CJ Sound and we were lucky that they happened to have our date open. Patrick Booth was our DJ and working with him was a complete pleasure. He was responsive, helpful, professional, and reliable. We have nothing but good things to say about Pat Booth at CJ sound. Pat was unbelieveable in every last detail. He was available and responsive via call, text, email, even Facebook throughout the whole process. Introductions were seamless, first dances were thoughtful, and he directed our guests towards all the desserts, favors, etc. He even did a New Year's countdown for us! 5 stars for Pat Booth over and over. My uncle is a dj in CT on a morning rock radio show and even he thought he was unbelieveable. Our biggest complaint was the dance floor was too full. There were people dancing from 18-80.

Pat Booth was absolutely the best DJ we could have hoped for. He contacted us prior to the wedding with regards to all the details and assured us all of our concerns would be taken care of. He did not disappoint. From scheduling the introductions to dinner music and dance music, he was phenomenal. We had the dance floor packed every minute after dinner. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it. He created the perfect blend of variety for everyone to enjoy. Our reception was at Salvatore's where the speakers were built in to the ceiling above the floor, and let me tell you it was worth the extra expense to go with CJ Sound. It made a big difference not to be able to be drowned out by the music when you're not on the dance floor.

Pat - thank you for everything. I wish we wrote this sooner. Your services were above and betond extraordinary.

We had DJ Dennis for our wedding and he was so great with the whole process leading up to our wedding, I was very specific on what I wanted played at my wedding and I understand now that I programed too much of the night and was disappointed that everything I wanted played was not played and I understand the DJ has to play to the crowd, but I wasn't happy with some of the music choices, I thought he did a great job, but the last couple weeks I've been hearing from people that they didn't like the DJ at all, which upsets me because he is supposed to be the best in WNY. I was also led to believe CJ Sound was one of the only DJ's that could hook up to Rich's Atrium sound system, but the acoustics were horrible in there when the DJ spoke, he was very hard to hear. Dennis was wonderful, but wedding guests like to complain about everything and at my wedding they complained about the DJ. He did keep everyone dancing until midnight as I said before I thought he was great, I didn't mind songs I don't personally like being played that a lot of guests danced to, he did what he had to do and he did a great job with that. He did complain about not being able to play a lot of songs to a guest at my wedding, which I didn't appreciate him talking about me behind my back at my own wedding.

We had Patrick Booth from CJ Sound as the DJ for our September wedding and he was wonderful. He respected my wishes for do-not-plays, played guest requests quickly, double-checked to make sure he was pronouncing all names correctly during the introductions, kept the guests dancing all night long and, most importantly, he managed to impress my father with his professionalism - something that is not easy to accomplish. I have recommended Patrick to othe friends who are getting married. Overall, it was a great experience and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Pat is the best.

Our night would not have been quite as amazing if it was not for CJ Sound! They were very professional. They played the requests we gave them and did not play any song we put on our do not play list. They were able to download songs we wanted that they did not have on the spot, and played the requests of our guests in a timely fashion. Our DJ had an amazing personality, and he felt more like one of our friends then a DJ we hired! I would hire CJ Sound for any party I plan in the future. To us it isn't a party without CJ Sound

CJ Sound did a great job at my wedding. Every song I wanted to hear was played and the DJ (Dennis) had an incredible personality over the mic. We also got the lighting package which consisted of "uplighting" behind the head table along with lasers and blacklights. Everything looked great and it added a lot of character to the room! They are definitely worth the price and are easy to deal with.

DJ DENNIS WAS AWESOME! We received numerous compliments from our guests regarding this talent and ability to keep the crowd upbeat and involved. He was funny, sweet, and professional. Every request was met, and he even played 3 "last songs" because we just couldn't get enough! He really kept the party going and I would highly suggest CJ Sound and Dennis as your DJ!

We chose CJ Sound because of a previous wedding we had been to where they were the DJ. Prior to our wedding, that was the BEST reception we had ever been to, & CJ Sound played a major role in our day being the BEST reception we'd been to :) Our DJ was Bart- he was great! He kept the energy up & the dance floor packed! He stuck to our play & do not play lists & even had a few surprises throughout the night that we perfect!

I had a wonderful DJ - Pat! WOW! He did everything that I asked, and more. The most important item that I stressed to him was that to make the bride happy was to make sure my 86 year old grandfather danced the night away! He did that to perfection! I have gotten so many comments from guests of all ages telling me how great the music selection was. I was nervous, I have been to weddings where no one would dance, and for the most part, my dance floor was full! Great variety, and Pat had a great personality! Highly reccommend Pat to anyone!

We used the Digital DJ after the band finished playing. I highly recommend it for an affordable option - our guests had a blast with it!

Our DJ was awesome! He avoided songs that we asked him to, played music that was fun to dance to, and had everyone dancing all night! At one point, an older relative passed out (after too much dancing, everything is ok!), and he professionally cut the music until we were sure everything was ok, and then restarted it promptly upon request!

Our Dj rocked! He played all the music we wanted and took alot of request from the guest. He helped out and kept things moving at all times.

We had Dan as our DJ and he was exactly what we were looking for. He not only played what we asked him to, but he also played some of his own music selections which were great and perfectly catered to what our guests were into. His personality was great and he wasn't obnoxious or overly involved. It was an awesome night and we couldn't have been happier with our DJ!

First of all, these people come HIGHLY recommended and I am not really sure why! Thye never responded to my emails/phone calls and our DJ was HORRIBLE! He would roll his eyes when someone ask him to play something and mispronounced EVERYONES names including ours!!!! He had everything written out the way it sounded so I am not sure what the problem was. The part that P***** me off the most is that he (Bob) walked out in the middle of our photo session to ask a stupid question and he was kind of rude about it. He did nothing according to planned and then stuck around WAITING for a tip. Which we gave him becuase we are nice but did not give him what we would have if he was anywhere NEAR good. When I called the place to complain... he gave me the run around saying that he is one of their best DJ's and he couldn't believe it. I have YET to hear back. We are VERY easy to please...but expect good service when paying so much money! DO NOT HIRE THEM. You will be sorry!!!!!! We were.

CJ Sound is not getting at A because of some petty things on my part. First, I did not want the DJ to have an obnoxious banner hanging from the booth, and they told us they didn't have one, and yet there was one. It really bothered me, though I'm sure it's standard, I felt it detracted from elegant look we were going for at the reception. Also, they played the wrong version of the song I requested for the Father/Daughter, Mother/Son dance. It was the right artist, right song, but wrong version. I guess I didn't realize there was more than one version.

But I would without a doubt recommend them to a friend. They were very easy to work with and threw in free lighting because we were off season. The DJ, Bart, had the right personality we were looking for and played all of our "must play" songs and none of our "do not play" songs. I felt he didn't play enough of the Top 40 music I wanted, but I think that was due to my not being clear on the form you fill out for them before the wedding. Bart was very helpful in orchestrating the grand entrance into the reception and we all had a good time with that.

Overall, our experience was good. They didn't get a perfect 5 because I didn't talk to my DJ until 2 days before my wedding. I'm not sure if that was my fault or theirs. And we had some communication problems in the beginning. Just ask for Bart when calling-he was awesome and put me at ease after the initial issue. Our DJ Pat Booth was great. He played ceremony and reception music with no problems. He played everything I wanted and nothing I hated. He orchestrated the grand entrance at the reception perfectly. I don't like DJs who talk all the time. Just play the music and he did. Overall, it was a great night and our friends and families were dancing fools. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pat Booth.

I loved CJ Sound. I had a theme wedding and they were so flexible. They were able to find all of the songs that I requested. So were older songs as well as Disney songs. The music was wonderful. I would highly recommend them!

I want to start by saying that our reception WAS a good time... however this is the one vendor I am the most unhappy with. First of all, they didn't contact me to tell me who my dj was or anything until I called a week before the wedding (and multiple times leading up to this call) complaining. I finally talked to my dj, who seemed like a great guy and very personable. We went through my whole planning sheet and I felt very happy. Skip forward a few days (3 days before my wedding) and I realized I forgot to tell my dj something so I called the company and asked for his number because I lost it and they said "oh we switched your dj".... again, I wouldn't have known had I not called. So later that night I finally talked to Paul, who was to be my dj. Had to go through the whole planning sheet again. Get to the reception... one of my MUST PLAY songs was played during cocktail hour... it was somehting we wanted to dance to. I asked him to replay it, he assured me he would and never did. Introductions - he called my mother linda... her name is clearly written as Lynn. It wasn't until my mother went up to him and asked him to get the party started that he started our dances. There were about 3 songs that were on my must play list that did not get played, and they were important to us. Anytime we asked him to play something he would just say it was coming up. Then he started playing awful music and multiple people complained and asked him to switch it. He told my husband that people requested it (except NO ONE was dancing bc of it) and he told my brother in law that he was going with the mood of the people (apparantly not dancing is what he was going for). Also during slow songs that he said something about "for the couples" he played "I loved her first" by heartland.. anyone that knows that song knows it is NOT for couples, it is for a father daughter dance. He also played some other ones I didn't care for, instead of playing the slow songs on my must play list. Lastly, at the end of the night, my husband and I were trying to leave so we asked him to announce that we were leaving bc we wanted to make sure we got to say bye to everyone left. He gave me attitude and asked "what do you want me to say".. in my mind I was thinking, youre the dj think of something... instead I told him, very slowly, "say that the bride and groom are leaving and we want to say bye to everyone on the way out".... I can't tell you if a different dj would have been better, but if you book them, request not Paul.

He was able to get people out of their seats and dance all night long.

Our DJ was Pat and we loved having him. He had a great 'DJ' voice, played all the music we requested, and kept everyone entertained. He was also good looking, which the single ladies at the wedding enjoyed.

DJ Dan was on the ball. He was able to find my college fight song for the introduction, and even found a song that is played at Gator games "We are the boys of ole Florida" during the reception with only 5 min. notice for the garder toss!!! He was fantastic!!

Choosing a DJ was the easiest thing on my list. CJ Sound is already plugged into several Buffalo area reception venues. If they are, look no further, if they aren't call anyway! Our DJ played everything on our playlist and didn't play anything from our do-not-play list. They were reasonably priced, punctual, professional and kept the party going. I will use them in the future!

Our DJ, Dan, was fabulous! He paid very close attention to the wedding planner we filled out and help make the night all we wanted it to be. Highly highly recommended!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Pete was amazing! He did a great mix and the dance floor always had people out there dancing right til the end. He really knew how to read the crowd.
