The photographer from Clair Pruett Photographer was excellent, he took every picture i wanted, and even set up to do portraits of people that wanted them. He was very curtious, professional. I look forward to seeing my wedding pictures.

When we were looking for photographers, we chose Clair Pruett not only because they did my parents wedding 35 years ago, but because they paid such close attention to detail and the final products were always amazing! We had our engagement photos done with them and words cannot express how unreal our wedding pictures were. Our Photographer's name was Joe, and he was so artistic in the way he took photos, and was so complimentary towards all of us by telling us how great we looked. It was really nice! We had so much fun with him that we even asked him to stay after the time he was supposed to so he could enjoy the reception with us! I just got our album the other day and it is so amazing that something that beautiful could actually be done. I couldn't be happier.

We used Clair Pruett for our photography and videography. Both individuals were great to work with and helped capture the memories of our day.

We were extremely happy with the service we received from both the photographer and videographer. They worked very efficiently during the entire event. Prior to our wedding we discussed the shots we wanted, family names, etc.. The photographs were available for us to view about 2 weeks after our wedding! We'd highly recommend Clair Pruett for any special occasion.

This was the most amazing part of my wedding (other than the actually 'getting married' part itself!) Gary took the most amazing photographs, and more importantly, was supportive, creative, professional, and just a wonderful addition to our wedding. I would recommend Clair Pruett to anyone who wants upscale, classy, professional, spontaneous photos for any event!

Everything was wonderful. Had fantastic, unique and traditional pictures and video. So many choices to keep and chose from for albums. Veyr professional, friendly, flexible staff and photographers who were extremely unobtrusive and seemed to blend into the background, yet getting great photos and video. We couldn't have asked for better.

We used Clair Pruett for our wedding on December 3. Our photographer, Pete, was very nice, and patient throughout the day. We are very excited to get our photography back in a few weeks!

Clair Pruett (Blue Bell) was SO easy to work with and made everything calm and easy. They totally understood my specifications for a photographer and paired me with Dan who was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I also used them for videography and wound up with an amazing package deal that was too good to be true. I would use them all over again!!!

The pictures were great...the large album was very clever mixing all sizes and having some pictures in black and white. John, our photographer was very creative setting up pictures at home and Bruce the videographer captured the day beautifully. We would highly recommend using Clair Pruett in Springfield. We were happy to have the entire CD and a clearance to recopy pictures with the wedding package.

We chose Clair Pruett because they are the BEST of the BEST. Needless to say with quality comes cost, but there were no hidden charges. We knew our total cost right from the start. Everything from the first meeting...to engagement pictures...to the album design session has been a pleasure. The pictures were all SOOOO great we had trouble deciding on which ones to include in our album. John and his assistant were wonderful. They were very creative and we ended up with lots of unique shots. They were SOOO unobtrusive. Half the time we didn't even know they were there, but they apparently didn't miss anything. I think they saw more than we did! I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion. We are most likely not done with Clair Pruett.

We went through Clair Pruett in Greenville, DE. Everyone was amazing, from the staff at the storefront, to our photographer, Dan Salvo. They explained everything up front. We had time to choose which package would work best for us. There was even an incentive if we booked far in advance. Our photographer on our wedding day was awesome. He made it fun, eventhough it was hot, humid and we were outside for a long time. He was also very good at capturing the moment and coming up with great ideas for interesting shots. Clair Pruett is very good at matching up a photographer with your style. We knew we wanted less formal shots and more candid ones, and we definitely got what we asked for.

Absolutely amazing! If you don't think pictures are important, you are wrong! Every special, emotional, and wonderful moment of our day was captured with incredible techniques. I can't say enough about our pictures!

We had the privilege of having Clair Pruett Studios photograph our engagement & wedding. We have been working with Daurne and Gary at the Blue Bell office with the engagement pictures and then all the planning and appointments. It has been a wonderful experience and they were so helpful, welcoming, and friendly - we had tons of fun each visit and we were in constant contact with anyone and anything relating to the wedding. We also had the wonderful honor to have Peter, Jason, and Ashley work with us on our wedding day. Peter was amazing with me at my home and throughout the day; such a wonderful man with such a talent. Ashley was his assistant and was absolutely helpful and adorable - I know she got awesome shots as well!!! Jason was the PJ and was with my husband at his home as well as throughout the day - he really captured such beautiful moments as well as hysterically funny moments. He even gave me a few laughs before I walked down the aisle. We absolutely had complete faith in their team and was never once worried or stressed with that part of the wedding-planning and/or wedding day. Their professionalism was amazing and everyone (wedding party, parents, guests, & other vendors) complimented and commented on the quality of their work ethics, as well as, the beautiful, amazing photographs that resulted in such hard work. My guests, as well as the groom and I, were especially impressed with the way they conducted themselves - they didn't bother anyone or "get in people's faces" for pictures; while at the same time, got all the traditional poses necessary with quickness and ease. Even friends and coworkers that were unable to come to the wedding, viewed the online proofs page and were completely awed and fascinated with the beauty and grace of the photographs. We just ordered our album and cannot wait. I have recommended this CP-family to everyone I've known that is in need of a photographer! I just wanted to pass on these kind words.

We had a team of 7 at our wedding between the photographers and videographers and all of them were awesome! The photos are absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to see the end product of the video. The customer service leading up to the day was exceptional as well and I always felt like a cherished customer. I would highly recommend Clair Pruett and look forward to using them again in the future!

I am in the middle of this experience right now...but so far it has been a pleasure. Clair Pruett has a very nice website which allowed me to see portfolios of each photographers work. I scheduled on short notice and paid a reasonable additional fee to reserve the photographer who's work I admired most. I decided on this photographer after comparing his work to another photographer who I felt to be of a comparable artistic style and level of art...but that would cost me double the price and I would not own the rights to all my pictures. For half the price...I got a great photographer and all my pictures. It poured rain on my wedding day...but our photographer Frank was a real professional. He made the best of it and kept a positive attitude. I got a lot of compliments on his effort at our wedding. My mother noted that he seemed to be everywhere and didn't miss an opportunity to try to get something special. I can't wait to see my pictures!

We used Clair Pruett for our engagement photos, save the date magnets, wedding photography and wedding videography. Their work is amazing and we have no complaints!

Wow! The pictures are priceless. The photographer captured poses I would have never imagined. It was worth the money and time spent taking the picture! This is definitely something to leave to the professionals and invest some money in. We stuck to a strict budget for our wedding, but didn't scrimp on the pictures. This I don't regret!

Our experience with Clair Pruett has been great. While they are on the pricey side, their photographers are extremely talented and accommodating. The photos from our wedding look like magazine shots, and our photographer was incredibly thoughtful, creative, and unobtrusive. He got wonderful shots we didn't even realize he was taking! The formal shots are also fantastic, and he really made an effort to capture all aspects of our day. We would absolutely recommend Clair Pruett to others.

Before selecting Clair Pruett to perform our wedding photography, we met with several photographers/studios in our search to find the right person for the job. We ultimately selected Clair Pruett because we felt that it would provide us with the best level of service. Looking back, we have no doubt that we made the right choice. Upon meeting our photographer, Douglas Lockard, for the first time, it was clear that you truly listened to us when we described what we were looking for in terms of our wedding photography. It was apparent that Douglas has a unique approach and a passion for what he does.Douglas and his assistants did a fantastic job! The journalistic style of photography we requested was done with the utmost professionalism and artistic talent. We are thrilled with just how well the photographs have come out. Family and friends who have viewed them have consistently commented on the high quality of work. A wedding day can be hectic to say the least, especially considering the importance of the event and the numerous things that need to be managed. Despite all this, we felt totally at ease having Clair Pruett involved and Clair Pruett fulfilled all of our desires.

I used CP for photography and videography. I have yet to get my proofs (it's been less than a month since my wedding) but so far we are very pleased with the service. We worked mainly with the Blue Bell office. Gary is fantastic and super nice. Anyhow, people raved over our engagement photos. I can't wait to see the photos.

Clair Pruett Studio was wonderful in helping to arrange both photography and videography for our wedding. We began working with them about 9 months prior to the wedding, and every person who assisted us along the way was very helpful. The Studio also allows you to select from their large staff of incredible photographers in order to place a specific photographer on retainer for your actual wedding day. (Extra fee required) We decided to do this, as we especially liked the work of one photographer, Crissy...and she was wonderful both leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We had a somewhat large (and a bit rowdy) bridal party, but Crissy managed this crowd very well, with humor and with letting us be ourselves in the photos rather than forcing extremely formal photos onto the bridal party. She also made it a point to memorize every single bridal party members' name as well as the names of the parents of the bride and the grooom, which we felt was a very nice touch---it felt more personal that way. I recommend Clair Pruett for anyone who wants gorgeous wedding photos!

Haven't seen any of the pictures yet but they couldn't have been nicer and more professional. We looked at a lot of places and even thiough they were more money, they gave you so much it was worth it.

They caught everything I asked for and more!

When things didn't come out right, they fixed it immediately. The engagement photos came out great and the photos they posted online from the wedding are too. I can't wait to pick up all the proofs!

There's a reason why they are award winners!! They are extremely creative and take beautiful pictures. Our photographer was Gary and videographer was Christina. THey and their crew were great to deal with and very nice as well as professional. We received our proofs and we don't know how to pick only 100 from all of them!! We haven't yet seen the dvd but are sure it will be just as good!

Photography was important to me, so I'm glad I went with Clair Pruett. (I worked with the Blue Bell studio) I truly love my pictures, and I know that I'll cherish them forever. Gary shot our wedding, and we had 2 other photographers with him that day as well. The team was wonderful on the day of our wedding, I was amazed at how quickly we got through our formal shots (and so was my bridal party!), and throughout the day we barely even noticed that they were there. That said, they didn't miss any shots, and all our shots are beautiful... we ended up with about 1,800 proofs, and it was next to impossible to narrow down our picks for the album. I will say we ended up spending a lot more for our final album, but ultimately, I could have cut out more pictures than I did. Overall, if photography is something that means a lot to you for your wedding, Clair Pruett (and especially Gary's work) is well worth the money.

Photographer was very professional and qualified! Great service, but for a pretty penny. The only down side to this vendor is the price, but I guess all wedding photography is costly, right? Maybe I was just niave, and they fall in the norm for budget? Be prepared to spend more than you expected when you meet to put together your album because everything is extra. But, overall, the pictures turned out great and the people were easy to work with! :)

We used Clair Pruett for both their photography and videography services. We absolutely loved our engagement and wedding photos. We chose one of their combinations packages however did not include the digital files, which we paid quite a bit more for. There was little flexibility in changing the packages. The wedding albums are what you would expect for most wedding albums. As for the videography, I felt that the samples online were somewhat misleading. The actual video was not as slick/sharp as I was anticipating. Overall, we were really happy with our photos but would recommend a separate videographer.

Wonderful group. Especially fond of the office staff in the Greenville location. Wish I had a few more shots, but very pleased with the engagement and wedding photos! :)

Clair Pruett was awesome! A little expensive in terms of price but totally worth it. We had two photographers, one shooting more traditional posed looks and one photojournalist. We got a wide range of shots, almost 1000 pictures and all of them were amazing. I would definitely choose them again. Our lead photographer John was incredible, telling us exactly what he wanted from us. He even got great shots of our hyper flower girl. People keep telling us our photo album is one of the best they have ever seen!

This was a great photo studio in my opinion. They had great prices. After the wedding, the proofs came online in literally days, very fast. All wonderful pictures. Our photographer was great at the wedding. He stayed out of the way, but yet shot some wonderful photos. He captured every funny or interesting moment and even the serious ones.The only negative was the fact they told us it would be three plus months to get our wedding pictures back. However, I think they just have to say that because we had everything picked out, finished and returned in about 40 days. Everything was GREAT!

Clair Pruett was great - our photos came out wonderfully, they were punctual, professional, and helpful. My only slight issue was value - when speaking with other friends, it feels like we paid more for our package, the DVD of our images, etc. I felt that I was willing to pay more for the reputation, but think that they could do better with pricing. I'd definitely recommend them if you want peace of mind that your photos are in good hands, and we really are incredibly happy with the photographers we had that day as well as the finished product. I like that the photographers can get great shots while staying out of the way and not getting in the middle of an important moment. Thank you Clair Pruett!

My proofs came back beautifully. I am currently working with Ann Marie in the Springfield office to piece together my album. She is wonderful! Her flexibility, creativity and professionalism is why I am so happy I chose them.My photographer was Tommy G. There were a couple of shots that he did not capture that were standard (Like the mother of the bride being escorted down the aisle). Some members of my bridal party said that he had an bad attitude but my husband and I found him to be focused and pleasant. All in all, the pictures look amazing and I have to say that some of my friends' wedding pictures look awful compared to mine!!! The staff is accomodating and friendly.

Clair Pruett is a great option for someone who wants to work with a group of people that are down to earth and realistic about wedding photos. They are not overpriced and have options for every type of wedding budget. I found the office people to be to-the-point and my photographer to be down-to-business and very professional. The photos came out wonderfully and he was very non-invasive the day of the wedding. Just what the doctor ordered!

I knew that the pictures for my wedding day had to be fantastic and special. They came highly recommended and were in our price range. We had three photgraphers for our wedding day and were given more than 900 proofs...amazing but very hard to choose from. The saleswomen who put our amazing photo albums together really knows her stuff because it was hard to say no. We ended up spending a lot more than anticipated on the final product. But in the end they were really wonderful and we have gottne tons of compliments on the pictures...you only get one wedding day so we sure made it special! We also used them for our engagment photos and my mother booked them for family portraits- all of which came out beautiful!

It was very important to us to book a reputable photographer (Because we have WAY too many friends who never received their wedding pictures from shady photographers who closed up shop). True, Clair Pruett is a larger studio but we felt we received excellent attention for our wedding. I would say that they are a bit expensive but we did get what we payed for. Our album and pictures are gorgeous.

Do not use this photographer. They were VERY professional and very helpful. Even so, they were very expensive. For the price, I expected great photos. The pictures that I got were not great. I could have gotten a less expensive photographer and had better pictures. I would recommend that you not use this vendor, as they are NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We also booked the videographer. Again, do not use them. The video we got was 10 minutes long. Our ceremony was from 12-2 and reception was from 6-12, so there was a lot of time and no video. Also, the videographer focused a little too much on chests.....

Pricey, but worth it for the quality of pictures.

claire pruett was recommended by a family friend for our wedding photos. chrissy, our photographer, was fantastic. she beautifully captured our treasured day and we are very happy with her work.HOWEVER, we found the customer service at claire pruett to be quite poor:we waited ages for our wedding album session to be scheduled; claire pruett did not fix all of the issues we raised on the first attempt; and after all of that, some of the photos in the finished wedding album that we we asked to be touched-up were not touched-up at all. so, they had to replace pages, which took more time. In the end, they did what I wanted, but I felt that I really had to stay on top of the staff in order for them to just do theiir job.later, i wanted to add a page to the album; i left several messages and even spoke with the staff, but they gave me the run-around. it's been over a month, and i'm still waiting.as a note of caution, BEWARE THE RECEPTIONISTS! they either don't pass messages, don't know what they're talking about, or claire pruett is really under-staffed (my wedding album contact, for example, was only at work two days a week and was usually too busy to return calls on the days I called). for the top dollar they charge, i expected MUCH better customer service.if it had not been for our wonderful photographer and the photos she took, i would have walked away from this contract. definitely consider purchasing your photo rights and become proficient with photoshop elements - getting claire pruett to print your precious photos in a timely manner will take years off your life

While the pictures themseves turned out nice, the staff was rude and they changed prices on us.

I was sold on Clair Pruett because of all the sample photos they had on their walls. Such creative shots! I wanted that for my wedding. But they were so expensive. Everything from start to finish was an extra $100 here and an extra $75 there, that by the end of it, we spent over $5000. Too much money!!


Videpgraphy:

For all that we spent on our video package – I was hoping for more. Clair Pruett is VERY expensive.

Clair Pruett came so highly recommended. So we felt that – no matter what the cost – we had to have them. This was the one thing for our wedding that we spared no expense on. Because we knew – in the end – this was the one thing that would last forever…our photos. The photographer and the videographer were great. So great!! We love the photos they took. Everything about Clair Pruett was fantastic. UNTIL it came time to put the album together. The saleswoman who helped us REALLY knew how to make it impossible for you to say no. After spending over $4000 on photos and videos to be taken, we ended up having to spend another $800+ to get our album because she included so many photos in it and made it hard for us to say no. If you book them – you WILL get amazing photos – but be prepared to spend, spend, spend.

HORRIBLE...don't do it..not worth all the money. My flowergirl could have taken better pictures. UGH!

This review is applicable to the Wayne office only: The initial consultation went well, we connected well with the representative at the office and she told us a photographer would be contacting us to set up a consultation to establish our preferences for our wedding photography. The only other communication we received prior to the wedding were the receipts from our payments. I had to call the office 2 days before my wedding to find out that they had not booked a photographer for our wedding (They called at 3pm the Friday before our Saturday wedding to tell us that someone was coming and I briefly spoke to him about our expectations of our photos for the wedding). The photographer was not familiar with rules of our church and took some pictures during our ceremony that we disrespectful to our church rules (the officiant was upset over this), and the photographer also took pictures that we did not want in addition to missing important pictures/moments. Though I understand that the photographer worked hard and may not have realized all that included with our wedding, the office also had multiple mis-communications in terms of following up with prints and called and emailed with inconsistent requests (to come into the office when we had already established doing print picks online, additional requests for print picks after they had already been sent and a confirmation email was given). I would not recommend this office/vendor to other brides, it is more hassle than you need at such an important time in your life.

Although my husband and I paid a large sum of money to acquire an upgraded package for our photography & videography, I was sorely dissapointed with the quality of the photographs when we received them. Our photographer's shots were unimaginative & of poor quality. By poor quality, I mean that many pictures were poorly lit, unfocused, too far away or have people's head & knees chopped off. The quality of what I received was nothing like what I saw in the samples at the Clair Pruet office. When I approached the vendor with my dissapointment I was compensated with a free 8" x 8" parent album ( without any photos in it). It's been a few years now, and I still feel disapointed when I look at my wedding album. We extended ourselves financially to get an upgraded photography package because it was, for us, the most important aspect of preserving our special day. Clair Pruett ruined my wedding memories.

I originally wrote a review right after my wedding and had nothing but good things to say because my videographer was great the day of my wedding! Then ... I received my trailer! Great work but crappy music! I called to have it switched and they told me not to worry ! I then asked to choose my music for the rest of my keepsake to come! They agreed and when I went to send it through they then argued saying they don't allow the customer to choose... They never had compaints and my wedding was already being edited!!! I had nothing else to do but wait for the final product! When I got it I immediately called to complain and they once again told me email the music... Which I did!!! I since never heard back from them!! My video itself is great artistic work but the music is stuff I never heard in my life ( down right tacky in my opinion) and I am unable to even enjoy watching it!! The problem with this company is not the video people / editors / photographers it's the marketing and business reps that promise promise promise and then act like they never said that!! These people lost tons of business afterwards because I was looking for a "trash the dress " shoot and also family photos!!! I would never work with them again! Be sure to be clear when booking of what you want!!
