Boxer Clarke and his catering staff are a pleasure to work with - Boxer did a great job helping us to finalize our wedding menu, and his staff was WONDERFUL with their service. The food is incredible - we received so many compliments on the quality & courtesy of the staff. His catering manager went above and beyond - Karen brought a plate of Hors'D's outdoors to us during photos, helped to bustle my wedding dress, and found a vase for my bouquet. They provided a memorable experience, and I highly recommend them for any event!

Boxer Clarke and his staff truly made the reception possible. After contacting him, he recommended our reception venue, our DJ, and our liquor supplier -- and we were thrilled with all of them! The service cannot be overpraised. We met individually with Boxer twice before the wedding to discuss and finalize reception plans. Instead of a seated dinner, we chose to offer appetizers, extensive passed hors d'hoeuvres, and some more substantial pasta stations. His staff served as the coordinators that day with our other vendors (florist, bartenders, pastry chef, DJ, and venue manager). They own all of their own linens and china, which made it easier for us. Classic Catering took care of all aspects of the reception: they set up our wedding favors and our guest book table, they arranged all of the seating based on the weather that day (placed extra tables outside), and they provided total service for the desserts, including the cake cutting. The servers were friendly the entire day. They immediately brought the two of us loaded plates of food and drink when we arrived. They circulated often with plenty of food, and they paced the food and desserts so that no popular item was devoured immediately. They even got to know certain guests' food favorites! They kindly packed up the food and desserts for us to bring home at the end of the night. No one went home hungry. The guests--both children and adults--enjoyed the food immensely. The food was not exotic, but it was well-prepared, fresh, and universally appealing. The cost was very reasonable, particularly for the quality of service that we received. We highly recommend Classic Catering to anyone in the Boston area.

Boxer was extremely professional -- he met with me several days before the event at our venue and walked me through where everything was going to be... as a result, everything was set up perfectly for my wedding. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and everything ran smoothly that night. I would absolutely recommend Classic Catering.

Classic Catering does a fabulous job with all your catering needs. Whether a wedding, office party or dinner party, you will not be disappointed. First off, the food was excellent, it was a great price, we have no complaints there. When we met with him, we also had all the confidence in the world that he knew what he was doing and we trusted him. However, the quality of service left something to be desired. I sent in writting several months ahead of time all of our final decisions. He ended up serving a different salad than we had requested, and never served the chocolate dipped strawberries that was included in the price of the meal. Professionalism got knocked down a bit because of how a miscommunication was handled with the payment. He got very bitter on the phone about not receiving payment, however we had never received a copy of the contract with the payment date on it. Early phone conversations were suppose to lead us to believe that it was due on a certain date, but we didn't pick up on it because it wasn't told to us straight out.

We used this caterer for my sisters wedding and I was so impressed we got him for our wedding. The food is amazing, the staff is incredible, the price was inexpensive and very worth the food they served. I love the choices they had and worked well with special requests....
