I went with Classic Party Rentals because I was told from my catering director that they are probably one of the cheaper rental places (All we needed was ceremony chairs and a dance floor from them). Well they were cheaper and everything but I found that they quickly tried to rip you off to get more money out of you in ways that didn't even make sense.
First time we were told my our venue(which was a country club) that they had a father's day brunch in the morning therefore the dance floor needed to be out the night of the wedding. They wanted to charge us $250 for that. Then the country club wanted us to ask them if they can bring our rentals friday morning before our rehearsal so that we can practice. They wanted to charge us an extra $100 to bring it on friday but said they can do it Thursday for no charge....doesn't make sense at all. My catering director had to call them to get these ridiculous charges dropped from our account, since she told us they will try and do that sometimes.

I was able to find everything I needed for my event at Classic Party Rentals. They were very flexible with delivery times and locations. They also gave me a discount on chiavaris to match the price of a competitor in addition to a 15% courtesy discount on all my other rentals because my wedding was in an off-peak month. The representative that I dealt with was often difficult to get in touch with and did not confirm when she received faxes with credit card numbers, etc. Overall, I was happy with their selection and flexibility.




We rented tables, Chairs, & Linens for our backyard garden wedding. The ceremony started at 12 noon, so we paid extra to have them come set everything up BY 7:30. They did not even arrive at our site until 7:30, and although I provided several diagrams of how everything was to be arranged, they basically brought everything into the back-yard and my husband(fiance) arranged it all. The linens were thin & you could see through them. Luckily I noticed this at their showroom and bought plastic table cloths to go underneath each linen, so the wood table top wouldn't show through. About halfway through the set-up, my mother-in-law noticed that all the chairs (which were white resin chairs) were dirty. So she, my brother-in-law, and some friends helping set-up used windex to clean almost every one. Thank goodness I had folks that were so attentive and that cared as much about that day as I did! After that, everything looked nice & went smoothly. They did come pick the chairs up on time (7:30 that evening), and they did re-fund a portion of our money once my husband went in after we got back from the Honeymoon, but over-all, the experience with them was one of the very few negative ones we had on our day.

All the ladies at Classic Party Rental do a great job with helping put together an event. The were able to custom make napkins to match my daughters baby shower!!! Everything was perfect.
