I have used Classic for linens, dance floor, chair rental and catering equipment. I would like to thank Jenna (sales) for her patience and input on linen choices. Her professional input on what works well, or not resolved a lot of questions we had. Her patience was most appreciated! I coordinated my wedding myself because I wanted it the way I WANTED. I am graetful for the flexibility with delivery of my chairs and dance floor. The church where we held our event was also having other functions and it took some "working through" details with Classic to make it happen (when the space was available). The linens and catering equipment were picked up by us, (how convenient) this worked well for our set up due to access restrictions. There were minimal signs of use that is almost unheard of! For people that do this for a living, I was not impressed. They were very nonresponsive in getting back to quote request in a timely manner. The day of the wedding the delivery crew was an hour and half late, and didn't even have the entire delivery. The remainder of the delivery showed up three hours late. A wedding day is very stressful as is, having to make phone calls and get everything straighten out was a huge inconvenience when you want to be enjoying your big day.

We rented tablecloths, cocktail tables and large tent for my daughter's wedding. Laine Horton was wonderful to work with. She had everything delivered and set up just as we requested. I would highly recommend this vendor for anyone's rental needs. A pleasure to work with.

CLASSIC PARTY RENTALS TURNED ME INTO A GROOMZILLA!!!
I'm a mild-mannered Bruce Banner type 99% of the time, but Classic Party Rentals in Raleigh brought out the Incredible Hulk in me really quickly. I rented folding chairs, linens, wine glasses and cocktail tables for my rehearsal dinner last week. Upon arriving at the venue 3 hours beforehand, fully expecting my staff to have everything set up, I realized that only the chairs had been delivered. The representative from Classic that I had been working with was out of the office and after leaving a surly message with a colleague, I got a return call from the GM. She informed me that the linens were a "special order" and had just arrived at their warehouse in Raleigh, 40 miles away from my rehearsal dinner 3 hours prior to my event. This was a bald-face lie by the GM, as they had tried to arrange a delivery earlier in the week. CLASSIC PARTY RENTALS FAIL #1.
In an effort to save a little face, the GM told me not to worry. 90% of my order is 40 miles away and still not loaded on the truck. And it's Friday. And it's rush hour. Sure, no reason to worry. CLASSIC PARTY RENTALS FAIL #2.
The cocktail tables I rented were so wobbly they were unusable. CLASSIC PARTY RENTALS FAIL #3.
Clearly stated in my contract with Classic, their items were supposed to be picked up by 9am, to allow for cleanup of the venue and set up of another wedding that day. A delivery driver called my bride on our wedding day at 1:30pm asking for directions. CLASSIC PARTY RENTALS FAIL #4.
Unless you like being lied to, need a little extra stress on your wedding weekend or you are a reserved physicist looking to turn into a green behemoth, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

I was very disappointed in the level of service and attention from the woman assigned to help us get our orders. We met with her 3 times, requested layouts which we never got on of the actual site. I had to download a program to layout my nice day/ rainy day layouts. On the website it says they will help you with layouts, what she sent us was different layouts of the 1 large tent, which I found on the website of another company, we rented which only applied if rained. In fact when I did the rainy day layout according to what she had ordered for us it would have included 2 large tents with no way to connect them. The front end of this planning was horrible and frustrating. The guys that came to set up were amazing. They are what gave this rating a 3.7 out of 5. My dad can be a bit of a handful and they were so gracious and patient with him. I also had a couple of changes to make, mostly because they never had a layout of where things go. The guys setting up, I can't speak highly enough about. The sales people need to be taking tips from the installation guys on customer service and requests. Over all wonderful good-quality products.

We did not have to rent any extra linens for our wedding as the venue had options for us, but we did need extra tablecloths for the rehearsal dinner and a shower. The staff at Classic was really helpful. They had a nice selection and their prices seemed really reasonable in comparison to others. They made everything very easy from selection to delivery and pick-up.

While delivering esults on the big day, working with classic party rentals was not easy. I was disappointed with their lack of attention to detail. I could never get someone to call me back, and when I did, they could not provide the level of help I would have expected from such a highly recommended vendor. Weeks before my wedding, they called and informed me that they didn't have enough of the table cloths we had ordered, and we had to change the entire plan. While my wedding planner was able to work it out, I was disappointed with the quality of service. Had I had the option of going with a different rental vendor, I would have done so.

Mark Miller and his people at Classic Party Rentals in Raleigh created a beautiful atmosphere for our wedding in rural Virginia. He went out of his way to come up to our farm and scout the location to determine the best type of tent to use, and then came early to set things up before the wedding. All of the rentals we used were top quality, and he made sure to go over everything before setting up to be sure that we were happy with the tent location and all of the details involved. Everything looked great, and the workers were efficient and polite. We would recommend Classic Party Rentals to friends and family for weddings and other events.

My caterer used Classic as their rental company, so I did not work directly with the company. However, they had a great selection, and their prices seemed very reasonable.
My only concern with them was that one of the major rentals (we had rented materials to "pipe and drape" a VERY ugly wall right behind the ceremony area) was not delivered until about 20 minutes before the ceremony. They still got it there and got it set up in time, but they cut it very close. Otherwise, we were very happy with it all!

I met Joey Cathey and Classic Party Rentals through my wedding planner. They are a first-class operation. They're easy to work with... accommodating to your budgetary needs and they have any tables, chairs, dishes, tents, linens, chandeliers, etc... that you can imagine... if you need it for your special day... they will have it or will get it for you. I highly recommend their services...

Classic Party Rentals have a huge selection of party rentals at really good prices, we decided to use them as our wedding vendor because they were recommended by other party rental places that didn't have what we needed. We rented the pipe and drapes from them 3 days before the wedding. I was extremely dissapointed on my wedding day when what we ordered came in the wrong color. because they close on Sundays, we ended up using the ivory drapes instead of white.

While delivering beautiful results on the big day, working with classic party rentals was not easy. I was disappointed with their lack of attention to detail. The second time I went in to confirm my order they had us down for the wrong size table cloths and the third time I went in, just two and a half weeks from the wedding day, they had us down for black chairs instead of white when we had never discussed having black chairs (hideous for our location). If I had not been on them about my order I dont know about the quality and quantity I would have received. I guess I expected a lot from such a highly recommended vendor. Looking back I might have gone elsewhere.

Mark at Classic Party Rentals worked with my caterer and got us everything we needed. He did not have the table cloth overlays I wanted in stock and arranged to have them sent from Florida. I was pleased with everything we rented.

Working with Classic was awesome. We worked with Laine, and she was extremely helpful in everything that we needed. Our tent was absolutely AMAZING! They had a ton of different varieties to choose from, and this was true for their linens and other accessories as well. Definitely go with Classic regarding your event rentals.

Classic Party Rentals was a great vendor to work with! They were flexible in setting up an appointment for us to come in and look their rental selections. We discussed what we liked and withing a day or two had a proposal sent to us. We were able to discuss options & make changes as necessary. Paula was great communicating with our caterer which made the rental process very easy. All the rental items were dropped off Friday morning & ready to go for our event & they picked items back up on Monday. I would recommend them to anyone needing rentals!

We worked thru Triangle Catering to secure our party rental needs with Classic Party Rentals. They had everything we needed...linens, china, glassware, flatware, pole and drape backdrop, can lights with gels, and the dance floor. Everything was delivered and picked up without any glitches. All interactions we had with the rental staff, both in the office and at our venue, were professional and friendly.

Classic Party Rentals recently acquired the old Special Events Rentals. Classic Party is out of CA I believe. The prices are a little higher than they used to be, but I got the old pricing on the tents, because I came in just before the change over. The staff is still really helpful, and accomodating. We asked for a site-survey to make sure our tent would fit on the site we had chosen, and they did not charge us for that. They also helpfully suggested a smaller less costly tent because it would fit better. They worked with us on price, letting us do some of the set up and take down to save money. All in all I was very pleased with this vendor.

The prices seem to be pretty fixed for most tent/table/lighting rentals, but they had a good selection and availability and everything turned out well.

There were fees charged that I was not made aware of. When I called to question the charge the woman was EXTREMELY rude. I never received a contract so I was not aware of the charges. She told me it was my job to ask for one and that they would have emailed me the contract if I would have given them my email. They never asked for my email and I did not receive contracts from all the vendors so I didn't think it was an issue. I have never been married before or planned a big event so I do not think it is the customers responsibilty to know all the details. They are responsible, not the customer.
