Classical Charleston

We hired the electric string trio for our wedding. Throughout the process, Andrew was so easy to work with. He answered emails right away, and had lots of good suggestions. I definitely recommend upgrading to the electric trio or quartet. The instruments are very cool, and the sound is beautiful. They definitely added that extra something and were a pleasure to work with.

I wish I could rate Andrew and the team at Classical Charleston higher. I will never forget for as long as I live standing in dressing room with the standard pre-wedding butterflies when Andrew and team arrive. The second they started to play, everything suddenly became very peaceful and calm. It was the perfect ambiance for our weeding. In that instant everything felt perfectly right. MY string ensemble my 'must have' for my wedding, above the dress, the cake, everything and I couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. The quality, responsiveness and service was beyond anything I expected. For example, I had to change wedding venues 5 months before the wedding due to an unforeseen situation and Andrew made every effort to not only work with us to address his performance at our wedding, BUT ALSO gave me assistance during the crisis by recommending venues and contacts and even checking in on us. I would recommend Classical Charleston for any wedding, reception, or event to anyone. They were the icing on my wedding cake! :)

They played a customized song just for us and it was beautiful! Andrew is great!

Andrew was very professional and courteous. He was very accommodating on a special request- we asked for a tiny excerpt of a piece of music featured in the movie Master & Commander and he pulled it off wonderfully! He really knows his stuff! I wish i had a reason to book him again (we opted for a string duet for our small beachfront wedding, Andrew said that was the best option & he was right). If you want something special for your wedding, this is it!

I had a violin and cello string duo play the ceremony music at my July 2nd wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful. The music was beyond amazing, and the string duo version of The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" is perfect! After months of email communication, Andrew really came through to help make my wedding ceremony truly a moment to remember! :-)

Andrew at Classical Charleston was wonderful to work with. He promptly responded to all my emails and was very helpful in guiding me in choosing the right music for our ceremony. They presented well dressed for our venue and played beautiful music both in the ceremony and during the Cocktail hour.

Classical Charleston provided a duo of a violin and cello for my noon wedding and it was perfect. Andrew and Tomas are very professional, extremly talented and can play a variety of music from classical to Cold Play. The ceremony was strictly classical and transitioned to more contemporary music after the wedding. Andrew was very responsive, offered very good feedback on music selections, and just very nice to work with. He even helped me find a stylist to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I would highly recommend Classical Charleston for any special ocassion.

I was referred to Classical Charleston by our wedding coordinator, and after talking to Andrew Mille on the phone for the first time, I knew I wanted them to play at our wedding (I selected a duo - violinist and cellist). He was very engaging, answering all of my questions and priced reasonably. They provide sample muisc on their website which was so helpful! When I gave Andrew my list of music that I wanted played he was willing to perform all of it without hesitation, even the music he didn't have sampled on his website. The music was amazing at the wedding and I would recommend this company highly if you are looking for a ceremony musician.

We changed our ceremony music at the last minute....literally less than a week before the wedding...and they were so accommodating. They get bonus points too because our new music choices couldn't have been MORE untraditional.

Anyone who is getting married in the Charleston area and is looking for exquisite music should contract with Classical Charleston! I went with pieces other than the traditional wedding marches and trumpet fanfares, and they were so accommodating! Everyone that attended mentioned the music when they told about their favorite details of the wedding. My only regret was that I was so nervous that I don't remember much of it! But I do know that if I had it to do over again, I would definitely hire them. And I would most eagerly recommend them to any bride.

Classical Charleston provided such wonderful entertainment for our wedding ceremony and cocktail music. It was also nice that you could choose how many musicians that you wanted to better fit the price for your budget and it still sound amazing. They made our wedding ceremony!!

I found out about Classical Charleston by going on-line. I loved the way I could listen to them actually playing various pieces. From the moment that I contacted them by e-mail their professionalism, communication and especially their actual performance during the service was top notch. I think that my favorite part of the wedding as mother of the bride was the music. It was so beautiful it made me cry. I ask them if they could play Edelweiss for the grandmothers entrance. It wasn't something that they had not played before but they came through with a beautiful performance of it for the wedding day.
There were questions that I had about what to play when and they were helpful with suggestions. Their actual performance sounded exactly like what you hear when you listen to them on-line. I highly recommend Classical Charleston and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I am originally from Charleston but had moved away a couple of years ago and was planning my wedding from PA when I found Classical Charleston online. Andrew was very flexible, informative, and courteous whenever I came in town to make wedding plans, meeting me when and where it was convient for me. I took two years to plan my wedding and throughout this time he was good about keeping in touch and working with me. We got married in May 2010 outside at Magnolia Plantation. The trio arrived on time, dressed professionally, interacted with the guest in a professional manner, and played the music we had selected for the ceremony beautifully (and I play the violin). During our cocktail hour they chose a jazz selection which was delightful. Since we were outside I was concerned about whether or not we'd be able to hear a trio.. but Andrew was right, the trio was just right! They were flawless and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! There Cannon D made me cry! There is nothing better than a wedding with classical musicians.

The musciians played throught the ceremony and cocktail hour. Although I did not hear much of their performances, the guests told me they were wonderful and a great addition to the event.

I wanted a mix of contemporary and classical music at our wedding and that was exactly what was provided. It was perfect. Tons of compliments!
