Amazing. Nothing less. I know there were some mixed reviews, but I dealt with Cleo and not the sales women. I came in without an appointment because I stumbled across the store on my way to try to find the highway. I was so happy I found it. As I walked in, I noticed a sign saying that appointments were needed, but decided I could go in and ask to make an appointment for later that evening. Cleo said that she was not busy and would help me out. I told her I was looking for something different, unique, form fitting, yet princess like. She let me look on my own first without any pressure and then looked at my choices. She automatically called me out on picking very similar dresses and told me I was only allowed to try on two of them since they all looked the same and then two of her choices for me. She said if I didn't like them I would be able to try on more of my choices or have her pick more out for me. I tried my choices on first. They were exactly as she predicted- plain jane and what I was trying to avoid. Then I tried on her choice for me and everyone knew it was it. I didn't want to take it off. The dress was on clearance for only 450 dollars (originally 1300). The dress was a floor sample (but because Cleo was the only one that was allowed to handle bridal gowns they were in perfect condition). Pressing was free and because she was busy with a new born she recommended that I go to alterations with a friend of hers who did an amazing job. I had so may compliments on my dress on my wedding and still today. I hear now she is closing her bridal section down and only doing prom, but I hope that she reconsiders and continues handling the dresses herself (and not have her staff do it).

I visited Cleo’s Bridal after seeing on their website that “ALL BRIDAL GOWNS 50%-70% OFF, except La Sposa 2011”. This sale can also be viewed on their Facebook page. They are no longer selling bridal gowns, so they are trying to sell all of their sample gowns. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by an employee who re-stated this sale verbatim. We picked out gowns, which we had to wait for the employee to get off of the rack for us, then I started to try them on. She would not help me get into the dresses. I had to step into them on my own, then she proceeded to only button the dresses up half way because “it takes too long”. As I tried dresses on, the employee had no shame in telling me out right that certain parts of several dresses were “unflattering” or “not cute” on me. About 20 minutes into my hour appointment, the sales girl tells me that I need to hurry up and narrow down my dresses because she has another appointment after me. My 2 friends, who I brought with me, were forced to share one chair in the corner of the room as there was nowhere else to sit. One of my friends informed me that every time I went to the dressing room to change, the employee kicked the train of the dress in after me. Mind you, these are sample dresses, which they are trying to sell. After a few dresses, I found the one. The dress was a little too big, and the sales girl would not clip it in place for me. We asked her how much it was as the tag said $900. She said that it was 50% off, since it was NOT a La Sposa 2011, and would then be $450. I could not buy the dress at that moment, as I had to wait for my mom. So the sales girl said that I could come back any day to try it on again, and wrote the style number down for me. I returned to Cleo’s 2 days later with my mom, intending to buy the dress. We were greeted by Heather, who was a much better sales person (or so I thought). We told her of the difficulties that we had with the other lady, and she was extremely sorry. I decided to purchase the dress and asked her to check the price again and told her that the girl before had told me $450. Heather had to call and check with Cleo, and told me that the dress was only 30% off, not 50% as I was told and their store had advertised. I told her that I could not pay that price, so Heather offered me 40% off. I told her that I still could not pay anything other than what I was quoted the first time. She said “okay, let’s do it”. She got the paper work out, and then received a call from Cleo. Heather was not allowed to sell me the dress for anything except 10% off the ticketed price of $900. So the dress that I was told would cost me $450 had nearly doubled in price to $810. I refused, and left the store crying. Heather pleaded with my friends and mom for me to come back, and she would find me another dress in my budget. I did not come back, and nor will I ever. This was an awful experience, and I do not wish it upon any other bride. Save yourself the aggravation, and stay away from Cleo’s Bridal.0

I loved my dress and so did others but it Cleo's shut down in the winter months due to the owner having a baby. I guess that's what happens when you can do that with your own business. When I bought my dress I knew I would have to have it hemmed so I asked the girl helping me how much it would be to hem it. She said $75. I didn't think of anything more to ask and neither did my mom but a few months before the wedding, like 2-3 I called to inquire about the hemming and when would I have to have the dress in by for my May wedding. Imagine my surprise when she informed me that she was no longer doing alterations and that I would have to take it elsewhere. Had I known that I wouldn't looked sooner to find someone, she should've let customers know that she was no longer doing alterations after a specific date.

Local, really close to downtown columbus, would go if i had the way, however it's a real good place to go to

I knew the very first dress I tried on at the very first store we went to was the one I wanted. But I appeased my mom and we tried Davids Bridal @ Easton (okay service, but crappy selection) & Wendys Bridal @ Sawmill (HORRIBLE service and even crappier selection) and a few other little dress shops at home, but I knew that the La Sposa Semiramis at Cleos was my dress! Cleo gave us great advice from the beginning and she was so easy to work with. We ended up ordering all of the bridesmaids dresses from her, too. Everything came in on time and she was always on top of everything. We also bought my veil & barrette there and the barrette was one of a kind.
