Clever Confections has provided my son's birthday cake every year since his birth. We just ordered #4, and once again, it was amazing. No other cake tastes better than Clever Confections. All I did was tell Cammie the theme of the party and she created a fabulous cake every year. I highly recommend this cake shop for all of your wedding and party needs!

Cammie is a genius and cake making artist! She is wonderful. Her cakes are so creative...you can go to her with a concept and she can turn it into something fabulously original.

Not to mention they actually taste better than any cake I've ever had!!!! She is seriously worth every penny (which isn't too much because she is incredibly affordable too!).

Plus, she genuinely cares about you and your event. She truly understands how these important details matter to the milestones in your life!

My wedding cake and grooms cake were both incredible! So beautiful, incorporating everything I requested along with more detail than I could have imagined. They tasted awesome and the price is so reasonable! My husband was so surprised by the beer tub cake that incorporated custom labels with his favorite beer and our dog who is the main part of our life! I am so thankful I found Clever Confections-Cammie is amazing!!

The cupcakes were delicious and the differnt flavors offered were great....The flexibility was wonderful (Sorry for the last minute order). VERY personable and easy to talk to, and thanks for the different suggestions. Only thing was my perception of how the football turned out but really how can you make a football out of cupcakes....would recommend her to everyone and would use her again.

Cammie has been making cakes for myself and plenty of others that I know for years! I have had cakes for birthdays, baby showers, going away, rehearsal dinner, wedding, etc. - pretty much any event in need of a cake, we go to Cammie!

Not only are her designs AMAZING (and flawless), but the cakes taste amazing too! (The lemon cake with lemon chiffon icing is to die for!) Most recently Cammie made a groom's cake for us featuring a perfect rendition of our high school mascot, and she also made us the most beautiful wedding cake ever. (See pictures of the white wedding cake with pink peonies cascading down it.) Cammie totally "gets" your vision for your cake, and even if you don't quite know what you want, she is so helpful and will come up with perfect suggestions and ideas for you to develop the design and choose the best combination of flavors.

What else can I say? Clever Confections is the best! Cammie should have her own cake show. :)

I have used Cammie for two very special occasions. First was my husbands 50th birthday, where she created two amazing cakes. One was a replica of his boat and the second was a cake of a wine bottle. Not only did they look amazing, they also tasted so good. Second was our daughters high school graduation. She did a cake in the shape of the symbol of the college she will be attending, Indiana University. She also did an Ohio State cake for the other graduate of the party. The cakes were definatly a show stopper. I HIGHLY recommend Cammie for any occasion. She can do anything.

I have been using Clever Confections for years now for special occasion cakes. Cammie is amazing! Our wedding cake experience was fantastic. I wanted some flavors that were slightly different from the norm and she did whatever it took to make it happen. The tasting was great... my future mother-in-law, fiance's grandmother and we were impressed with the presentation and flavor combinations Cammie created for us. She is not afraid to try something new to give the client what they want. The end result was beautiful and affordable, which is every brides dream!
She's taken my crazy ideas and turned them into reality, from a 3D wedding dress with bridesmaid cupcakes, to a graduation cake for my now husband, to our wedding cake. Cammie Hines of Clever Confections produced one of the most scrumptious cakes I've ever had for the Doors of Compassion event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. In every bite were bursting flavors of lemon and raspberry along with a creamy filling that simply makes you want another bite of goodness. Cammie created a cake that looked liked a drum set that perfectly fit the "rock 'n roll" theme and was a classy addition to our dessert buffet. As chair of the event, I am happy to say that working with Cammie was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. She was extremely creative, ambitious and a true professional. It was great to meet someone who took a genuine interest in our event. Thank you again Cammie!

The "Beer Tub" grooms cake you provided was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The "sugar" beer bottles were incredible and everyone talked about the cake all night....even moreso than my wedding cake! Although I questioned her "SATC" theme, the cake was stunning and Kara was overjoyed and nearly cried when she saw it! The wedding cakes Clever Confections did as my gift to my "second" daughter was magnificent. Cammie Hines worked with the bride to create exactly the cake she dreamed of. The cake was perfectly executed, had to be delivered to Cincinnati (the "Oasis"), where the banquet manager said that she had never seen such a perfect cake and that the sugar flowers were the best work she had seen. Not only was the cake goregous, but was delicious too. There was very few (less than 10) servings left and Cammie even make a special cake for the bride and groom to honor and display their grandmother's wedding topper. Cammie took special effort to find a way to make that a very special moment for the family and guests. You will find her very creative and solution oriented.
Also, a huge hit was the grooms cake. I have never seen a groom so happy with a cake that captured his personality and style. Plus it was a surprise to him which made it even better.
Both Bride and Groom still rave about their cakes and it may be the best wedding present I have ever given.
I recommend Clever Confections without reservation. I'd book early, once people find out what a pro we have right here in the Miami Valley, her capacity is surely to fill up quickly.

I have had the pleasure of enjoying what are family now calls "Cammie Cakes", for years now. Once you have a Cammie cake no one else measures up. The cake flavors are second to none! The designs are works of art! They are always the centerpiece and the biggest topic of conversation at every event. When it was time to get a wedding cake for my sister's weddings (two sisters), Clever Confections was of course was the first and only cake company I would use. The cakes were fabulous and when I see people from the weddings they still ask "where did that came come from?" One word.. Unforgettable.

We used Cammie and Clever Confections for our wedding cake and had a wonderful experience! She truly made the event spectacular with a beautiful, breathtaking cake.

In the meeting with her, she gave several suggestions and ideas to make the cake one of a kind. She listened to what we wanted and delivered on everything. We opted for a "dummy" cake of styrofoam and sheet cakes, since we had a lot of guests and it was the most affordable way to feed them all. When there was a small issue that arose, she called us immediately and even suggested an alternative and no one was the wiser.

The cake was perfect! Moist, delicious, beautiful. Even after our honeymoon, we tried some of the leftover cake and it was still great.

I suggest Clever Confections to all my friends in the area, it truly is the best value we've found. We continue to go to Cammie for all our party cake needs and we've never been disappointed!!

I have used Cammie and her services for over 5 years for my kids birthday cakes. Every unique idea I have thrown at her she has mnaged to fullfill with flawless expertise. Everything from a chicken cake to a 3-D pool cake including my 2 daughters floating on rafts. I don't think there is a design out there she couldn't recreate in cake form. They taste yummy too!

Awesome service and design. Cammie has the skill and vision to execute cakes that are right from a magazine, a true talent. Stunning and delicious. Seriously...the the moistest cake Ive had and her Oreo filling is simple addictive...and her strawberry cake is just WOW. I haven't had a bad cake. I recommend her to everyone wanting a show stopping cake!
