I hired Cliff Nichols Photography to commemorate my daughters wedding. I was introduced to Cliff through a friend who had hred Cliff to do a wedding and was familiar with his work. He raved about his great attitude, attention to detail, his professionalism, his knowledge of his craft and locations and his reasonable prices. I usually don't believe half of the things I hear from friends or family but in this case he was right. I met with Cliff in October and explained to him everything I wanted and expected of him. From that point on Cliff took over and I did not have to worry about a thing regarding photography. He coordinated his services with the Event Planner, Caterer Limo Driver and DJ/MC. On the day of the wedding everything went as planned and better than expected. His work was A+ and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

I LOVE my pictures and video! They're perfect! Cliff worked so hard to make sure I had every shot we wanted and was great to work with. Even wore a suit jacket and tie to work in. Lots of photographers wear jeans and lounge wear and I think it's so tacky. Great personality and everyone loved him. I made the perfect choice for my wedding. Everyone went crazy on Facebook when I started posting my pictures. Thanks Cliff!

CLIFF WAS EXTREMELY PATIENT AND PROFESSIONAL DURING THE ENTIRE EVENT AND WAS WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE BY COMING EARLY AND STAYING LATE TO ACCOMIDATE ANY NEED WE BROUGHT UP. The way Cliff captured the events of our big day is just amazing. We had so much fun watching the pictures, because they took us right back to some very special memories. David & I both absolutely love our pictures we both feel like he captured the emotion of the day, we could not be happier. We will remember our wedding day for years to come. Of course we would work with Cliff again and he is highly recommended to our family, friends and everybody else.

Cliff Nichols is an expert wedding photographer because the result gives testimony to his professionalism. My wife and I planned early to find a great photographer and we were not disappointed with Cliff Nichols. From the very beginning of the process Cliff Nichols exceeded every one of our expectations and more. Cliff understands each of the precious moments and can use that anticipation to encourage the results. I am convinced from the quality of Cliff’s photos that our daughter’s wedding wasn’t just digitally encapsulated through Cliff’s lens but he preserved the wedding’s very essence beyond what I thought was possible.

Wow, what a great photographer Cliff Nichols proved to be for our daughter's wedding! Cliff planned every picture in advance with me (the bride's mom) on the phone and through email exchanges and had wonderful advice and suggestions to help along the way. His experience, comfort with the whole wedding process and strong customer service ethics was evident from the start. Weddings can often be stressful times but Cliff kept everything running smoothly and efficiently, all while keeping a calm facade and humor throughout. Once we received the picture disc we were blown away by the gorgeous pictures, unique and artistic quality in each and every photo!!! One of my favorites was of my daughter, looking at a handheld mirror into a bigger mirror to see herself from all views right before walking down the ailse with her Dad....breathtaking. One special day preserved for a lifetime. I am so grateful to Cliff Nichols for a memorable experience.

We enjoyed working with Cliff. He did our engagement photos and the wedding ceremony/reception photos. In both cases he was very good to work with. He is very detail oriented and wants to make sure a picture is just right (lighting, background, etc.). He will surprise you and take photos you did not expect and they will still be good. He has a good eye for photos to take. Prior to the wedding we talked about the different types of photos to take before, during, and after the ceremony, and during the reception. He really tried to make sure we got the photos we wanted, and we did. When we had questions he responded quickly via phone or email. During our big day he blended in well with the guests. With the many shots to take he stayed busy. We also had a very tight timeline to work with, but we still got close to 800 photos. I would highly recommend Cliff to anyone who needs a photographer for their wedding!

Cliff Nichols is an amazing photographer! He is wonderful at what he does and it truly reflects in his work. Cliff's work ethic is outstanding! Our wedding was September 10, 2011 and I could not have asked for anything better. Cliff showed up at our rehearsal to get shots of the church which we originally hadn't planned. He showed up the day of the wedding hours before the service began to ensure that he captured all the shots we had originally talked about (and a few cute surprises too). Pictures during the ceremony were from all angles and he was never in the way. My guests said they never even saw him. We were on a time crunch for all the formal shots but Cliff was on his game with moving everyone around and getting all the formal shots. We had a blast on the Tega Cay golf course and the pictures turned out beautifully. Cliff's prices are very affordable to other people in the area and his quality of work, in my opinion, is beyond what you are paying for. Cliff edited all the pictures he took and in a few weeks we had over 800 pictures on a customized CD. Cliff Nichols is wonderful at what he does and can take the burden of finding that perfect photographer off your shoulders.

I don't usually write reviews but I just need to do my part to help a sister out - during this "crazy" wedding planning time.

Simply stated - Cliff gets it. From the moment we met Cliff, it just felt right. Cliff is a dream to work with, he has a special ability to connect with people and understand what they want. From the first meeting with Cliff, we felt like we were having a glass of wine with a lifelong friend on our living room sofa. We were looking for a "simple and elegant" way to capture the emotion and energy of our wedding day. He totally he blew us away -WOW!

Cliff paid special attention to detail in the pre-planning process and made it a breeze for us. He took time to understand our wishes and desires and oriented us to the process of how he would capture these on film. He is incredibly intuitive, and anticipated our needs as well as the needs of others in our wedding party and family. He has a great sense of humor, we had a great time with him and he made it really fun for everybody.

Cliff's ability to capture the essence of our wedding and present it in an almost surreal story, is mind blowing. Best money we spent on our wedding - was Cliff Nichols. Do yourself a favor and check this off your list - hire Cliff and relax.

Cliff was an incredible wedding photographer! My husband I were married at The Morehead Inn in Charlotte, NC on September 25, 2010. I was impressed by Cliff's professionalism and also his attention to detail. We were on a very tight timeline with our photographs between the ceremony and the reception, and Cliff made sure that we got all the formal and informal shots we wanted and then some. He worked with my husband and I before the big day to discuss the types of shots we wanted, and he always responded quickly to emails, phone calls, etc. Prior to the wedding, Cliff helped me make a list of special photos I wanted during the reception (with childhood friends, sorority sisters, etc.) and he made sure that they happened. The quality of his photographs was exceptional as well. I was really amazed by his ability to get amazing pictures while being unobtrusive, he was never ever in the way. Cliff also took pictures from multiple angles and perspectives which I appreciated. In addition, we were planning our wedding on a budget and Cliff offered us the best photography package at the best rate. He even worked a bit overtime for us on that day to capture everything and didn't charge us for the extra time. Following the wedding, he took the time to edit all of our photos individually, and sent us the best pictures over email right away. Shortly thereafter, we received a CD of 600 plus edited images that we have been able to turn into professional wedding albums for our family members on our own. Cliff's photos really captured the joy and energy of our wedding day and I will always treasure them.

Cliff was an excellent choice. My wife and I put together our wedding in a little over 3 months on a very tight budget. Cliff was able to give us a package we could afford and was more than willing to work with us on our timeline to make sure that our wedding ran smoothly. He was an incredible source of knowledge not just about photography but event planning. He worked with our wedding coordinator to ensure that on the wedding day everyone was on the same page and everything ran smoothly. He met with us several times beforehand to showcase his work, discuss special shots, and to scout out the venue and select the best locations for pictures. On the day of the wedding he was practically invisible. When our pictures arrived, my wife and I were pleased to see that he had captured so many quality shots and the feelings of the day. I couldn't have found a better, easier to work with photographer.

Cliff was great to work with. He took all of the pictures that I asked him to and then had great creative ideas for additional pictures. He was very helpful with direction as well and definitely made things run more smoothly. I would recommend him to anyone!

My son, Jason, and daughter in-law, Erin were married on March 20-2010 at the Charlotte City Club. Cliff Nichols was our photographer of choice for the following reasons. He started his assignment approx. (1) year prior to the wedding. He helped me out with his wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts within the wedding industry. Cliff answered any and all questions that my family had and explained the process so effectively and in detail that all worries were put to rest. On the day of the wedding Cliff showed up several hours early and met with the Managers and staff members at the venue and assured us that everyone was on the same page. He later met with the MC/DJ and the Minister to coordinate the seemless transition from Religous Ceremony to Celebration so that he could memorialize the moments on film. He worked all day photographing the Bridal Party both inside the Venue and outside on the beautiful streets and sidewalks of Charlotte, N.C. Many photographers depend on staged photographs to make up a majority of their portfolio. Cliff uses a blend which also includes the natural and real responses of people enjoying themselves at one of the most important events of your lifetime. Jason and Erins wedding went into overtime and it was no surprise to me that Cliff Nichols hung in there until the very last minute. This was literally a twelve (12) hour day for Cliff. The post wedding communication between Jason and Cliff were minimal due to Cliffs professional work ethics. He advised us of the progress and set an approximate date for the completion and delivery of the finished product. His date of completion was earlier than predicted. I have recently contracted "Cliff Nichols Photography" for my second sons wedding in May 2012. This will give me and my children, piece of mind, and allow us to concentrate on other aspects of the wedding planning.

Cliff was everything I could have asked for in a photographer. He met with my husband and I a year before we were married to go over our ideas. He followed up with us many times through out the year to let us know that he was excited to photogragh our wedding. He also gave me great referrals for a minister and music. My husband and I got married at the Charlotte City Club and Cliff knew the venue very well. He knew where to get really good photographs inside and outside. He has a very strong work ethic. He made a point to not miss any moments of our ceremony or reception. He even got up on chairs to get some really great shots of our family dancing. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Not only is he extremely professional and punctual, he is an all around great person. He gets along with any type of personality. I would highly recommend Cliff for any bride who is about to have one of the most special days of her life..he will truly capture the moment for you!

My wife and I conducted a fairly exhaustive search of wedding photographers in the Charlotte area for our wedding and after a few other interviews we picked Cliff to do our wedding right after we met with him. In picking a photographer we were most concerned about finding someone who was going to be in the right places at the right times to capture the event, with Cliff we got that at more. We ran across several photographers who were equally qualified in portrait photography, but felt others portfolios missed the feeling of the event as a whole. This was one of the many expectations that Cliff not only met but exceeded. One of our other wishes was to find a photographer willing to release the digital images to us right away for a reasonable price. Many photographers will not even consider this and most that do want unrealistic prices for the option. Cliff provided a packaged for us that included the digital negatives for a very reasonable price. For the competitive prices Cliff offers for his work, his professionalism and quality of work surpass those charging a lot more. You cannot go wrong working with Cliff.

I would most definitely recommend Cliff Nichols as your photographer for your special day, hands down! My husband and I had Cliff take our engagement photos and our wedding day photos and we couldn't be more pleased! Cliff was wonderful to work with. Even during our engagement shoot, I was surprised at how many photos we had to choose from! His professionalism is unmatched and Cliff goes that extra mile that most would not. He stayed to make sure we got all of the pictures we wanted & our guests even commented on how impressed they were that he stayed when most photographers would have left. He was upfront and honest and we appreciated all of his professional recommendations. His creativity and photography skills will no doubt give you pictures that will capture all the special moments of your wedding day. It was so fun and exciting to look through our wedding album and see all of the moments of that day captured so beautifully, both formals and candids.
