Jason and Jae of Cloud 9 were great!! They are super friendly and so easy going that it was as if we'd been friends for years! They shot our concept video (which was HILARIOUS) and managed to make us look great instead of cheesy and awkward despite our lack of acting experience. For our wedding day, they showed up with all the coolest and newest photography toys and shot our wedding as though it was a high budget movie! We had the best time with them and would definately work with them again and again.

When we first started to plan for our wedding we knew that we wanted a videographer because it's the only thing (aside from photography) that you can look back on years from now and still remember that special day. But the question was which videographer should we use? I did a lot of research and read numerous reviews and didn't really see any work that caught my attention. Until our photographer recommended Cloud 9. We made an appt and met with Jason Kim at his studio. He showed us his work and that's what really WOW'd us... Cloud 9's work was one of a kind and it wasn't boring. We chatted with Jason for a bit just to get to know him to see if we connected and he was such a sweet guy and we could tell he had a lot of passion for what he does.

We had a concept video made, it took all day but it was a lot of fun! Jason Kim and Jae came up with the storyline and we just followed their directing. We showed it at our wedding and got a lot of compliments from our guests.

My wife and I got married in September of 2010. We feel very fortunate that we decided to go with Cloud 9 Cinematography for videography. Jason and his crew were amazing. They are very hard working crew. The two videographers for the wedding did an amazing job capturing the special moments. The video has been also shown to families and we get so many compliment of how stunning it is. Not only did they capture different emotions during the wedding and reception, but it tells a story. Jason Kim at Cloud9 Cinematography in Los Angeles is the best! My husband, my family and friends continue to watch his video that he did for us over and over again. He did such a great job. Having a videographer at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made because we just keep enjoying the video clips, which bring a smile to our face. Jason is so humble and quiet, yet he is a master behind the camera and the editing table. He's so talented, and I'm so lucky that I found this secret gem. I'd use him again for any future video services I may have. Jason was also very flexible and willing to work hard to get as much footage as he needed. I would definitely recommend Jason to other couples.

Cloud 9 was an excellent vendor choice for our special day! We decided on a videographer at the last minute, primarily to document our wedding for those out-of-town relatives who couldn't make it to the wedding. It was a very good investment. Jason met with us to share his previous work. We appreciated his style of videography and his willingness to work with us. We were specific of not wanting the "music video" style nor did we want the "cheesy romantic style" either. Instead, we had a very tasteful documentation of our wedding. We're also glad we paid extra for HD. It made the result look even more professional. As for professionalism, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. During the wedding, I didn't even notice the cameras. We were still having a good time and all of that was captured, without being intrusive or making guests feel awkward by being filmed. This is a true sign how professional Jason and his staff were.

Cloud 9 Cinematography is an AMAZING team of folks who are professional, super creative, and hard working. I had the honor of working with them not too long ago and we had a blast capturing a beautiful wedding together. They were easy to work with and offered a lot of fun creative ideas. I would highly recommend them to my current and future clients. I would love to be able to work with them again and again in the near future because they simply fabulous!! Definitely check them out.
