Club Monte Carlo

I had my wedding at CMC last Friday, and it was wonderful! The food was super delicious, and hot, came right on time. The service and wait staff were really nice and friendly. The bar was filled with all different kinds of drinks, and I previously was worried because I heard they watered down drinks, but surprisingly they came out a little bit too strong. But, nobody complained, cause there's nothing wrong with that! Only thing I didnt like was the room was a tad bit hot, and we didn't get the problem resolved until the 2nd time we asked the manager. But, after we did, the room stayed cold and chilly rest of the night. Totally would reccomend this place to anyone!

This place is a joke!!! I booked my wedding here, everything was good. A day after I sent out over 400 invitations they called to tell me they "double booked" my wedding and I'd have to pick another date. After 2 days of fighting with these people they finally claimed everything was fine. My ceremony was to be in the monte Carlo room and the reception in the continental Victorian which is the largest room. The day I went to to set up they had my reception room set up on the monte carlo which is one of the smallest rooms. Which is NOT WHAT WAS ON MY CONTRACT and my ceremony in the basement. Who wants to get Married in a basement? This woman, Kelly, the owner, ruined my wedding. After she ruined and lied to me about everything n called me every name she could think of told me I wasn't welcome to get married there after how upset I was n my reaction to her mistakes. What? No mam!!!! On top of that it was on my contract NO SESEAME SEEDS OR MUSHROOMS due to severe allergies. N I had both on my food!! There was 4 events there the same night as mine and 3 of us got screwed. Ruth to rescue was even called. This place is a joke. If u want a nice wedding do not get married here. Kelly is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met with no compassion for people. Stuck her hands in my face n called me every name u can think of. I will be suing the crap out of this disgusting excuse for a reception hall to get back every penny I paid her cuz she did very illegal things. DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE OR USE THIS HALL!!!

I just had my wedding there Feb, 5th. The food was good, and most of the staff were good. I was upset with the way the head table was put together. It was duck taped. Well needless to say it didn't hold up! The Best Man went to stand up and over the table went. My bouguet was cought on fire from the candles on the table, and all the glasses broke!! The manager never even said he was sorry. Infact he was very rude. Then he told his wait staff to just duck tape it again. They didn't clean the glass very good because an hour later some left over glass went right through someones shoe. After I waited 20 mins to see the manager his first question was "why was she walking around with no shoes on?" She did have her shoes, but the glass went right through and into her foot. I have been calling ever since my wedding and the hall will not call me back. I would think twice before you book anything at this hall!!!

Monte Carlo was an amazing venue. The food was very good, and the wait staff was responsive to my special requests. George, the owner, bent over backwards to make sure our reception was perfect, going so far as to check on us half way thru to make sure the temperature was ok in the room. Excellent. I would recommend to anyone.

I was very impressed with CMC. They were very professional and very quick to respond to our needs through the planning process. They really were great at walking us through the planning process and had a great group of vendors they were able to recommend to us.
Their value was unbeatable. The bar package, especially, was much better than other reception venues in the area for the same price.
The day of the wedding they were great making sure everything went smoothly and that the room was set up beautifully.

We booked with them 2 years prior and they helped us every step of the way. The night of the reception, the owner was in the kitchen cooking, you don't see that very often.

I used this revenue for my shower and reception. Olivia was an absolute sweetheart. I really think she keeps that place together. This venue is cheaper than some you will see out there, but beware of a few things. Make sure you get everything in writing. They tried to change a few things at the last minute, but for the most part, was accommodating.

The shower went well. Overall, the reception was ok, but I had some complaints. As far as the reception, there was supposed to be two bartenders, but ended up being one. Thus, there were lines at times. The alcohol available is hidden. So, people don't know what they can chose from.

I had a lot of complaints after the fact about the bartender. My husband & I got the same feeling. He clearly didn't want to be there and barely put any alcohol in the drinks. Less alcohol = less people on the dance floor. The bartender got upset w/ our best man b/c he asked for shots. He said "shots were not allowed." Now, if it's an open bar, what difference does it make??? They put the beer in really small glasses. Thus, people got frustrated b/c they kept having to go back up. The bartender didn't use my customized bar napkins, so they didn't get used. In reference to the staff, the only complaint I got from alot of people is that they took the food and glasses too fast from the table. My father asked for coffee and they took it a couple minutes after it was on the table before he even got to drink it. If you use the downstairs room, be aware the room doesn't allow even distribution of the music. Thus, people at the far ends of the room couldn't hear the music as much. You also have to set up the entire room the day before the wedding, other than the silverware/plates.

People said the food was good. I'm glad b/c the beef plate I got had fat all over it. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. If you use them, just make sure you cover the aforementioned in your discussions w/them.

They have been very helpful. Answering any questions we have and if someone didn't know the answer they got back to you as soon as possible.

we kept hearing things about the cold food so we were very nervous but everything worked out beautifully!

I was very happy with the service I received from the Club Monte Carlo. We had good food and good service. The price was very reasonable too. We also had our ceremony there as well (located in a different room than our reception). Ask for Kelly (one of the owner's) or Heather or Olivia.

This Venue will tell you everything you want to hear when you book. Then your special day comes and things are not as promised or contracted. For a July wedding, they kept coming in and turning the air off. To the point that the cake was melting. We would turn it back up and they would come in and turn it back down. By contract we were supposed to have 3 different brands of draft beer. We arrive and they only have one kind, none of which we asked for. They blamed their delivery guy. About the heat when we complained, they blamed the candles we had on the tables. The food was good, but everyone remembers the wedding by the heat and the crappy beer selection. No one wanted to dance for we were already sweating without even moving. This vendor picked the wrong places to try to cut corners.

Very nice and accomodating.

Overall, good. Variety of rooms to accomodate small to very large weddings. If you have relatives or older guests who can't do stairs, beware! The elevator was a tiny cage that gets hoisted up a pulley into through the kitchen! I'm still having visions of sticking Grandma in there--not so good! The food was good at my wedding; although I've been to several weddings there were it was so-so, and kind of cold. Not as flexible with special requests--midnight snacks for guests, ice cream, etc.

I can't say enough good about this place. The wait staff was wonderful. The food was fabulous! They were more than happy to work with me and make this a very special day.
