Select Receptions by CNY Select DJs

I knew the most important thing about my big day (other than marrying my husband) was not the dress or the flowers, it was the Music! My two big passions are music and dance so finding the right DJ seemed like a huge decision. I did not want the line dances or the same music you hear at every wedding. I wanted music that I loved to dance too. CNY Select DJs gave me exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford. Not only that but I had mentioned to the DJ that my new sister-in-law had made our wedding cake and he remembered and said a thank you on our behalf over the mic that was just perfect when he introduced the cake cutting. He also got there early and had music playing even though our guests were not supposed to arrive for another hour and a half. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You CNY Select DJs!!

Kirk was very helpful in planning our ground breaking same sex wedding,and reception. with a great blend of personal and professionalism. he did a wonderful job helping us plan the flow of our wedding. and was very accommodating in providing the music we requested. No matter how obscure the artiest was

CNY Select did a phenomenal job on our reception. The music was everything we'd hoped for, the online planning tools made it easy and fun and they kept everyone dancing all night. Our wedding and reception were outdoors and their lights lit up our tent very cool. Everyone was impressed. I'd definitely recommend CNY Select again!

I was very happy with our reception. After watching a friends video of our introductions, I can say with confidence that ours were absolutely the best I've ever seen at a wedding ever, and it was MINE!! The presentation in every way was professional and top notch. We saved a fair amount of money going with cny select over another service and I believe we actually had a better reception.

Cny select Djs did a great job on our wedding. We had another dj already lined up who CANCELLED (unbelievable) and we were scrambling, but glad cny select had our date available! Such a different experience from the dj who backed out. We planned the entire wedding from out of town and Kurt was very helpful. We had complete control over our music and picked a ton of songs through our client account on the website. We were married outside on the golf course, with our reception at the Greenview country club. Relatives commented about how great the sound was for our ceremony and were impressed they could actually hear our vows. I would not change a thing. They were very professional at
all times and I'd have no worries recommending them for anything.

Kirk did our wedding at Celebrations in Ithaca and did a phenomenal job. The dance floor was packed all night. He politely declined requests for the electric slide and stayed away from the cheesy wedding tunes we didn't want. His announcing was professional and personable.

Responsiveness- 4.5 stars only because I requested a song and it took 2 songs to get it on. I feel if the bride makes a request, you should drop everything and play it immediately right?

We were pleased well beyond our expectations with the service received from cny select. He took care to listen to us, and even requested details we hadn't considered. I was hoping to spend a little less, but overall I wouldnt change a thing. I've been to weddings that clear out soon after the cake is cut, but ours turned into a wicked party and we ended up actually going 5 hours instead of 4! Kirk included the extra hour free of charge. Thanks again!
