I recently had my wedding at Coachmen's and I must say that my husband and I were thoroughly impressed with their service. If you want an over the top fancy, stuffy wedding, this place is probably not for you. If you aren't a bridezilla and are looking for a nice outside wedding ceremony and a nice reception venue in one for an affordable price, you've come to the right place. All of the wedding staff were very professional. Michelle, the wedding coordinator, was a delight to work with and really helped us in figuring out what we wanted to accomplish. She even gave us a $100 gift card to come back for our anniversary or whenever we please. The grounds are perfect for what we wanted and they set up everything how we had asked them to prior to the event. Michelle even offered to arrange our centerpieces the way I wanted because she knew I was doing the flowers myself. I ended up putting them together two days before but it was really nice for her to offer. The food was great and every single one of our guests had a blast.
We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before outside in their patio area. There was live music and they set up a long table for our party to the side. It was a wonderful night and the waitress was great.
The only problem we encountered was that it was sometimes difficult to get in touch with Michelle with questions about wedding planning but this is partially because Coachmen's doesn't open until about 4pm on most days and also that she is the main wedding coordinator for all events.
All in all, I am so happy we decided to go with this venue for our wedding. In a sea of unnecessarily overpriced wedding locales, this place was a breath of fresh air. We had the best night of our lives here and I don't regret the decision one bit!

The Coachmens is Gorgeous. The landscape was beautiful. The different rooms they had available to rent were spacious and very pretty. Their attention to detail really made the difference. Their event coordinator Noel is amazing. Not only did he help run the wedding. He would run around and get us all drinks and had stations waitingfor us after the ceremony with food and water. He also helped keep the kiddies entertained and made sure everything went according to plan without a hitch. He did such a wonderful job and the Coachmens venue is just plain gorgeous and for the price there is no where else near the area that can compare. My husband and I had to pay for
Everything ourselves and we have 4 children of our own so it was quite a small budget but they worked with us and it was the best day I could ever hope
For.

I had my wedding at Coachmen's on 9/10/11, and it was BEAUTIFUL! We had our ceremony out back by the gazebo. The flowers that were planted were enough for decoration, but I added 6 shepherd hooks with pomanders going down the aisle for a little something extra.
The cocktail hour was held outside at the tiki hut which I loved. I bought buckets and had some beer available on the bar for our guests. Also had some sangria served as well.
The grounds are beautiful so we did our photos on site. It's convenient not having to go elsewhere for pictures. Plus our guests could see us from the tiki area.
We had our reception upstairs in the Wheelock Room. We had 171 guests, and it was a little snug but we fit. I had a photobooth which fit perfectly on the stage area, and the DJ was located just inside the door near the bar. Great set up. I like the decor of this room better than the four seasons room which is why I chose it. It still needed a little something though so I hired Gina from Gina's Flowers (the vendor Coachmen's uses) to decorate. I had ivory chair covers and light gold sashes, as well as Christmas lights hanging underneath the head table and cake table. SO PRETTY! I highly recommend decorating the room - it makes such a difference.
We did the family style option for the meal with chicken, roast beef, and stuffed sole. It was all so delicious. Our guests were happy with the food as well.
Noel was excellent to work with. He paid attention when I went over all the details and how I wanted to room set up - even took notes. Michelle was great as well, but a couple of times we had appt.'s and she was either late or didn't show up at all. Other than that though she was really helpful.
I highly recommend Coachmen's for your big day. It's a beautiful place with delicious food. I had an amazing day and if I had to do it over, I would get married there again. :)

The Coachmen's Lodge is a beautiful and affordable spot to have a wedding! The day of my wedding it had rained before we got there and the place put down sheets so we could take pictures outside without getting our shoes and dresses muddy. The food was fantastic...I am very picky and I always think food at weddings taste awful so that was a big thing of mine...to find good food and it was delicious everyone loved it! They set up the centerpieces and everything else we sent over exactly like we wanted it! It was an amazing day and I would recomend anone getting married in Massachusetts to check them out!!

Amazing venue - beautiful!! Peak wedding season there are many more weddings planned so it may not be as relaxing as my wedding, but getting married off peak season gave us so many more options, availability and affordability! Would definitely recommend!
