We had Coastal Entertainment & Event Services work our annual Holiday Party and if it weren't for the lighting and music....it would have been just another, hohum event....Our DJ Nicholas was fantastic, so easy and nice to work with...he understands how to please a crowd and inspire people to get on the dance floor- without interfering in the party or being intrusive. Coastal Entertainment has a very good aptitude for reading people and timing....and certainly understands customer service! We have already contracted him for our next 2 events, so please don't just think of them as just a Wedding DJ....they are great for all occasions and age groups!!! F&B in SB

Nicholas was a fabulous DJ and did a wonderful job with the sound for the ceremony as well as setting up the lighting for our reception. He was a pleasure to work with and kept our dance floor packed all night! He even played another song after the "last song" when our guests wanted more. Thanks, Nicholas!!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Nicholas! He completely exceeded our expectations and we set our expectations high! Nicholas was very good about communicating with me before the wedding and he listened to our every request. After the wedding our family was raving about the variety of music that was played and how Nicholas kept the dance floor packed the entire night. My aunt told me that she'd requested "Brickhouse", but it never got played. I told her that was because it was on our DO NOT play list, so more kuddos to Nick for listening to our requests! He even stayed 1.5 hours longer than we'd originally booked him for and he didn't hesitate for a second to say YES! Nick is phenomenal at mc'ing. He's super professional, energetic, and only uses the mic when necessary...he's not your typical cheesy DJ. Thank you Nicholas for contributing to our magical night. It was absolutely flawless!

Nick was extremely intuitive and was able to read the crowd perfectly. He kept the party going all night, we even had to extend our reception because no one wanted to leave the dance floor! He was very helpful leading up to the Wedding Day and provided us with a wonderful experience on our special day.

My husband and I certainly made the right choice by booking Coastal Entertainment for our wedding. They handled everything for us, including the ceremony and cocktail hour music. We had an extensive lists of songs to be played, and of course songs like the Macarena and YMCA that we refused to have played. They did a great job making sure the vibe was just right for the night, and everyone had such a great time. The music definitely plays a huge role in how well the evening will go, and with the wrong DJ you could have a disasterous wedding. We highly recommend Coastal Entertainment for your wedding!!

Nicholas Mehdi, DJ did a good job of starting the dancing and getting the party going, kept most of our guests on the dance floor the whole night...Everyone had a good time and helped in making our wedding lively and one we wouldn't forget!

I am using Coastal Entertainment Group for my wedding in Malibu this November. They have been very helpful in helping me choose the perfect music for my event, and have been working with my wedding coordinator to make sure all announcements and details are worked out. I am SO excited for the "Big Day" to actually be here. I will post some more after the wedding......

Nick was a truly great DJ! I gave him a list of must plays and he stuck to it perfectly - mixing the songs together to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. Our wedding ended at 11pm and the dance floor was packed the entire time. He also did a great job mic'ing the ceremony. Thanks Nick

Coastal Entertainment: Rating 10!! My husband and I were very impressed with our DJ services. They went above and beyond to provide us with exactly what we wanted. We had a somewhat complex wedding (2 ceremonies, a cocktail hour and then the reception) and live in San Francisco. They took the time to consult with us and understand the process/timing of our ceremony and absolutely nailed it! They also took the time to really know our music preferences and were thrilled with both the cocktail and reception music. They always immediately returned our emails/calls, answered any questions we had, and walked us through the process patiently. Our DJ, Nick even came to the Country Club the day before to make sure his DJ set up in all 3 rooms was appropriate! I would highly recommend Coastal Entertainment Group.

My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of this entertainment company. From day one they were extremely helpful in helping us pick our music, going over pricing and setup as well as helping us put together a timeline for the big day. They kept in touch with us over the months and weeks leading up to our June 6 wedding. They made sure they knew exactly what we wanted to be played and what music was totally not to be played (ie the Macarena, YMCA, the Chicken Dance, Electric Slide). Nick understood the themes that we requested for each part of our wedding day. The ceremony through the reception had changes in music that flowed beautifully. Classical for the ceremony, to Motown for the cocktail hour, to old and new love songs for dinner music, to the dance floor which opened up to a wide variety of music (and he kept us as close to our timeline as possible). Everyone at our wedding commented on the music and how much they loved it and we never had an empty or almost empty dance floor. Nick at Coastal Entertainment is highly professional, wonderful to work with, knowlegable, flexible and has an extensive music library. We would work with him again and again!

Our vendors were simply amazing and would highly recommend them if you are in the planning stages or your wedding. They were definitely an all-star cast. Our DJ - Coastal Entertainment Group (Nicholas) was completely on the ball. Very-well organized and made things run smoothly at the wedding. Great playlist and knows his music. He kept the dance floor packed all night long and at the end of the reception, the guests did not want to leave - they wanted to keep dancing.
