We were absolutely in love with this venue, and we're so glad we got the chance to have our wedding here. We chose the Hall of Vision, which is a gorgeous room that needs little to no decor because the room speaks for itself. The location itself is also absolutely gorgeous. Hidden in the valley, you still get very picturesque views! You can't go wrong for the price. We were expecting it to cost a lot more than it did.
Jane Graham was our Coordinator and she was absolutely awesome to work with. She ensured we were well taken care of. She answered her e-mails promptly and professionally. We worked with the rest of the staff on the day of, and they were great too! However, they lost a few points because the cocktails tables were forgotten and not placed out. Otherwise, everything else went smoothly on the day of. They also lost a few points because they neglected to inform us they changed their linen policy and would no long order other linen colours except for white. I had been planning on black, and I'm so happy that it inadvertently came up in a conversation 2 months before the wedding; otherwise, I would have been scrounging to find black linens.
We would highly recommend the Cochrane RancheHouse!

This was my dream venue (for what you can get in the Calgary area). We had the Hall of Vision. It is completely made of bright wood and hardwood floors. Gorgeous! The fireplace was the perfect backdrop to the ceremony and the head table for the reception. It was easy to decorate because it is so beautiful already! I can't say enough good things about this place. The best thing about it is that you are outside of the city and the ranchehouse is in a secluded valley. Perfect for pictures! The staff was so pleasant and always responded quickly and pleasantly to emails/phone calls. They did their best to accommodate us. It was worth the money! The only thing you have to know is that they give you a choice of 6 caterers. We chose Pat's Palate Pleasers and we were VERY happy with them!
