I had planned to do lots of dress shopping and my mom happened to be in town so I decided to start with Collezione Fortuna Fashion Boutique since it was in my home town and I had heard she had great stuff. I was going to do another dress shopping day with my friends from out of town a couple weeks later. I made an appointment with Cathy and went in. She even came in on one of her days off just for me because I have a very busy schedule. When I got there I gave her ideas of what I was looking for and she helped me go through some of the dresses and had me try them on. I loved every one I tried on and when I got to the fourth one I knew it was THE one! She took pictures for me and made it a great experience for me. I bought my dress that day and I was actually allowed to walk out with the dress since it was a one of a kind! I thought this was unreal because I was always told it takes 6-8 months for a dress to be ordered and shipped! But that day I walked out one happy bride-to-be! The owner is very prompt and gets back to you right away when you have question about anything! Thank you for all your help and I look forward to doing business with you in the future!

My experience in dealing with Cathy and her staff was excellent. Her prices were very reasonable and she had good selection. She was helpful and very easy to work with, she even offered to meet with me on her day off. I would highly recommend her bridal/dress shop to my friends and family.

The owner of this shop is who assisted me, she wouldn't let me try on dresses unless I paid a $50 appointment fee, which I did because she had the specific dress I wanted, however, the $50 was applied to the dress I ended up buying. Her customer service is a little lacking, but overall, not a bad experience, just not a great one.

We appreciate your feedback. It was my day off when I met with you. I did not mind at all meeting with you at all and accomdate your need for an immediate rush for the purchase of your dress . The appointment fee was explained in detail and this did not appear to be an issue when you booked your appointment, otherwise, I believe you would have mentioned this to me. There was never any indication you were unhappy about our services, and we apologize if this was the case. You did mention you had contacted several stores in the area as there was interest in a particular dress and we were the only ones to return your call. You were appreciative of our promptness in doing so and opening the store for you personally on that day, as that was the only day you had available to shop and we wanted to help you. We gave a 10% discount off the dress, as it was our only sample, just arrived, and was graciously accepted. The dress was packed carefully in a garment bag wrapped in layers of tissue at your inspection and satisfaction, as it was going to be shipped to your wedding destination. In view, we provided services to your satisfaction when you left the store and your experience with us appeared to be a positive one and you were very gracious. Collezione Fortuna fashion boutique has the best selection for bridal gowns and all bridal needs. Cathy, the owner is very helpful and does offer a lot of wonderful suggestions on how to achieve your one of a kind bridal image. I am a hair and makeup artist and have sent a lot if brides over to Cathy for their bridal purchases for their special day and they have alway been very happy with what she has to offer! Attentive Customer Service!
Cathy is a pleasure to work with and has a great selection to choose from in her boutique salon. I know some brides would be intimidated shopping for their wedding gown in Carmel-by-the-Sea but Cathy's salon is cute, welcoming and unpretentious. And their price points are in line with most salons in the Bay Area. There is an advantage to workign with a boutique salon and that is that whenever you need anything, you will more than likely be assisted by the owner herself. She loves helping the bride find her dream gown and it shows.
