We had an amazing reception at Colonial Terrace with rave reviews from all guests! Leon customized the wedding to our style exactly. Colonial Terrace is extremely flexible and will work with you to create the wedding you have always wanted. Their team worked with us to create a lively reception that had the guests on the dance floor the whole time. After the wedding guests could not stop telling us how much fun they had. They also loved the personal touches we added to the reception, such as family pictures and appetizers that the bride and groom picked out. The food was outstanding. Leon and his team have years of catering and event hosting experience and can make any type of appetizer you would like and our guests said that everything was delicious. The main ballroom is gorgeous and has a beautiful wooden dance floor and grand chandelier. It makes a great statement to guests when they first enter the reception. We had over 200 people and there was plenty of room for everyone on the dance floor. Many people told us it was the best reception they had ever been to, including my grandfather who has 10 married children! It was so nice to know that we had our dream wedding and that our guests loved it too. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outstanding and personalized wedding reception.

We absolutly love the way our wedding came out. Future brides you have to remeber that not everything goes as planned. That's what happend to us here, But besides that we had a wonderful time and all of our guest said that everything was beautiful and delicious. Leon was the best in giving us more then we ever asked for. I will definitly recomand the colonial terrace to anyone. My only advice is for you to make sure that the day of the wedding you go over final details with all your vendors. Make sure that your contract is exsecuted as it was sign and that you look at the rooms before you start your festivities. It will make things smoother. There are so many wonderful things that I wish to say about Colonial Terrace on behalf of my husband and myself that I don't even know where to begin! From the minute that we stepped into Colonial Terrace on our first visit to prospective reception sites, we pretty much knew right away that it was going to be "the one" for us. Leon invited us in with open arms and spent as long as we needed answering our questions, showing us the grounds, and going over multiple options for us to consider when planning our big day. Since we live 4 hours away, I was initially hesitant on how that would factor into planning our wedding. However, Leon was always available to answer our phone calls, and encouraged us to drop by whenever we were in town, whenever it was most convenient for us.

Our wedding day was everything that we dreamed of and more. Our guests were wowed from the minute they arrived. Having food stations (as opposed to passed hors d'oeuvres) was a total crowd pleaser! The amount and quality of the food was unbelievable. When we snuck inside to glimpse at the room before our guests went inside, it took our breath away. The room was arranged just the way we wanted it, and had an almost fairytale-like quality to it. The night went off without a hitch, and everyone told us what an amazing wedding it was. The dinner was extraordinarily good, and all the dessert options provided a nice change of pace from just the traditional wedding cake (highly recommend the ice cream sundaes and fried Oreos!) The party atmosphere was present from the moment that our bridal party was introduced to the time that the last guests exited at the end of the night.

We highly recommend the Mansion at Colonial Terrace to all couples! They will truly make your night one of a kind and make your wedding dreams come true!

We recently held our wedding at the Mansion, and everything was great. As others have stated, the food was amazing. We received numerous compliments on it! The cocktail hour had so much food - probably more than you will see at any other wedding. The cake is included in the price, and let me tell you it was delicious. It comes from the Scarsdale Pastry Shop. If you grew up in lower Westchester - you know those cakes are damn good!!

Oh and we had a dessert cart with lots of treats which everyone loved. Luckily, I was able to snag two fried oreos! Yum!

The value is incredible. You will not get a better deal in Westchester! (We checked out several places)

We had our wedding under the tent which turned out to be great since it was around 80 degrees. It is nice that there are options - inside, outside or outside under the tent.

If you are Jewish - they have a beautiful chuppah you can use. The grounds are very pretty for outdoor shots. Lots of green grass and beautiful trees.

The staff at the Mansion is great. It is a family run business and they know their stuff. They are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely call Leon today.

Where to begin!?… picking The Mansion at Colonial Terrace was the BEST decision we could have ever made!! As all the reviews have said before, Leon and Annie are two of the best people to work with while planning your event and since The Mansion is family owned, you deal directly with the owners about everything related to your wedding. From the first day we met with them we felt at home and we are so happy that they were a part of our special day!

For future Bride and Grooms shopping around for venues: You will be amazed at all the things Leon and Annie did for us and the overwhelming response we received from everyone who attended.

For the past 7 months, Leon and Annie met with us to discuss everything from the food selections, our décor selection, ceremony details… the list goes on and on. We had our tasting in March which was delicious and were encourage by Annie and Leon to stop by at anytime to plan or take pictures (they even spent countless hours with us picking out our theme!).

On the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch. It rained in the afternoon, but you wouldn’t know we were inside for the ceremony. Leon transformed the ballroom to look like an outside Wonderland, putting candles down the aisle, a beautiful Chuppa for us to stand under and a gorgeous lace aisle lining.

For cocktail hour, we had more food then you can imagine! We even had a Cigar Roller that everyone raved about (Leon and Annie’s idea!). The food was delicious and everyone was talking about the selection.

For Dinner, the food was incredible! The big ballroom fit 200+ people perfectly and we still had a huge dance floor to dance on. Dessert was amazing! Fried Oreo’s, wedding cake, ice cream sundae bar!!

Anyone who is thinking about getting married in Westchester or the Hudson Valley should absolutely stop by and speak with Annie and Leon. You will be glad you did!

I don’t even know where to begin. Our wedding was almost 8 months ago and people are still talking about it and that it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Words cannot describe how incredibly thankful we are to Leon, Alan, Sheila and Annie. Colonial Terrace was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding. We knew instantly that this was our place. Leon is seriously the best! He was like my own personal wedding planner! He went above and beyond for us and made the planning stress free. He had so many awesome ideas that made our wedding one of a kind! And it was. Our wedding day was more than we could have ever hoped for!

Colonial Terrace has the most beautiful grounds for pictures. Ours came out beautiful! The cocktail hour was unbelievable! There were food stations with SO much food! And of course everything was delicious! We were able to sneak a peak of the grand ballroom while everyone was at the cocktail hour and it was breathtaking! The room looked absolutely perfect! The room was able to fit 250+ very comfortably and the dance floor was still GIGANTIC! The dinner food was amazing as well. Then for dessert, we had our beautiful cake and dessert carts, which was an awesome alternative to a traditional Venetian Table. We even had an ice cream sundae bar!!! Our whole reception was honestly the most AMAZING party ever!!! There is not one single thing that we would change about our wedding day! We are forever grateful to Leon, Alan, Sheila and Annie for making our day absolutely perfect. I wish we could redo the entire day a million times over!!!! We will forever HIGHLY recommend The Mansion at Colonial Terrace to anyone and everyone looking for a perfect party!!

From the moment I walked into the Colonial Terrace I knew that it was exactly what I had been dreaming of for my wedding. We had a masquerade theme and Leon was totally into it from the beginning. He made everything that I wanted happen before I even knew I wanted it. The whole day was absolutely perfect and more beautiful than I could have ever hoped for. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride looking to have the greatest experience of their life. The food was fabulous, at least that's what all my guests have been telling me, I don't remember eating : ) The service was great, the room came out beautiful and it was an awesome party atmosphere from beginning to end. Everyone at Colonial Terrace was professional and very friendly. Working with Leon planning the reception for the past 10 months was calming and fun. He is great and we loved working with him. The evening went smoothly and everyone had an amazing time. Food was delicious and the room/cake looked absolutely beautiful. We could not have asked for anything more. I would recommend this venue to anyone for any event...they do a great job!

Would recommend Colonial Terrace to anyone looking to have an awesome wedding and stress free planning. Leon is laid back and promises you the world (and actually delivers). They are accommodating and allow you to drop off reception items at your convenience. We had the most amazing time, our guests haven't stopped talking about the food and the party ... I wish I could fit in this paragraph all that they did. Food was amazing, mansion looked fabulous and all the guests were taken care of.
They did a great job of rolling with the punches and seamlessly fixing any issues that jumped up before we even realized there was an issue. Everyone has told us we had the best wedding they have ever been to (including their own) and Leon and Annie deserve most of that credit ... simply amazing!

Choosing the Colonial Terrace as the site of our wedding reception was the best decision we could have ever made. Not only was the staff courteous and helpful, but they went out of their way to make sure that every detail was perfect and that we had to go to the least amount of trouble to do it. Not only did they open late one night so that we could drop off some of our table favors the week before the wedding, but they were also kind enough to escort us to the highway so that we wouldn’t get lost in the dark. They have genuinely kind and generous people running the Terrace. Furthermore, the hall looked absolutely fabulous, the kosher food that they set us up with was extravagantly delicious, and the planning process was next to painless because of the wisdom and helpfulness of the staff. They truly took our wedding and customized it to us, treating us like the King and Queen of the world. They even let us have the entire premises for the entire day of our wedding so that our caterer could make their kitchen kosher without any interference from another party. I could not have asked for a better party or better people to host it.

Leon, Mary and the entire staff at Colonial Terrace were great. Leon kept telling me not to worry about anything because my day would be perfect, and he was absolutely right. Everyone is still raving about my wedding, they loved the food and enjoyed the ambiance. Leon and his staff helped to give me the wedding of my dreams and I am forever grateful to them. Also, I wanted some traditional Caribbean food like rice and peas and jerk chicken and they did it well. My wedding was on June 25, 2011 - which was a little less than a month ago - and people are still RAVING about wedding. The Mansion at the Colonial Terrace is gorgeous and they really know how to throw an amazing party! The food was absolutely delicious, staff was so accomodating to each guests desires and the atmosphere was/is out of this world.

We had our wedding ceremony in the gardens which was beautiful! It couldn't of been more perfect!!! If you want an outdoor ceremony - this is the place to do it!

Our cocktail hour was under a big tent with several different stations and my guests (young and old) LOVED each selection - and the favorite station of them all (which was mine!) - the infamous mashed potato martini bar with all the toppings of bacon, cheddar cheese, gravy, onions - you name it you got it - in a martini glass!!

Reception - I don't know how to explain how AWESOME the reception was!!! We partied like rock stars and the grand ballroom was dressed to impress!!! The details that The Mansion included were breathtaking - they took so much time with making each table perfect down to the ribbon on the napkins! Like I said - its been almost one month since our wedding - and EVERYONE is still talking about what an amazing party The Mansion put together. Not many brides can say they enjoyed their wedding because of the stress that occurs on that day - but I enjoyed every single second! The Mansion makes you feel like royalty - if anything or anyone bothers the bride or groom - The Mansion takes care of it for you which leaves the newlyweds stress free for the whole night!!!

Honestly - I would not change a single thing from my wedding! It was absolutely perfect - my dream wedding came true - all because of The Mansion at the Colonial Terrace!

My high school prom was held at colonial terrace in 1996 (ok so I'm datING myself a bit) and when my husband and I began planning our wedding we knew the atmosphere we wanted for our Indian Summer wedding. After looking at quite a few local venues I remember CT and booked a viewing. After walking the grounds and viewing the ballrooms my husband, the less impulsive of the two of us - loved it immediately!

From the start of our wedding planning until the the day after the wedding Leon and his team were AMAZING! We had very specific requests (as most brides and grooms do) and the CT team bent over backwards to accommodate us - from amazing vendor recommendations to tailoring the menu to suit our guests' palattes. I was not at all worried about the quality of the service when we booked since I remember the prom being a hit and everyone enjoying the food - which is usually not the case. Fourteen years later for a more momentous occassion I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say bout Colonial Terrace!

Our wedding was a little over a month ago and we are still receiving compliments about the grounds, the service and of course the FOOD! Every thing we selected for the menu was absolutely DELICIOUS! Not ok for what it was - but DELISH! Two weeks before the wedding my mother fell ill and Leon was notified and took extra special care of her as needed on the day of making sure she experienced her daughter's wedding to the fullest despite being slightly under the weather. The sentiment behind that was invaluable.

If you are looking for a cookie cutter wedding where the only thing different about your wedding from the last hundred are the faces in the pictures - you can go anywhere if you are looking to see your wedding vision come to life and share your special day amongst family - book with Colonial Terrace!

I absolutely love Colonial Terrace. They know exactly what they are doing that makes a perfect wedding day. I took all of their advice and we had the most amazing wedding. With it almost being a year later, everyone keeps telling us how beautiful everything was. Their food was fantastic, the ballroom looked spectacular, and Leon was so nice to work with. Prior to the wedding we visited quite a few times to try the food, discuss decor, and general plans and Leon helped us every step of the way in a respectful and professional manner. Leon also contacted our vendors to make sure everything was to go smoothly. Thank you Colonial Terrace for granting us an unforgettable and perfect wedding day! Brides you will not be disappointed!!!

Leon and the whole Drogy family were terrific. When our venue fell through 12 weeks before the wedding, they were able to accommodate us in every way. No matter what we asked for, the answer was always, "Sure." Is there a place to change on site? Of course, for the whole wedding party, not just the bride and groom. Can you put tea lights on the tables? Of course, how many would you like? Can we use the tented patio and the other patio? Of course, you have the whole place.

The day dawned beautiful, and the crew worked wonderfully throughout--directing people, moving people, handing out all our favors, setting up and cleaning up invisibly. The day ended with Leon and his helpers lifting presents down the stairs for us and putting them into cars.

Everyone was helpful and cheerful and just a pleasure to work with. Top marks all around.

My family have used this venue in the past with no problem, 3 times other than my wedding. So it was much to my dismay that they failed to deliver on many promises, were careless with my personal items and flat out lied to us. They were very helpful throughout the planning process, promising anything I could dream up. They said we would have the entire place to ourselves... the party before ours ran late, which forced my pictures to begin late and my guests to see me before the wedding. Also they booked another party in the room outside of my ceremony. So, during the middle of my ceremony we heard loud talking and music coming from outside the doors. Because of this last minute booking, they moved my cocktail hour to a room I specifically said I didn't like. Also, I later found out that guests from the other party were enjoying my top shelf open bar. Classy! The worst thing that happened is that when I was unpacking all of the items we had brought for the wedding, I realized someone broke my grandmother's heirloom cake topper and didn't bother to tell me. They just packed it away for me discover without all of the pieces. So now I have an heirloom that is no longer useable. Real Nice! There were a lot of things that went wrong that evening, mainly a lot of over-promising and under-delivering. I have to say, the guests never new all of the bad things that were going on, and the food was great. I was of course devasted after the fact and made it through my wedding night truly happy.

The staff at Colonial Terrace bent over backwards to make our wedding run smoothly. We were even able to drag in boxes of flowers the night before to make centerpieces and one of the owners stayed late so we could finish! The food was FANTASTIC! We are STILL getting compliments on what a great reception it was!

Colonial Terrace was there every step of the way. I was a crazy bride toward the end. They calmed me down and assured me everything would work out. The wedding was beautiful and I would do it again in a heart beat. Jack was amazing, a true professional. I have nothing but the deepest respect and admiration for everything they did and had to put up with.

The thing I appreciated most about Colonial Terrace was their flexibility, my husband is military and his deployments made planning the wedding very hard. We had to keep rescheduling the date, Colonial Terrace was very gracious about this and worked with me until we had the final date ironed out. The day of wedding was very beautiful outside and the owner offered to have the wedding ceremony outside, this had not originally been planned, they set everything up quickly and we had an outdoor ceremony. This really added to the experience and was one of my best memories. People still comment on how lovely that day was.

Beautiful Estate on beautiful land. Perfect place to hold a wedding ceremony and reception. Colonial terrace has many different feels to it such as elegance, beauty, charm and is the perfect setting for themed events such as Gone with the Wind, 30's feel- Frank Sinatra (Rat Pack) theme, Colonial times. There are not too many places that can open the doors for you and let you explore. This is the perfect setting!
