Colony South Hotel and Conference Center

From my first meeting with Ellen to the actual wedding reception, I was very pleased and impressed with the level of service I received!! Ellen and the entire Sales and Banquet Staffs took excellent are of us and our guests. At every step along the way, from help with decorations and favors, to the reception menu tasting, Ellen walked me through the entire process. And, given the fact that I had only six months to plan my wedding, Ellen and the Colony South staff made this process stress free! The service was so personal, I felt as if we were the only guests and event in the hotel!! Our guests, most of whom had not had the pleasure of experiencing the hospitality of the Colony South, were also very impressed. The ballroom was exquisite and the food delicious!!!You helped make the dream of my wedding day a beautiful reality!! Thanks for everything!!!

The reception site was very convenient. Family and guests were able to stay there after the reception. The servers were very professional and attended to everyone's needs.

Beautiful venue! It was decorated just as we wanted, and fit all of our guests comfortably!

If I had it to do over again I would do it all the same. The people that I dealt with were always nice and accomodating. The reception itself went off without a hitch. So many of my guests came up to say what a great reception it was. The food was fabulous, and everything went smoothly.

Colony South definately has the best wedding packages in the metro area. Everything was included! We signed our contract two years in advance and they allowed us to lock in the price for a 2006 wedding at the 2004 price. The food was outstanding. And I loved the fact that since we did not have an event in front of us, we were able to have all morning to set up the room. The staff was very pleasant to work with. The catering staff needed a little bit of hand-holding but all in all we were very pleased with everything. We would definately recommend this vendor.

Ecellent cutomer service....My wedding was perfect. Hotel needs updating to decor etc...Spent $9000 for 128 guests (kids discounted) included chaircovers, sashes, no cocktails and brought in my own decor.

We had a very lovely experience with Colony South Hotel. The food was excellent as well as the service. Our sales person, Deana, was knowledgeable and willing to assist us.

We used Colony South for a number of our wedding services. I attended a Bridal Show there- we had a great time and the staff and service was excellent. Our ceremony and reception were both held at this site, as well. We were very happy with the location and the service. The food was also very good. The decoration is the standard, I didn’t care for it- so I hired my wedding planner to design the rooms. We rented chair covers from Colony South-- it fit the look I wanted beautifully. 


We reserved a hotel block for our guests at the hotel- the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

This was good location and just all round good place and experience to have a wedding.
