I had Olga for my October 27, 2012 wedding for makeup and hair. I had her services for two of my bridesmaids.
Everything was great and she finished everyone in time. I booked her in the spot day of the trial. Her prices are reasonable and she can work with you. She is a great artist and makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend Olga to any bride.

Olga, is an amazing hair stylist and make-up artist. She worked with me in creating the look for my destination wedding. She tried different colors and hair styles and even took pictures of it for me to take it to my destination wedding makeup girl.

Wow. I didn't know I could give half a star, but I can and am. Olga is nice, but NOT a professional. I should have known that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and for my May 2011 wedding, I should have paid more b/c at the end of the day, MY PHOTOGRAPHER fixed my hair b/c Olga couldn't. She did a decent job w/ my bridesmaids, but completely went off the reservation with me, the bride. I think she would be great for a prom or a night out on the town, but DEFINITELY DO NOT USE HER FOR YOUR WEDDING HAIR... unless you're a bridesmaid or a guest at a wedding. If you're the bride, you will be unhappy. I repeat: pay a little bit more for real quality at a salon or highly recommended stylist. I made the mistake of finding Olga thru Craigslist. NOT A GOOD WAY TO GO and I def learned my lesson. Beware.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING UPDATE posted on 9/6/11: Olga sent me a diatribe based on my poor review. Based on the length of her response, I think it's fair to say that the client does NOT come first when it comes to working with Olga. Again, be smart and read between the lines (and all these super positive reviews, which I do not believe to be independent reviews, since they vaguely sound all the same and were probably written by Olga and her friends): rather than apologize, Olga's response was defensive and angry -- is this really the type of hairdresser you want ON YOUR WEDDING DAY? There's enough stress going on that day, so I will reiterate my point: You get what you pay for and I REALLY made a big mistake by not paying more and getting someone of higher quality and skill. I really wish I had spent more money and hired someone else. If I knew then what I know now, I definitely would have paid 2 or 3 times more than what I negotiated with Olga b/c the stress was not worth her cheap price. Good luck.

In response to your 9/6/11 outline - I didn't think you would start again with this nonsense: All the reviews are real from clients. I can say what did YOU do with the response I wrote to you after your review that says first; OH WOW I DIDNT NOW I CAN IVE HALF A STAR .... I wrote a long book for you to read and others to see , what happened to it. Neither you or WW seems to know what happened to my long respnse. I will tell you I have everything in my computer.. Most likely I'm sure you erased it because you didn't want people to know anything do you? I dont tell my brides to give me all 5's at all. They do the review and choose what they feel they want to give me. Not everyone gives me 5's so I dont expect it. All the reviews show the brides love my work and service that I provide to them. Watch what you say about CHEAP, you DIDN"T want to pay 75.00/85.00 per person for hair and wanted to bring me down to 35.00 per person? No artist would go for that. Again, I found you on craigslist it was your ad that you were looking for a hairstylist. I have all the papers in my computer and all the emails that go back and forth how you wanted me to come down to 35.00 per person for hair until I came to a median amount. No one else would have given the time and day. So dont say you would've paid more when you were giving me a hard time. Lets not FORGET you asked me to give you ALL my clients information for clarifiction of my work and work habits??? This not a job interview. I had been to at least five makeup artists for my 2/25/11 wedding and was not satisfied until I met Olga. Olga was flexible with the date/time of makeup trial. When she arrived, she was well prepared with a plethora of supplies. I was nervous that she would not be able to handle ethnic hair-but she surprised me. She not only nailed the hairstyle I wanted from a photo I showed, she did it quickly!
I booked her on the spot for airbrush makeup and hair for my wedding. I'm sure every bride gets called beautiful on her special day, but the compliments from ALL were nonstop an heartfelt. I am so thankful Olga was part of my special day!

How to Apply Lipstick
Apply your lip liner first. Liner should be the same color or a shade slightly lighter than your main lip color -- never darker. Outline your natural lip line. Next, fill in your lips with your lip color. Using a lip brush will help your lipstick stay longer. Add gloss, if desired, and blot your lips with a tissue to remove excess color. Utilize your mirror, everytime, to avoid a rushed, clown-like look.
· Another Tip for Lasting Lip Color - Blot your lips after applying, lightly dust with pressed powder and reapply.
Eye Makeup – The Basics
Whether you're making up for a special event or just trying to improve on what's already there, there are three basic components in the eye makeup arsenal for you to get to grips with:
Mascara .
Use it to lengthen, curl, darken, separate – in fact, just about anything that can be done to eyelashes, mascara will do. There are hundreds of different brands on the market, all of which promise to do different things for your lashes, some more successfully than others. Finding a good mascara is well worth the time and effort. If your lashes are pale, short or just not curly enough for your liking, you'll be amazed at the difference a lick of mascara can make.
Shadow
Eye shadow comes in every shade imaginable, and a whole bunch of different textures, from liquid to glitter. While it's not an essential part of your daily "face", it can help add definition to the eyes, draw out your eye color, or even change your look completely.
Eyeliner
Like eye shadow, it adds definition to the eye, acting as a "frame" for the rest of your eye makeup. Wear it on the bottom lid to make your eyes stand out, or sweep along the top for a vampish, Briget Bardot look. You can also use it to darken and define your eyebrows, too. Eyeliner comes in pencil or liquid form, and there are even some brands manufacturing it in the form of a felt-tip pen!
In addition to these, you may also want to use some added extras such as under-eye concealer, false lashes or even eye "jewelry" in the shape of little crystals or other bits of bling that can be placed around the eye for a special night out. The three items highlighted above, however, are your basic eye makeup must-haves, and these are the three things you'll use most often when making up your face.
Eye Shadow Tips
For a very dramatic look, choose three shades of eye shadow. A base color, which will go on the eyelid, a slightly darker color to go in the eye socket to help define the eye, and a light color which you'll sweep upwards from socket to eyebrow.
Mascara Tips
When choosing your mascara, stick to the color closest to your natural lashes. So, brunettes will go for black or dark brown, while redheads and blondes may prefer a lighter brown. Mascara also comes in blue, but use this only as a fashion statement, not for everyday! If your lashes are thin and you'd like to make them thicker, close your eyes and dust them lightly with loose power before applying your mascara. It will make your lashes look thicker, and make your mascara last for longer.
Eyeliner Tips
Choose your eyeliner wisely. Whilst some women swear by the khol pencil, which is the most popular type of liner, others find liquid liner easier to use. Experiment with both until you find the one that's right for you.
Applying Blush
Applying blush takes some practice, so don't try to learn this technique when you are rushing off to work or school. Take some time in the evening or weekends to practice.
Apply blush last, after everything else is completed, including your eyes
Place a small amount of blush onto the brush and tap off any excess.
Smile, or suck in your cheeks and apply the blush to the apple of your cheek. Brush it up toward your hairline.
Use a circular motion or short vertical movements when you are applying blush.
Use a clean make-up sponge to blend in any edges.
Preview in the mirror when you're done to make sure all your makeup looks good.
The following tips help when you are applying blush:
If you have a full face, focus your blush near your hairline. If you have high cheekbones, apply the blush to in the center of your face.
Do not apply blush to the underside of your cheeks.
Blush should never go below the bottom of your nose or any closer than the iris of your eye. Applying blush high on the eyes can help your eyes to sparkle.
To go with a natural look, apply blush sparingly.
Brush a little amount of blush your forehead if you look very pale—right where the sun normally hits your face.
Toss any unused blush after six months to avoid bacterial infections.
How to Find the Correct Blush
You will want to select a blush that is close to the natural glow of your cheeks after exercise and you should keep your blush in the same color family as your lipstick. Of course, this isn't very helpful when you're staring at row after row of blush in the make-up store.
To find the perfect blush, you'll want to first start with your skin depth. If you have a darker skin, you can wear a darker blush like burgundy or wine shades. Lighter skin tones need to wear lighter blushes like pink or coral shades.
Next review your skin tone. If you have yellowish skin, you should wear cool colors like pink or plum. Olive skin tones should wear apricots or if you have a dark olive complexion, an orange. Neutral shades can wear anything, though rose and mauves are recommended. Blue skin tones (usually only seen in very dark skin) can wear reds or berries.
After chosing your shade, you'll want to look at the contrast of your hair against your skin. If you have dark hair and light skin, you'll need a more vivid blush. The closer your skin and hair color are to each other, the more neutral the color should be. If you are a redhead, use a very mellow shade of blush, like a peach so your cheeks do not compete with your hair.

For those who dont know to much about makeup. To make your eyeshadow, eyeliner and lipstick to stay on little longer. Apply moisturizer first. Always put on moisturizer. It's good to put on a moisturizer on your face to have the makeup set and and not only that since my face is sensitive without it and you put foundaiton directly you will tend to break out. It's always good for everyone to put on moisturizer to keep our face fresh. Let the moisturizer set. Take a makeup brush and apply powder lightly over eyes and lips blend it in. After a few seconds, apply your foundation and the rest of your makeup. That should set you for the night
