We had a tiered cupcake "cake" and it turned out beautifully! We chose three different cake flavors with three different fillings...all were a huge hit with our guests. The cake was decorated very professionally and was a very nice display at our reception. YUM!!

Beautiful Cake!!!! I communicated my idea of a cake with pictures, colors, favors, and Chocolate dipped strawberry Bride and Groom on top, over email. I gave them what i was looking for with words from over 1000 miles away in CA and they over exceded my expectations. The day of my wedding people were comming up to me and telling me how beautiful and yummy my caked looked, and i had'nt even seen it yet! When i walked in the room, the cake was BETTER then what i had pictured! I didnt even want to cut into it it looked so lovely, but after i did, I'm glad i did, it tasted as good as it looked. Besides "I do"" the cake was one of my favorite things about my wedding day!Thank You for such a Beautiful Cake!!

This review may be a little biased but oh well... Marci, you are AMAZING! Not only are you my aunt, but you are the best cake maker EVER! Our cake was PERFECT! And you even named the design after me! Thanks! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I absolutely LOVED our cake!

Her cupcakes we're very delicious, I think that was the best cupcake I ever had! The display was beautiful, she was friendly and professional. Her price was very reasonable. We were very happy with the results. I would recommend her highly!

This was one of our important things that we were willing to spend a bit more on. Marci does have many options for all budgets. We chose to have 5 different cakes including one small tiered cake with her mountain skyline design all with butter-cream frosting. All of her cakes received compliments from our guest but the mountain cake beat them all. Marci is not only at piping butter-cream in complicated designs but her cakes taste wonderful and she is willing to work with people who have food allergies!

Perfect from the start. I don’t know how else to explain this place. They take pride in everything they do and make everything exactly as you dream. Cake wasn’t our top priority as we knew very few people were going so we had a pretty simple cake but it looked so beautiful when it was done and tasted even better. Every cake I tried from their tasting all the way to my final cake was very moist. Their flavors are wonderful and some are things you would never imagine but are great.

Colorado Rose Cake Company made my three tier wedding cake, as well as cream cheese mints for my June wedding. I couldn't have asked for better service. I wanted diamond ring cream cheese mints, and Marci went out of her way to find and order a specific mold. Then when that didn't work out, Marci had the mold specifically made. The cake was beautiful and everyone told us how wonderful it tasted. I would highly recommend Colorado Rose Cake Company for your wedding cake or any bakery needs.

Marci at Colorado Rose Cake Company made our perfect wedding cake. We only needed a small cake for about 40 people. She made our small cake have a life of its own and just stood out, all by itself. Not in a million years would I think we would have a pumpkin flavored wedding cake. It was by far the best flavor! We also had amaretto cake with raspberry filling. It was also so divine. Marci also incorporated the snowflake stamp design we used for our invites onto our cake. It was so neat!

Amazingly delicious and beautiful cakes. The desserts are great too and very helpful to work with your own vision, no matter how elaborate it might be!

Amazing!!!! I was so impressed with the presentation and taste, we probably won't last an entire year before we eat the top!

Marci did a SPECTACULAR job on our cake! It was meticulously and beautifully designed, and it was truly the best cake I have EVER eaten! And I've eaten alot of cake in my day! :)We looked at several different vendors and nobody even came close to her precise workmanship or quality of cake flavor.Would HIGHLY recommend - don't even bother shopping around just go with Colorado Rose Cake!

Would have loved to taste more cake options, but I realize how that would be more time-consuming. Service was great, the cake tasted excellent, and it looked beautiful. I can tell they take great effort in their cakes in how they look and taste. They were always quick to respond to email or phone questions, and were very open on the design of the cake and provided feedback on what would look good. Mixed your ideas with their expertise. Would very highly recommend them.

Marci provided us with a beautiful cake! She was so easy to work with. The tasting offered so many flavors and tons of photos. My husband and I went in having no idea what we wanted in a cake, and Marci helped us develop a vision - and the real thing ended up so much better than what we had imagined! It was gorgeous to look at (her mountain cakes are absolutely amazing) and so delicious. We received several compliments on the cake that night. Her prices are very reasonable, too. I used a very specific blue in our wedding and she requested a swatch from me to be sure she got the color just right. The cake was so good we couldn't bear to wrap the top up for our anniversary! We ate it for breakfast each morning the week after the wedding, and will probably get an anniversary cake from her next year. I would highly recommend Marci.

Marcy did an amazing cake for our wedding. Everything turned out great, my only complaint is the frosting color could have been a little bit darker. However the flavors were amazing and I loved the decoration!!

Amazing! Everything about our cake was great! We had a wedding in Estes Park, Colorado and wanted a mountain scene wedding. Marcy had the perfect cake to accomadate our wants. She made a mountain scene with the frosting and I could not imagine anything more perfect.

WOW! Colorado Rose is such a great little cake place. She is nestled into a beautiful area of Longmont, works from her house and the cakes are UNREAL!!! Our cake we designed from scratch turned out to be SO delicious, perfectly executed, amazingly presented, and it fed 100 people with just 1 of the 3 tiers...amazing! They are one of the best...thanks!!!

They are wonderful people, open minded, creative, and really know how to make cakes. We've tasted the cakes twice and they really are delicious. We had our consultation and the prices were very reasonable. Best of all - they deliver to Lionscrest Manor - most other bakers won't because of the windy, dirt road. I would give them a 5, but we haven't gotten married yet, so I'll have to see how the cake is on the big day.

Edit: 5 stars! The cake turned out AMAZING - designed exactly how I wanted and tasted great! We ordered chocolate covered strawberries at the last minute and Colorado Rose was very accommodating.

Our Cake was beautiful and soooo yummy!!! Marcy and Katie both were very helpful and fairly easy to get a hold of.

The cake was so beautiful and taste yummy too! All I did was describe what I wanted the cake to look like and they brought it to life. No need to worry here for the cake of your dreams, because you will get it.

We had a four tier cake with four different flavors to feed about 160. When we went in for our tasting they even went into their freezer to let us taste a filling flavor that we were really interested in. We were lucky to have our caterer save a slice from each layer for us because our guests made quick work of the cake! It tasted fabulous and we had many comments about how wonderful it was! If you want a beautiful, and tasty cake at a very reasonable cost Colorado Rose is the choice to make!

I really loved my wedding cake!!! As a matter of fact, the cake was one of the only things my fiance was really excited to pick out, and Marci made the entire experience a lot of fun! She was so kind and professional and she helped us narrow down our ridiculously wide variety of ideas to a cake that we both adored! It was beautiful, unique, and best of all, DELICIOUS! We were married in August, and by October my husband was already talking about how excited he was to order our first anniversary cake! They can make any style of cake, whether your want traditional, contemporary or just plain weird; and you won't have to break the bank!

Marci was incredible, our guests loved the range of flavors that we ordered for our cake. She worked with us on using our PEZ wedding ornament toppers. Our wedding was in Estes Park, we came up and met with her at the hotel to do sampling, it was easy to discuss ideas and to coordinate the perfect cake for our wedding. You can't go wrong contacting them. in the future I will be having them make an Anniversery cake, fate allow.

As with most of my vendors, I cannot say ENOUGH amazing things about Marci and the Colorado Rose Cake Company!

Not only was the cake fresh and delicious (many guests said it was the best cake they ever had at a wedding, I have to agree) but they are experts at working with butter cream.

I have guests and other vendors still asking how they got the icing so smooth and perfect. Our cake was a true work of art! We chose a very simple, 3 tier cake with brown ribbons, to which they added their own unique touch. She really picked up on our personal style and wedding decor, and made the cake fit in seamlessly with our vision.

Not to mention, she did this on the most inexpensive cake we could get for our guest count: that is a testament to a passionate and dedicated vendor; even the budget brides get 100% attention to detail.

When we first called to set up a consultation appointment they were able to fit us in their very busy schedule. The cakes were the best tasting and were exactly liked we wanted. It was definately worth paying a little more to have great tasting and looking cake.

We were really happy with our wedding cake. The cake itself tasted really good - much better than typical wedding cakes - and there were several flavors to choose from. We had a specific type of design in mind (including actual frosted pinecones), and Marci got it just right. We were very happy, and would certainly recommend her.

They did a wonderful job and the cake was delicious! Our guests were commenting on it for months about it being both beautiful and yummy. Thank you so much for making us a great wedding cake!

Best cake I have ever had, hands down...and I have been in 23 weddings and attended several more! They did an amazing job with the detail and everything came together even better than I could ever have imagined!

This cake company is owned and operated by a married couple that is amazing! They are willing to try new designs to make you cake special. They also let you create your own mixtures of flavors. Our wedding cake was white cake, raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting...it was AMAZING! Our other cake was a sheet cake that was chocolate chip cake with Bavarian cream filling and fudge frosting, sadly I did not get a taste of this one but I heard it was incredible!

Our wedding cake was by far the best cake I have ever had. And many of our guests said the same thing. We did our own design and it turned out perfect. Plus they were able to accomodate our wedding cake topper! My only issue was that they weren't the most friendly to deal with on the phone. Over email was ok... but telephone conversation was a little rushed.

Marci is great to work with! She made our wedding cake not only look amazing, but it tasted great. I was worried about the delivery since it was four tiers, but everything was perfect when it arrive at our reception. A+

Colorado Rose Cake Company is by far one of our favorite vendors. Not only are their cakes beautifully decorated, but delicious as well. The owner is pleasant and professional, and replies quickly to every request. If you go to a tasting, ask to try their butter pecan cake with the Bavarian crème filling – a wonderful and unique flavor combination!
