Reviews for Columbia Bridal Boutique
They were very patient and their seamstresses really listen to what you want. Very easy to get along with.
I purchased my bridal gown from the sale rack at Columbia bridal boutique! I found a dress that fit my personality at a reasonable price. During the selection and purchase of my gown the staff was very helpful. We also found a $200 dress for my maid of honor. She liked it, although they sized it a little big on her. The alterations I had done on my wedding gown cost almost as much as my dress, on the downside. Also, the results of the alterations were not as form fitting as I hoped. Upon reflection, I would have found someone who worked from their home and didn’t cost as much for the alterations services.
I loved Columbia Bridal Boutique because they had a whole rack of plus size sample dresses on the floor to try on, so I could actually try on the dresses myself and see how they looked on me. I wound up picking a dress where the sample was way too small for me and my sister had to model it for me, but the saleslady, Kathy, was still really helpful and discussed with me in depth how it would fit and how the alterations would work and whether or not the style would suit me. She was really nice and did not make me feel at all like I was too big to be shopping for a wedding dress the way some people do. Also, I found another salon who carried the same dress but didn't have it in stock who quoted me a price that was $200 less, and when I told Columbia Bridal Boutique about it they matched the price--so don't be afraid to call around for price comparisons and then ask them to match the lowest price you find.
When I ordered the dress (in late February), they told me the dress would arrive in June, and it did. I didn't have to make an appointment to pick it up--I just dropped by, they brought it out, and I tried it on. It was beautiful, exactly as described, and they were very nice and helpful. The salesclerk was a little confused about the veils and the price, and I had to wait quite a bit while they tried to figure stuff out about cost, and they also would not let me keep the bag the dress came in, saying I could have it after I got the dress altered--like it was collateral for having the alterations done by them and not elsewhere. But I loved my dress and appreciated their willingness to negotiate on the price.
I would definately recommend Columbia bridal boutique for wedding dresses. They offer a large collection of designers and the staff is extremely helpful.
