We are members at this church and everybody is so friendly and welcoming. We became members after meeting with our officiant. The location is easy to find, right off Highway 14. The sanctuary is astounding. The sound and lighting was amazing. The church has lovely doors at the front entrance as well as for the sanctuary. They made for a truly grand entrance for me on my walk down the aisle. They also had a large room for the bridal party and a separate room for the groomsmen. There are plenty of restrooms and easy access to every part of the church. Of course I’m going to say great things about this church because we’re members, but this church is truly an amazing place.
Pastor Bruce is a great man. He was the first person to welcome us to the church. We immediately felt at ease with him during our pre-marriage counseling meetings. It was a lot of fun getting to know him. He has a great sense of humor and had a lot of great advice for us. He knew exactly what he was doing at all times and we were never worried about how the ceremony would turn out. He was available for us whenever we needed and was very accommodating. He was open to any ideas we had and actually welcomed them.
Angie is Pastor Bruce Armstrong’s wife and she is fantastic. She helped me with everything. Every time I was worried about something not working, she was right there to fix it or to calm me down. She is so sweet and is full of wonderful ideas. She really made the whole process go smoothly. She is really organized and always on top of everything. She never pushed her ideas onto me, just gave friendly suggestions and gave me another point of view. It was a lot easier for me to think about the fun stuff, when I didn’t have to worry about the logistics of everything.
The reception area was large enough for 140 guests. There was 14 large round tables that sat 10 per table. There was enough room for people to walk around all the tables. They worked with us all the way through to make sure that everything was perfect and that everybody would fit in there comfortably. They even waxed the floors the night before to make sure everything looked just right. The kitchen is right off the side and there is another entrance easily accessibly to the catering truck outside. They had an easy time moving in and out. There were multiple restrooms on that floor and so it was great for everyone.
