We met Mark G. at one of the bridal shows I attended in Columbus. We automatically fell in love with his personality and wanted him as our DJ. He told us that we wanted him for his birthday, 11/11/11! He also ended up moving to Cinci and still drove up, ON HIS BIRTHDAY, to be our DJ in Columbus. What a man! He is a wonderful DJ. He's got the perfect announcer voice, great taste in music, and listened to what my husband's personal wishes. He really made our wedding reception perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better, friendlier DJ. Everyone came up to me afterwards and said how amazing he was. Columbus Pro DJs were great to work with. With their help planning my wedding music was easy. They were very willing to work with me to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it. DJ Greg M. did an awesome job. He was very professional and had a great voice! I would definitely recommend Greg and Columbus Pro DJs!

Our experience with Columbus Pro DJ's was excellent!! For our reception we had Ron and he was amazing!!!! The music selections were perfect and our guest had a fantastic time!!

Mike was awesome!! The DJ is such a big part of your wedding. I was really nervous booking a DJ and read all the reviews and still I was afraid...what if they don't get what we are wanting??? Our DJ was great all the way from the planning part (song selection suggestions) to the night of the event. Mark had people I never thought I would see dancing out on the dance floor. He played a great mix of music. I would highly recommend Col. Pro DJ for your event.

Great DJ. Kept everything going

Chris was great. He was very professional and organized. He was flexible with our schedule when we needed to be and he judged our crowd really well. I would suggest him to everyone. The communication with Columbus Pro DJs was always very timely and adequate. We are extremely happy and thankful for the wonderful service we received!

We were lacking on our end, our DJ took the ranes and put together a fantastic event. All of our guests had a great time as well as we did. Columbus Pro DJs comes with my highest recommendation.

Ron C. was awesome. He was in constant contact with me throughout the reception to make sure everything was going well. I have not seen a dance floor stay full all night long for a long time. The energy he brought was great and accommodated to our every need.

Columbus Pro DJs provided me with the best quality of service I could have asked for. Ron. C was a fabulous entertainer and was very flexible with my needs. Our location had several floors and he had no problem setting up more than one set of equipment, on time, and went out of his way to make sure my day was special.

Columbus Pro DJs really made our planning a breeze, which was incredibly helpful as a Cleveland resident planning a Columbus wedding. Two weeks prior to the wedding they really helped me outline the feeling we wanted the day to have. The music was everything we expected and our handful of suggested songs really portrayed our personality to our guests. The dance floor was packed the whole night but easily the best part of the night was when Jeff played ‘Piano Man’ and everyone circled up for a sing-a-long to a classic.

I have nothing to say but the BEST. Our DJ was so responsive to not only us, but our guests as well. The company too was on top of its game with reminders and phone calls. With the weeks leading up to the wedding when I felt like my head was spinning, this was one part of the wedding that I knew was secure. Plus, my guests LOVED the music choices! :)

My advice would be if you want your wedding to be as perfect as possible, make sure you choose professionals to work with. Our DJ was just that. He did more than play music but really helped the reception run smoothly. He also made sure to go over the kind of music we wanted ahead of time. I highly recommend these guys.

Absolutely the BEST WEDDING DJ SERVICE IN THE COLUMBUS AREA! We were lucky to see another one of their DJ's, Ron, at a friends wedding back in March. Though, her wedding had a different vibe and pace than ours you knew you were dealing with a true professional and he helped guide everything along with such ease. Now, On to our DJ..."Jermaine, YOU ROCKED!" He truly listened to what we explained was the vibe that we were going for and ran with it. Jermaine found creative ways to get our guest on the dance floor and having a good time. Listen to this part..."If I could have given him a 10 for professionalism and flexibility I would have." As the wedding progressed and many of our guest had gone home he paid close attention to the type of crowd that was left behind. He experimented with switching the music up to what worked for the present crowd and kept people dancing until the last song. Another thing that amazed me is how easily he transitioned into different parts of the wedding and how he was able to adapt. We actually lost the garter and he found a way of letting everyone know without dampening the mood. Those are qualities that you are only going to get out of a tenured DJ like Jermaine. He kept it classy when need be and knew when it was time to lighten the mood. I highly recommend that if you are going to hire someone for your WEDDING to push the house party DJ's to the side and go with these guys! You will find some cheaper DJ services out there, but I guarantee you that you won't find better quality for your dollar. Thank you so much CP DJ's and especially thank you Jermaine!

Made my reception a blast, everyone was dancing!

Working with Columbus Pro DJs was easy. The website interaction is great, and they are very responsive when trying to contact via email or phone. Mike was personable, professional and kept the party going. His dinner music selections were perfect, and he knew when to change up the music to suit the mood of the crowd. His appearance was perfect, his set-ups (he did both the wedding ceremony and the reception) were also neat and professional looking. He touched base with me a couple times throughout the evening, but really took care of everything, which was what I was looking for. I would not hesitate to recommend him or Columbus Pro DJs to anyone looking for entertainment.

DJ Mike was a true professional. He made introductions and contact with everyone he needed to know to move my night forward and paced my event precisely as we discussed prior to the reception. We didn't have to think of a thing because DJ Mike took care of everything. I wouldn't hesitate to use Columbus Pro DJ's or DJ Mike. He helped to make my reception the amazing event that it was!

The DJ did a great job and we were overall very happy with him! Very easy to talk to and seemed to have a good grasp on the type of music our crowd liked. However, with our 40s themed party, very few Frank Sinatra and era-appropriate songs were played during the reception. Regardless, the DJ did a good job playing the type of music that brought our guests on the dance floor. The only bad thing about the experience was that during our introductions, the DJ messed up the groom's name... I almost fell over with embarrassment, but it was okay because the DJ was a good MC and didn't stutter over the mishap. I would highly recommend the whole company! They did a great job listening to us and planning with us, considering that we had a long distance wedding. Very on point with following up with us and making sure we were happy. It was an amazing day and the DJ definitely made it a night to remember. Thanks Columbus Pro DJs!

Columbus Pro DJs were awesome!!!!! We booked them at the last minute and were a little concerned not not knowing much about them. They exceeded our expectations! Our DJ, Chris, was perfect. Prior to the wedding we filled out a form that asked specific questions: what type of music, certain songs we wanted, to what level we wanted the DJ to interact etc. He hit everything just perfect. In fact our guest did not want him to leave!

DJ Jermaine M did an excellant job at our wedding. We recieved several compliments from our guests and would refer him to other couples getting married.

Everything was great! He kept everything moving and he was always making sure we were ready to move on. He will do all the work to make sure you have a great day

Columbus Pro DJs was amazing and helped to make the night amazing! We never met before the wedding but you wouldnt have known it. He engaged us and the crowd like we were related!!

Very professional and experienced DJ company. Our DJ was Mike. We ended up supplying our own playlists (so can't comment on actual song choices), but DJ was very professional and MC'd activities and announcements throughout the night very well. Planning and event details were handled ahead of time very efficiently by Joe -- seemed experienced and professional. Not the cheapest option you can find in the area online, but competitive and did a great job. Would recommend.

Great DJ's but a little on the expensive side.

The business aspect of Columbus Pro DJ's, wowed me more than the actual DJ experience.
I recommended to the company owners that providing communication between the ACTUAL DJ and the client so that they can meet ahead of time, would be largely beneficial. I didn't even speak with our DJ until two days prior to the event and that was over the phone. This did not leave any time for the DJ to get to know us as a couple, nor us to get to know him.
I think that had we met beforehand it would have then helped with the music selection of the event. I read that brides/grooms should not give specific play lists to the DJ's because it impairs their ability to play music based on the flow of the evening. However, I did give a suggested list and a list of about 4 songs that were must plays. I asked that the DJ stick with the suggested list and if any other songs in those genres seemed like good fits, then to play them. I think that this in the end hurt us, there were several times through out the evening where nobody was dancing because of the song selection provided by the DJ. When I asked the DJ to cut the song even though it wasn't finished, I was told he would put something else on once the song was finished! This comment to me, as the bride, greatly effected his tip.
I felt that the DJ was good with the announcing of different events, but there was a time during dinner, where he should have noticed the lull and that people were done, eating and waiting around. At this point in time he should have started up the remaining formalities of the evening. It took my dad to say something to him, in order for the event to get going again.
In the end I would not recommend Columbus Pro DJs. I think the size of their company with about 12-15 DJs, greatly effects their ability to connect with their clients. I would instead recommend a company that only has a few DJ's, or a free-lance DJ instead. I'm all about personal connections and I did not feel one with the company nor my DJ.

Overall, Columbus Pro DJ's did an average job at our wedding. The actual company did a great job with lighting, set-up, etc. But our personal DJ, Mark F., ignored our concerns regarding music choices and tended to play what he thought people would dance to, rather than what we told him our guests would dance to, and the result was little dancing at our reception. We were pleased with the organization and coreography of the night, but dissapointed in music choices and volume.

Columbus Pro DJ's came recommended to me. However, I was highly disappointed with their services on my wedding day. The owner showed up to my rehearsal (I had the wedding at a separate location from my reception) and was very rude and uninvolved. He acted like a real jerk. The DJ at my reception was nice and pleasant, but did not play a lot of the songs I had told him I wanted to hear! After all, it was my wedding day! I would pick a different DJ if i could do it over.

We were overall disappointed with our experience. It was evident that our online planning and discussion over the phone were not taken into account in that our DJ did not have the correct information for our bridal party or the toasts that were to be done. Our DJ completely skipped over my dad's toast that he had been planning for months, and when told that the toast still needed to be done, he introduced my father by the wrong name (my father-in-law's).
When it came time for the first dance, guests were unaware because there was no announcement made. Our DJ did not have the song requested for the bouquet toss and continuously throughout the night told guests that he did not have the songs they were requesting. The music skipped and we were left with no music for a period of time. Mostly, we were disappointed that our guests could not hear the music they were requesting and we were told by more than one guest that the DJ was rude to them when they made a request.

I would not recommend Columbus Pro DJs to anyone. After having a DJ and Videographer set for months before our wedding, they changed both on us 3 separate times and were terrible about communicating this to us. Although our DJ and Videographer turned out to be fine, it was still a terrible experience not hearing back from them for many weeks at a time in regards to who would be working our wedding. It wasn't until the week before where we finally heard who would be working our wedding and then could not even meet with us before the wedding to go over things and had to just email.

Finally, our video took over 4 months to get to us as they continued to be inconsiderate on following up with us and informing us of when we would receive our dvd. Then when it came, 2 out of 3 copies were scratched and skipped throughout it and when we got through the whole dvd it was more comical than anything else since the quality looked like an 80's soft core porno and just was all around poorly done with the angles, limited interviews at the reception and lighting. Again, would very much not recommend these guys doing your event

When you request a SPECIFIC DJ make sure that is who you get b/c we got "stuck" with a DJ we DIDN'T want and it was awful...within 10 minutes of getting to the reception, over 1/2 of our guests left all because they said the DJ was really really bad!!!!

The staff at Columbus Pro DJs always provides top-notch professionalism to the clients they service. They are skilled at keeping receptions moving right along in an orderly and timely fashion. Not to mention, they keep the dance floor packed!

We have worked on many different occasions with Columbus Pro DJs and they are one of the top notch D.J. companies in Ohio. They have always been very professional, courteous, and along with great music, you will get a professional D.J./M.C. that can be understood over a microphone and is well organized to facilitate a smooth sequence of events for your reception or other event.

A great group! Andy is just fabulous and their entire team is experienced and professional. Any bride looking to hire a DJ should call Columbus Pro DJ's first!

I have had the pleasure to see the talented staff of DJ and Videographers, that Columbus Pro DJs has on staff, in action providing fun and memorable events for many of Central Ohio's brides and grooms. You won't find a better group of DJs and Videographers to pick from, at any price, than the ones from Columbus Pro DJs. AJ and his staff would be the DJ company I would use if I was getting married in Ohio.
