Continental Caterer

Continental Caterer was perfect for our wedding. SO many people said afterwards that the food was amazing (and we did actually eat so I can attest it was delicious) which is often not the case for a wedding. Yes we did pay more with this caterer but I have to say that paying more meant the food was much better and that mattered a lot to me that the food would be good. Who wants boring food or food that isn't going to be delicious?

Not only that but they really did a great job of taking care of us and all of our guests from giving us the appetizers we missed during cocktail hour to doing wine service during dinner. We loved the welcome drink station they set up so guests could have something as they waited for the ceremony to start.

We worked with Hristo exclusively and he was so great to answer all of my emails with questions and concerns. The staff that worked the event were incredibly courteous, kind and very personable.

We appreciated all of the little things they did like setting up the double buffet table so that the lines would move quickly (who wants to wait for food??), passing out ice cream for our dessert and what seemed like a flawless transition of tables and chairs ( but maybe I was distracted?). They definitely stuck to our timeline and made things go so smoothly. Many of the staff even told me that it was a beautiful set up - and for this bride - who had planned everything...it was nice to hear!

Wendy Kleckner was the caterer for our daughter's wedding. She made our daughter's wedding so special for all of us.

Especially, for being always kind and patient. For having all these wonderful great ideas that otherwise I wouldn't in a million years think about. Like the family pictures that I noticed people really liked. The wedding programs that she so kindly left in my mailbox and made a major difference to all our guests, Jews included, to understand what the "strange" things we were doing meant. For setting the place so beautifully. For taking care of every detail. For recommending the break of the dish with the groom's mom (which I really enjoyed) and......for recommending the BEST EVER menu for the dinner. And, the very long list of other things.

Hiring Continental Caterers was the best decision my fiance and I made about our wedding. From the beginning to the end they did an absolutely phenomenal job. As soon as you meet Paul and the rest of the staff, you know you are in good hands. They have a big office so they are always responsive whenever you call them, and their prices are very reasonable, but they treat each of their customers with much more individual attention than I would have expected from a big company. On the day of, my husband got to the wedding venue a little early and he described that he and the groomsmen watched "in awe" how quickly and efficiently the staff set up the reception site and made sure everything looked absolutely perfect. The food tasted just as good as it was at the tasting, and they did not charge us any cake cutting fee and let us bring our own alcohol and beverages to the wedding, which ended up saving us probably at least a thousand dollars if we had to get open bar from a different caterer. I really cannot recommend them more.

The food and service was just perfect Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions.He is extremely organized and very professional. I would definitely recommend Continental Caterer if you are looking for delicious all around menu.

Paul, Mike and the entire Continental Caterers staff was excellent at our wedding a few weeks ago. Paul was extremely detail oriented. From the linen choice to a guest's food allergies, he was completely on the ball. He was always willing to offer great input to help us put on a wedding all our guests would enjoy. Mike was very helpful the day of. He totally catered to my husband and I. He made sure that the schedule was followed and the guests were happy. Paul, Mike and the entire staff make a great team. Did I mention the taste of the food? It was incredible! In fact, three guests told me at the wedding that the Fatoush salad was the best salad they had every had. One person today said the salmon was the best salmon they have ever had. Usually people don't comment about the food at weddings unless it it is really good. It made me so happy that our guests enjoyed their food as much as we did. If you want a caterer will help you pull off a fun and enjoyable wedding and serve delicious food, use Continental!

Delicious, beautiful, and plentiful. I deeply appreciate their socially responsible and environmentally friendly approach. People talked about how much they enjoyed the food for months after. The staff are fantastic.

Continental was absolutely great at my wedding. They're a very well run caterer and everybody I came in contact there was very professional. We got the contract, menu selections, and schedule all worked out without a hitch.

For the food, they've got a wide variety of cuisines you can choose from so they probably have whatever you want. We went with mostly French cuisine because we wanted high quality, but smaller portions. It was all delicious! For hors douevres, I would recommend the filo tartlets. They were so moist and yummy =). For entree, I HIGHLY recommend their sea bass. It is very flavorful without being too heavy.

I would definitely choose Continental again if I needed a caterer.

The first time we met with Paul from Continental he pulled out a floor plan of our venue, something that the venue hadn't even given us! He knew the site well and it showed. On the day of the wedding the staff was organzied and professional. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Our family still comments on how great the food was at our wedding. We highly recommend Continental!

These caterers were professional and classy. I planned my wedding alone, without a wedding planner, and they made my job so much easier! The owner Paul helped me design table and chair layouts that fit the party and the venue, and made great recommendations on food choices for our theme anbd budget. They were flexible with allowing me to bring my own cultural fare--a roasted pig that they were happy to carve for the party. The catering manager onsite was responsive to my every need, and he was funny and nice as well! The food was affordable and top-notch, and the catering manager did not charge a corkage fee for serving our own beverages.

I can't say enough good things about Paul Alexander, Wendy Kleckner and the entire staff at Continental Caterers. The quality of the food and variety of the menu is the best in the business. Whenever I'm working an event with these seasoned professionals I know the food with be served on time, their service is outstanding. When people ask for a caterer reference I never hesitate to recommend Continental. Great food, outstanding service, fair price.
