We hired Ruthie Turner’s Costa Del Sol Events to be our Day-Of wedding coordinator about three months prior to the event. We questioned whether this was a necessary expense, but knew that we did not want the hassle of dealing with all the vendors on the day of our wedding. After the wedding, we both said that it was the best money we ever spent.
Ruthie set us up with an initial meeting, reviewed our plans and gave us many helpful suggestions even before contracting to be our coordinator. From the beginning she was attuned to what we wanted in our wedding.
We planned our wedding, booked and met with all the vendors, and did all the legwork necessary for a wedding. Ruthie was always available by email and gave us great suggestions along the way. As the wedding drew closer Ruthie started gathering all the details of how we wanted to accommodate our guests. She patiently and gracefully took on that responsibility.
Preparations were going well until 12 days before the wedding when, for various reasons, we had a change of heart about our caterer. We immediately contacted Ruthie, and through her loyal network of caterers, and her persistence, we ended up with fabulous food, delightfully served and one giant headache averted.
The day of the wedding, Ruthie was at the venue early, coordinated with all the vendors and did a spectacular job. Ruthie is at the same time knowledgeable and able to make quick and pleasant connections with others. She was there for us to help create just the right atmosphere for our guests and ourselves on this most unforgettable day. Ruthie gets a big “high-five” and a hug from us. We highly recommend Costa Del Sol Events.
