Ok actually like many brides i think my wedding cake idea was a key factor. But my big difference is... i didn't pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for an ok tasting cake. For my celter pieces I bought or made glass cake plates on small pedastools 9each only cost a few dollars) then I went to Costco 2 days before the wedding and picked out all different kinds of their delicious cakes. I got everything from double chocolate to carrot to cheese cakes. I then put them on as my centerpieces pre-cut up for the guests killing 2 birds with one stone, A centerpices as fun a lively as us and the cheapest best wedding cakes because everyone got exactly what they wanted. I also liked this idea becasue i wanted people up and mingling so everyone walked around finding their favorite dessert after dinner and got to hang out with people other than their table. also I just got some of those gorgious 2 dozen roses for $15 at costco to lay around a little to add some color! I had about 16 cakes for under $200
