Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Vinings

They were wonderful for setting up our wedding block, but the rules were a bit confusing at first. We were never exactly clear on what we would be financially responsible for and in what scenarios. It ended up working out because enough people stayed, but that was a bit confusing. Pros: They let the bridal party keep the suite (at no extra cost) for a late checkout to allow us to get ready there until about 230pm. They were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Internet available at no cost. Cons: No breakfast! Breakfast downstairs is $11/pp!!!! Granted, it is in the middle of Vinings, so there are local places to go, but when the whole party is getting ready, the last thing we wanted to worry about was who was going to make a food run. We ended up ordering from a local breakfast place and having it delivered to the room. Also, the pull out couches are TERRIBLE. My poor bridesmaids ended up sleeping on the floor because it was more comfortable than on the couch. I was comfy with my MOH in the king bed, though :-) Bottom line: Great location and introduction to Atlanta for out of town guests, but there is no transportation anywhere and no breakfast, which can make Atlanta daunting for newcomers. For the bridal party, not a terrible place to get ready all things considered. Would probably not go there again, though given the issues with food and my b-maids not getting to sleep!
