Craig is easy to work with. He is professional and responsive. A bride will be in good hands when working with Craig. My client was very happy with Craig's work, he even did a proposal recap for them and developed it into a story. It was a wonderful short video to be shown at the actual wedding.

I must have had a spreadsheet of about 50 local photographers when I started researching this aspect of my wedding (yes, a complete bridezilla moment!). I went through each photographer and eliminated some immediately strictly based on their website. Next, I started calling and setting up meetings. Many were unimpressive right off the bat. As my list narrowed, I kept coming back to Craig. He was completely professional, I loved his work and compared to all of the others I saw for his quality and style of work- he was VERY reasonable as far as prices/packages went. His package prices blew the competition away. I really feel as though I got the most "Bang For My Buck" as far as Quality, Service and everything included in my package.

That being said, on a personal level, it was an absolute pleasure working with Craig Rucker. I truly feel as though the photos are the MOST important aspect of the big day. Everything else is just over and done with so quickly, it's the memories and pictures that last a lifetime. My pictures turned out beautiful (despite the rain!) and my friends and family agreed- people were talking about my photos months after they were online! Craig put together a wonderful album and he did it in a very timely fashion (I've heard horror stories of brides not getting their albums for up to a year after their wedding!) Not Craig- he was on the ball!

I would recommend Craig Rucker Photography to anyone shopping around for that perfect photographer. If I am ever in need of a photographer again, I will surely use Craig. I can honestly say it was the best decision I made on my wedding day... besides my choice of husband, of course!

Craig Rucker was a wonderful photographer. We are so happy with our pictures and album.

What sold us was that he didn't charge by the hour. We were having a 2pm-3pm wedding and a 6pm-midnight reception so we didn't want to have to worry about what hour we were in. He truly worked ALL day. He was there around 10am to get "make-up and prep" pictures and stayed until most of the guests had left later that night.

He was the first photographer that we met with and after looking through other websites and sample work, we decided we didn't need to meet with anyone else. He was the right one for us.

He took our engagement pictures as well and met us in downtown LA for our session. All of our guests loved the engagement photos that we displayed at the reception!

He created a slideshow of our wedding day that was ready for us when we returned from our honeymoon. Nine months later and we still enjoy watching it. He did such a great job putting our album together that I only had to email him once with changes and then we printed it! We had the album before our 7-month anniversary.

He was professional, polite, and very patient with all of the guests, friends, and family.

His pictures are a great mixture of posed and candid and what caught my attention on his website was that they are bright and vibrant. My husband was very, very picky about the photographer and was extremely impressed with his work.

Craig was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. He was gracious and practically invisible. He managed our families with ease, and he captured all the moments we wanted. He came to our home in the morning to shoot my husband to be, and to my hotel room to capture me getting ready. We will always treasure our photos, and thE book he made for us was astounding. We show it to all our guests and they are blown away. I would never recommend anyone other than Craig. He is the consummate professional!

Choosing Craig Rucker as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He was very professional and accomodating. I checked out many other photographers, but he was the last. He caught our attention when we saw samples of his work in other weddings and engagement photo sessions. He has a talent for capturing people's emotions and presenting it as a story.

We had an intimate engagement photo session at a remote beach in Malibu. He was very good at giving direction, but at the same time made us forget that we were in a photo shoot. Some of the great shots were captured while we were playing around. My friends and family could not believe how fabulous the slide show and photo album came out!!! I felt like a model! It made me even more excited to see what he can do for our wedding.

During our wedding ceremony and reception, he was non-intrusive and did his work behind the scenes. In between the events, however, he took charge and was able to take all of the formal shots with our family and court at the church. Not to mention, we have a BIG family and a court to match. We then went to Cal Tech in Pasadena for a fun photo session with the court. At the reception, I was very surprised by how long he stayed. He was able to catch one of the last moments where my husband was thrown in the air by his buddies.

Our wedding slide show and photo album were very impressive. Everyone that watched the slide show felt like they were living the moment from beginning to end. Each photo flowed to the next, along with the different song selections. I wanted to get married all over again!!! The album was contemporary, with a magazine style layout. It was exactly what I asked for. Did I mention this guy has a talent for getting perfect shots?

Working with Craig Rucker Photography was an incredible experience with lasting memories. Craig is extremely kind-hearted with a great eye for the perfect shots--both staged and "natural." The pictures he took for us have brought us so much joy, in addition to many compliments on their beauty.

As previous reviewers have mentioned, Craig spent the entire day and evening with us--charging just one flat rate (not hourly).

Additionally, Craig creates a beautiful photobook as part of the flat fee. He was incredibly patient with all of the changes and comments I had regarding the design.

Craig also was willing to travel and check out additional photo sights for our pre-wedding photos.

He worked wonderfully with our wedding coordinator, Wedding Jeanie.

Overall, I would highly recommend him--he was a pleasure to work with (fun, easy going, kind and extremely professional) and he produced beautiful work that I will enjoy for a life time.

I was incredibly picky about photographers. So much so that, even though I was married in my hometown of Pittsburgh, I actually flew my photographer in from LA! That talented photographer was Craig Rucker (as well as his assistant photographer). He was worth every penny, which was a a bit more than the above stated price because we had him capture another event and included flight and hotel. I had looked around a good bit, Craig's photos were by the far some of the best I saw. They combine a beautiful artistic quality with a photojournalistic bent so that all the important events were captured, and captured stunningly. The colors, the angles, the perspectives were unique and dramatic. I couldn't have been more pleased. And everyone loved them as well. Just as importantly, Craig is professional, polite, concerned, and responsive, from beginning to end. I recommend him HIGHLY and so do friends who used him before me.

Craig Rucker Photography provides a service nothing short of excellent. They work very closely with you to understand what you want to see as an end result and ensure that you are completely satisfied. We initially wanted to use them for videography only; however, we were duped into a scam and Craig was kind enough to inform us to be weary of the photographer we chose. Thanks to his warning, we were able to prevent even more losses and turned to Craig for their photography services as well. The choice was one we did not regret. Both our wedding album and DVD turned out amazing. Our family members enjoy the quality work the team put together.
