Crave Catering

Every step of the way Crave Catering was fabulous.Leslie LaSorsa, a supervisor at Crave, is very knowledgeable and helped me select my linens, glassware and menu and handled every detail for me. She was full of helpful hints about how to have a successful event. All of the waitstaff were nice, clean and gracious. The food met and exceeded my expectations. I recieved compliments from most all of my guest that it was outstanding. Crave Catering is the way to go!

A Rave for Crave!Let me preface this review by saying I am from New York and I have a career in planning. I try not to be one of ‘those NYers’ but it’s very competitive here so as a culture we have an expectation of excellent service and product. Leslie was put to the challenge for my crazy questions, requests, changes, and everything in between and she delivered it. With champagne. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Leslie and her team, she was truly my Fairy God Mother. Planning from afar was challenge enough but it doesn’t help that I’m detailed and Type A. Leslie provided with me all sorts of visuals and then made recommendations based on her expertise. The wedding turned out to be exactly as I had dreamed and she’s the one who made it happen. The décor was beautiful, everything was done so perfectly and with such care. Her staff was incredibly helpful and friendly to everyone. So you're wondering about the food? It was absolutely fantastic (and New Yorkers can be a tough crowd to please, especially on the subject of food). Everything from the sliders, to the salad, to the tenderloin, to the cheesecake lollipops, to the made-to-order chipwhiches were absolutely superb. Our guests did nothing but rave about it.

Crave Catering is absolutely AWESOME! If you are sitting on the fence--jump down and call them IMMEDIATELY!!!! They are the easiest people to work with I have ever enjoyed working with. We told them what we basically wanted, they gave many helpful suggestions, we tasted the food and was SOLD--hook, line and sinker! EVERYONE we came in contact with at Crave Catering was pleasant, professional and ready to assist in any way. Our event was a reception after our daughters wedding in Hawaii and Crave was exception. The set up was beautiful, the servers were the best ever, and we "wanted" for nothing during our party. We ran out of one alcohol that "everyone" seemed to be drinking, so they went and picked up more after checking with me--"Who does that?" Please do not hesitate if you are in doubt. I am a very thorough person and no job was left undone!Out event went a smooth a silk........ Hint: Try their "Milk and Cookie Bar" everyone LOVED IT! LOVE CRAVE CATERING AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

I loved CRAVE! They truly are the best! The best advice I can give is to pay the extra fee for the assistant. Everything went perfect for us and Leslie handled every little detail like a pro. The food was amazing. Our guests still pay us compliments on the food. The biggest decision for your wedding is picking your craterer. These guys do it all, and really allow you to enjoy the experience. As soon as our wedding was over, we were planning our next party that we could do with CRAVE!

Crave is the best. Shannon helped me through the whole process and when price became a concern, she helped me adjust my menu without cutting back on quality. They even came out to the house where I got married to look at where everything would be. Another friend of mine just got marriend in May and also used them. We are talking about using Crave for upcoming holiday parties.

The team at Crave were fantastic - from planning the menu, helping with table and decor design, and suggesting other potential vendors. We loved the menu, and received so many compliments on the food.

Loved working with Crave Catering and Leslie. I really felt like Leslie was attentive to all of my requests and went out of her way to make my day special. She even stayed late or went into work early to be able to talk with me in Hong Kong.

Leslie at Crave Catering helped us coordinate a luncheon this summer for my mom's small wedding with about 35 people in my home. She was so helpful with ideas and recommendations. The chef prepared us a wonderful tasting in the beginning that was actually a wonderful, meal-sized tasting. The food was delicious. The staff was so kind. Everyone at our event asked me who did the catering and raved about how wonderful it was and how beautiful the presentation was. Thank you, Leslie! I have told many people how great you were and am happy to leave this review to let people know that they can count on having a wonderful event if they employ Crave Catering. Best Wishes!

Shannon from Crave Catering did a great job catering my wedding! I made several changes from the time I initially talked to her, and she was always willing help out with my needs. I would use Crave for an event in the future!

The crave team could not have done a better job! They made our dreams of a carnival themed wedding come to life! Their staff went above and beyond on everything. Even down to helping me with my dress for a last minute emergency bathroom break before the ceremony! They even got red and white stripped ties at their oun expense to make the feel pop! I will definitely use them again for parties and recommend them to all I my bride to be friends!

About a month before my wedding, the original caterer I was going to use went under and I had to find a new caterer - and fast! Crave Catering stepped up to the plate and did an amazing job!! We were thrilled with how all the food came out on the day of the wedding and all of our guests said the food was excellent! Thanks for making our day perfect with all the details you helped with!

The food was very good. We received many compliments on it and on the service. The only complaint we received was that when someone set their drink down to go dance, the waiters would pick them up and toss them even if they were full. That was costly and we had to send a guest to the store to buy more beer. Other than that it was fantastic and we would use Crave again.

We are from Maryland, our daughter is in San Antonio, and we planned a wedding for Austin - in July - with three months notice. So as stressful as that seems, Crave stepped up to the plate and kept my nerves calm as issues that could have been enormous turned out to be small. They were professional, the food was excellent - our pregnant, vegetarian daughter loved it!I was not sure how planning a distance wedding would be, but I would highly recommend Crave for any event.A pleased mother of the bride!

Crave did such an AMAZING job for our BIG day. When I told Leslie that I was a Bride on a Budget, she made me feel like she took it as a challenge to make it happen and never once told me that my budget was impossible, etc. I cannot tell you how many compliments my guests gave about the food---seriously, nothing but rave reviews! I was a very "hands-off" bride and really did not know what in the world I was doing. Shannon was sooo patient with me, gave me great ideas, and even went with me to pick out my linens!! I basically told her what I had in mind and she and her team took care of EVERY detail on my wedding day. SUCH A RELIEF!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Crave catering to anyone who is looking of helpful, honest and reliable people who really make you feel like your day is truly important to them!!!

My husband and I are foodies, and we LOVED having CRAVE do our wedding! Everything was amazing, and it was all handled by the most professional staff. Would love to use them again.The only issues I had were the first tasting was poor showing , but they were so great on the second one, we booked them on the spotThe pricing structure seemed to change over the months, so had to catch those items They said the would make sure we had this GREAT goodie bag of food to take w/ us to eat that night ( since bride and groom are so busy) that would be sampling of everything. It was a MAJOR disappointment, when we opened it up, and there were some lame cheese and crackers- so FYI!!!! Dont count on that !

it's hard planning a wedding - much less a wedding out of state, it's good to know that Crave was on my side. Leslie and her staff did a great job,taking care of pretty much everything, from set-up, clean-up, ordering/returning of the liquor and laying out "late night snacks" on the bus at the end of the night. The food was amazing and everyone raved about how great the food was. The staff often works in less than ideal conditions especially when it's places that don't offer a full kitchen, but they made it work and they did an amazing job. Thank you Crave!

I used Crave to cater my wedding, and I also used their coordination services just for some extra help on the day of. Leading up to the wedding, they were amazing. Always eager to answer questions and help out. Within the month before the wedding, responses slowed, and a lot of questions kept getting left unanswered (I would have to ask two or three times). All in all though, pretty smooth. Despite all of this, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Seriously, people said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. But the real let downs occurred following the big night. I had agreed months prior to the wedding with the coordinator that since we were getting married on a Sunday and delivery prices for rentals were quite high for late night pickups (like 500 dollars) that she would guarantee that the rentals were placed inside, locked up, and would be picked up in the morning by the rental company. This was important, because the venue manager had explained that previously coordinators had left items outside that ended up getting stolen at the owners expense. My coordinator at Crave and I had talked extensively about this being a high priority, and I trusted that she would ensure that the items were safely locked inside. The morning after the wedding, I returned to the site to double check that everything was okay. To my dismay, all of the rentals were left outside. I called the coordinator immediately, and she explained that the on site venue manager told her to just leave them outside. I was furious! We had talked about this for months, and okay-ed it was the head facility manager, and she just said "okay" to that nights on site manager without considering the GREAT cost we could have been charged had items been stolen. This was a serious disappointment for me, but I am glad that nothing was taken in the end. And she did apologize profusely for it.Other disappointments began mounting about the bartenders: high end expensive liquor was missing that we saw almost completely full at the end of the night at the bar; and we had purchased cointreau for signature margaritas--and the bartenders opened one and used less than a teaspoon (we had an entire 5 gallon jug of signature margaritas--so I don't know what they used instead since we didn't have triple sec)We confronted the caterer about the expensive liquor, and they explained that the bartenders lost the lids to the liquor and so they just threw it out at the end of the night (why they didn’t ask us first I don’t know). But, they offered to replace the liquor that was full and thrown out, so at least they recognized their mistake. All in all, I have mixed feelings about Crave now. I think they do an excellent job with food, but I do not think I would use their coordination services if I had to do it over again. I was just disheartened.

First off Crave does an excellent job with their food! They also were very flexible with scheduling tasting times and were able to get us in with out limited schedule. However were Crave falls short is with communication. I had been working with Shannon who was terrific and I am not sure if there was job changes but I ended up with Lauren who was suppose to attend my wedding to make sure everything we asked for went smoothly and did not. She failed to communicate with the owners of the company what was requested the day of my wedding. Nor did anyone from Crave contact me to let me know the change in staffing to give me the opportunity to make sure we were all on the same page with specific details. When concerns of this were brought to the owners attention they simply denied it and said what was requested was given. The food is the best out there and if they could have a better form of communication with the customer they would be perfect :-)
