This cake was amazing! The cake at the wedding tasted better than the one we tasted for a trial. If you are in the market for a great tasting cake, this is the place to go. Value for cost was good too. I consider myself the wedding bargain hunter and this was definitely the best price for what we got. The only thing I can say negative was the dificulty I had getting in touch with them during the planning process. In the end it was all worth it and we got a ton of compliments!

The cake was beautiful and tasted great! We discussed the cake design we wanted in detail and the cake tasting they did for us was very helpful in getting us to determine what flavor of cake we wanted. We very much appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail.

When we first contacted Cream Cake, my husband and I had no idea what kind of cake we wanted for our wedding, but the assistance provided by the staff at Cream Cake was invaluable in helping us with the kind of cake and the design we should get. Our cake blended in perfectly with the theme of our wedding and reflected something of our personalities and interests. It turned out to be both beautiful and scrumptious!

Somewhere along the way, an important detail of wedding cakes has been lost: cakes are supposed to be dessert! Many places have become so concerned with the look of a cake that they don't realize it lacks - sometimes glaringly - in the taste department. At Cream Cake Co., we believe your cake should be a great dessert.

We specialize in beautiful, custom designed wedding cakes. All of our cakes are covered in our signature Sweet Cream Icing, which is light, fluffy, and unbelievably addictive. We bake all of our cakes from scratch, to order, so you will be guaranteed a fresh, moist cake. No powdered sugar, no shortening, no weird artificial flavors that were created in a lab.

We are experienced in a range of styles from simple to ornate, and from traditional to modern. We can help you design a cake to go with your wedding theme, or you can let us know what you're looking for. Contact us to schedule a tasting!

All of our tastings are done privately in your home, or at a mutually convenient location. We currently charge $50 for a tasting.

Does the price include the top tier of the cake?

Yes

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?

We offer both custom designed cakes and pre-designed styles. Our pre-designed styles can be found on the "beer budget" page of our site. The prices for these designs are lower.

What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?

We bake from scratch and only use fresh ingredients. We never use mixes and we never freeze our cakes.

On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?

We can sometimes accept orders up to two weeks before the wedding date. It would depend on our availability and the complexity of your cake design.

How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?

We can currently schedule a maximum of 5 wedding cakes.

Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?

Yes

What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?

We don't rent out equipment.

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?

Yes, we offer delivery and setup in the Chicagoland area for $50.
