We recently had my daughters wedding at Plimoth plantation and I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. The staff was absolutely professional, courteous, and helpful. The food was out of this world and very high end at a reasonable cost. The ceremony was at Hornblower Gardens onsite and was so very enchanting and like a fantasy. The reception was held at the Pavillion onsite and comfortably hled 180 guests. The tent overlooks the field , river and ocean and was so scenic and charming. From the beginning stages of wedding planning to the very end was impeccable.

Everything was great! The food, service and attentiveness throughout our planning were amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time and continue to comment on how beautiful the location was. Our ceremony was in the garden and it couldn't have been any more perfect!

Plimoth Plantation is such a gem for weddings. Diane Cox is extremely easy to work with, and she was willing to work with the both of us. They held a wedding tasting for all the summer weddings and it was very helpful and delicious! We had chicken francesce and filet mignon and everything was cooked perfectly. Apparently, the baked brie and cranberry was amazing according to some of my guests. The crab cakes were to die for! They have their own chef, and the meals are very affordable. The packages include open bar, which was a huge money saver. Erin was our event manager the day of, and she was so easy to work with. All the staff made sure we were completely taken care of.
We got married in the Hornblower Garden, which is absolutely beautiful. Like a secret garden. We had the reception underneath the tent/pavilion along the water. It was great. We also had a brunch the day after, and the food was amazing, especially the french toast casserole. It was a great experience all in all.

My daughter recently had her reception at the Plimoth Plantation Pavilion. From the time we signed the contract with Diane Cox until the end of the reception, everything was managed in a professional, caring manner. Any time we had a question or concern, Diane was very easy going and always put us at ease. She was very easy to work with. The staff set up our decorations in an amazing way. I was so surprised when I walked into the Pavilion and tent that evening to see how they had set everything up. The Hornblower garden where we had pictures taken was in full bloom and beautiful. Our event coordinator for the evening, Erin, and Joseph, were in contact with us throughout the evening to let us know what was going on and to see if we needed anything. The food was excellent. We had many friends comment on the food and that it was the best wedding they had ever attended.

I recently had my wedding at the Plimoth Plantation in the Pavilion overlooking the Eel River and Plymouth Harbor. From the first time I visited the Plantation and met with Diane, I knew that this would be the perfect venue for my husband and I. The Pavilion has the perfect feel of New England and the beautiful ocean view. Diane was amazing to work with and extremely responsive to all of our questions and guided us through the entire process. When the day of my wedding came, we were all very calm and confident in how the reception would go.
Our event coordinators Erin and Joseph knew every single detail of the day and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The food was amazing and all of our guests commented that it was some of the best food they had eaten at a wedding. The servers were very professional and polite. The view was beautiful and the staff at the Plantation set up our decorations exactly how we imagined. I cannot thank Diane, Erin, Joseph and the rest of the staff that were part of our wedding enough for making our day so wonderful and amazing.

My daughter was just married at the Plimoth Plantation. The marriage ceremony was held in the Hornblower Garden and the reception was in the pavillion down by the Eel River. The whole event was extraordinary. The garden site was magical. The folks that put together the seating and garden care truly did care about this most important event of a life time. The people at the Plantation really get that.
The Creative Gourmet people were patient, caring and flexible. They understand the pressures, confusions and anxiety of this event and the crazy mother's and brides.I appreciate their guidance and calmness they posses.
The whole team from the folks that take care of the gardens to the team at Creative Gourmet made this the most precious moment of my life. Words can never express how beautiful a event they put together. They created magic.
Thank you everybody there.

On May 23, my husband and I were married in a private ceremony in Negril, Jamaica. We wanted to come home to MA and celebrate with our family and friends. We chose the Peabody Pavilion at the Plimoth Plantation to have our reception on July 31, 2010- site unseen. Living in Texas and doing all the preparation online via email and on the phone was so easy! Diane Cox and Amy Eufrazio made everything seamless- from the food, the bar, the equipment, to the floral/band/cake recommendations... We never second guessed our decision!
The only thing I have to say it that the pictures on the website do not do it justice! When we arrived, we realized just how beautiful the venue and property truly is!!! The room was a gorgeous indoor pavillion and an outdoor tent along a beautiful river. It was breathtaking. Parking was right outside the door and the bathrooms were within the facility itself.
The event staff was unbelievable- catering to our every need/whim. They set up the tables/decorations with minimal explanations needed. They were always making sure we were okay and enjoying ourselves. They were flexible when we wanted to push dinner back a little to ensure all our guests had arrived.... They exceeded ALL of our expectations and I would refer the facility and staff in a heartbeat!!!
Food at weddings is generally decent- but the food during the event was amazing. All the guests kept raving about how great it was- how the meat and fish melted in your mouth like butter. We chose dinner stations rather than a sit down meal-and I would DEFINITELY recommend the food. Some guests mentioned following around the appetizer servers to ensure they could eat more appetizers! It was really comforting to know the guests were so happy (and well fed)!
I can honestly say that I would NOT change a thing- the venue, the staff, the service, the view, the food and the overall value was perfect! July 31, 2010 is a night we will never forget. Thank you Plimoth Plantation and Creative Gourmet for sharing in our once in a lifetime memories!!!

The food was wonderful! This is all our guests talked about after the wedding! We had our reception here and our guests had the chowder bar, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp wrapped in bacon, (we missed it because we were off getting pictures take), but heard it was great! We made it back in time for the main course. We had a station set-up of lobster macaroni, chicken and roast beef. My favorite was the lobster macaroni, it just melted in your mouth! We had our ceremony onsite at the garden and we used the pavillion and tent area for the reception. The only one downside was some little beetle type bugs that came out after dark. It caused some of our guest to leave early. Besides that, the day was perfect with a nice cool breeze from the water. We couldn't have asked for a more better day.

The Hornblower Garden at Plimouth Plantation is romantic garden and hidden jewel! Diana was very helpful and understood my son's and daughter-in-law's budget. She did an excellent job creating a memorable wedding Ceremony and Reception!

I held both my ceremony and reception at Plimouth Plantation. The garden was gorgeous, the reception hall amazing, the food absolutely incredible. Many of my guests told me the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. They did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding and I highly recommend them.

We got married in the Hornblower Garden and had our reception in the Accomack Room. Though it was too early in the spring for a full-bloom garden, the landscaping was fresh and beautiful for our day, bright and green, with fresh flowers beginning to bud. Chairs were provided and set up, though any extra decoration was our responsibility. Our reception in the Accomack room was wonderful -- it was the perfect size for a group of >50. The staff helped with some decorating, though we had a big group of family/friends who "took over" on the more time-consuming stuff (lights, centerpieces) earlier in the day. Amy, our coordinator, checked with us a couple of times during the night to see if we needed anything, but otherwise the staff was unobtrusive and on top of things. Creative Gourmet did a great job with the food -- I've heard horror stories -- and been to weddings myself -- where the dinner is merely "okay" or downright awful -- NOT SO at plimoth! Our meals were served piping hot and done to perfection. We, and our guests, had a great time that night and a big part of that was the setting and friendly staff at Plimoth. ALSO weddings in and around Boston, MA can be pricey and finding a nice place can be difficult -- Plimoth Plantation is *very* reasonable and we had no problem booking our date! (our approximate price listed included the meal, dessert and cake cutting, reception hall, garden, dance floor that had to be brought in separately, linens, and an open bar).

I have to say that to this day we still receive compliments about the amazing food that was enjoyed at our wedding. We choose the Presidential Package for our event. Our meal choice was the Filet w/Scallop Bernaise Sauce, Pecan Encrusted Chicken w/Maple Cream Sauce and the Roquefort Potato. The food was absolutely amazing. The function room is stunning at night. It's a simple elegance with the hard wood floors and wrought iron fixtures. We upgraded to chocolate brown satin linen overlays and it was beautiful. Diane Cox is a joy to work with and very accomodating. The grounds are beautiful. Our guests had many compliments.

They were amazing and did a lot of the work for me even adding in decorative lighting and decorations to make it all so very perfect! the garden with coy pond and terraced seating was even more beautiful than this picture shows... amazing for wedding photos and trees have speakers wired into braches for great sound without looking ugly!

The reception was wonderful! It was a lot of fun. Very low-key, but exactly what my husband and I wanted. We chose the Boston BBQ Buffet. It was a lot of fun and less formal than most wedding food.

Plimoth Plantation was a very nice place to have our wedding ceremony. We had it under a tent overlooking the ocean. It was a beautiful day. However, I was very disappointed in the responsiveness I received from the sales staff at Creative Gourmet. They never made any attempt to contact me to start the planning process. I had to hunt them down. It seemed like they would never return my calls/emails. Though, I do have to say that the banquet manager did a great job. When we met with her, she really eased our concerns and made our day very nice. Plimoth Plantation was nice, in that, they were very flexible with our menu choices. We wanted to have somewhat casual food, and they made it possible for us. We had a great time!

I absolutely recommend Plimouth Plantation as a venue for your wedding. It seemed like an odd place at first since the last time I had been there was on a 6th grade field trip but I have to say, everything was of extremely high quality. The food was sensational, the decor - gorgeous and the help was incredible. A+++++
Events at Plimoth Plantation are like no other. With many different options to choose for location, the Plimoth Plantation is diverse and classic. Diane and Kathy are fantastic to work with and the food is phenomenal. There is no other setting in New England as quaint and quintessential as Plimoth Plantation.
