Rev. Eva Overholt was very friendly and inviting from the moment we stepped into her office. She laughed with us and encouraged us in what we have been through in life and our relationship with each other and celebrated our decision to wed each other. Andy and I wanted a very, very simple ceremony, just tie the knot and move on. Rev. Eva surprised us with a beautiful ceremony - one we didn't even know we wanted - she took the little things we said about ourselves in the hour meeting we had with her prior to the wedding day and came up with beautiful sentiment that made our marriage ceremony so much more than the legal necessity. Rev Eva has a beautiful soul. She made us feel that we have a friend for life in her and I will surely recommend her to friends and family!

We worked with Reverend Eva Overholt and were so pleased with her services. We come from different religious backgrounds and she made sure to design a ceremony that was reflective of us as individuals and a couple. We truly appreciated how willing she was to design a custom ceremony for us and had a lot of fun working with her. She was recommended to us by a friend and I have already recommended her services to two other brides! We received so many compliments on our ceremony and HIGHLY recommend Eva Overholt if you are looking for an officiant that will listen to you and design a ceremony that is truly reflective of you as a couple.

The most important part of a wedding is the actual ceremony and Reverand Eva did a wonderful job getting to know us and customizing the ceremony to fit us as a couple. She has a way with words, our vows were beautiful and really touched us on a deep emotional and spiritual level. She was there to calm me when things were not going so well before the ceremony, she is an amazing person and I highly recommend her if you want a beautiful ceremony that will touch the hearts of all who witness it.

Creative Ministries and Reverend Eva helped make the memories of our wedding day something we will never forget. The service was beautiful and beyond any expectations we had. A moment before going to walk down the aisle Reverend Eva came to speak with me in private. All the hustle and bustle of the day became calm and I was able to focus more clearly on what was important. They truly do take the time to get to know you and care about what’s important to you on your wedding day. I cannot say enough positive things about Creative Ministries and their kind and caring personalities. I would highly recommend there services.

Reverend Eva was a great officiant. She was helpful with putting the ceremony together so it was right for us as a couple. She also understood that as a bride to be my schedule was hectic and bent over backwards to meet with me and get things done. Most importantly though she was a calming influence on me during the time leading up to the ceremony. I couldn't have asked for more.

We begin our relationship with you during a complimentary consultation. This is a time for us to meet with you, to listen and learn more about you and gather information related to your ceremony preferences. It is also a time we encourage you to ask us your questions, inquire about your special requests and bring us your inquires regarding our background, past experiences, references and professional affiliations. During this meeting you will meet your Officiant and ultimately decide if their personality and style will be a fit for this high profile aspect of your wedding day. This meeting helps us to understand what you wish and desire to express as two unique individuals as you enter into your sacred connection through your marriage union. Every ceremony is custom prepared and created to express your personal preferences, beliefs and values. We take the time to develop ceremony content that is unique and as individualized as you are. All the legal requirements are followed so that everything is submitted according to the state you are married in. We always provide a professional back-up for you in case of an emergency. Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Yes

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

We have the ability and willingness to travel to the site you choose for your ceremony. If you have not selected a venue for your wedding ceremony, we can make suggestions based on what your style and preferences you have. Both indoor and outdoor sites are available.

What is your attire for the ceremony?

Normally the attire that is worn is professional neutral. If you prefer religious attire and a more formal impression that is also an option for you communicate as your personal preferences. Whenever possible we dress to color coordinate with the wedding party with taste and very subtlety.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

Absolutely! That is the manner in which we specialize. We feel that as every relationship is unique, so should their ceremony be. That is, when the couple shares that belief. However we can gladly provide traditionally prepared content if that is what a couple decides is best for them. A combination of contemporary and traditional can also be used.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

We most definitely do. We certainly can offer suggestions and resources if requested or we simply allow the couple to share and express what they choose, based on their personal decisions of style and individual expression.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

We have an extensive library and collection of readings, poems and sacred text selections that we can suggest or recommend, but final selection are all individually decided and approved, rather than made mandatory.

How long are your ceremonies?

Length often varies based on number of musical selections and added content, variations such as reading and/or poetry. Although this is not always published as a set time, the average ceremony tends to be 25-30 minutes, unless a couple decides to shorten or lengthen the time of their ceremony.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

This is not required but it is available and in some cases strongly recommended. The final decision for this is left up to the couple and often counseling is done at a later time in their marriage if circumstances change or develop that make counseling a wise choose to serve the marriage and the related family members that seek or partake in counseling options. Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

Certainly! This optional service is discussed and decided by the couple. Often this is recommended, but it is not a mandatory requirement. Usually this is based on a number of deciding factors discussed with the couple for their final decision based on preferences and needs.

Do you supply a sound system?

A sound system can be added to the service needs for a ceremony. This too, is discussed and finally decided upon by the couple based on the ceremony venue, number of guests and other logistical considerations. Providing a sound system is an added charge for a nominal amount.
