Creek Club at I'On

Highly recommend The Creek Club. The venue is perfectly situated, a beautiful creek side setting, welcoming porch with rocking chairs and open interior space, all of which you can make your own by adding personal touches and decorating to fit your style. Great food with many options to choose from. Excellent service all around. Pam was great to work with. She has great relationships with vendors in the area. Alecia jumped in as our day of coordinator and didn't skip a beat. These two ladies made it look effortless and allowed the bride and her family to relax and enjoy the day.

During the planning process staff was just an email away. They were always quick to respond to questions and concerns. Easy to work with. Venue was beautiful, we had many many comments about how wonderful the venue was. During the event the staff was better then we could have dreamed. They carried my plate of food to the table for me, they offered to get the groom another plate of food (we did buffet style). The food was amazing. I was one table cloth short and Pam picked one up on the way to work that morning.

All of the staff at the Creek Club were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were always there when we needed to reach them or needed their help! They went out of their way to make our day as special as possible! The food was out of this world; our guests can not stop talking about it! Venue is beautiful & intimate. I would HIGHLY recommend using the Creek Club at Ion for your special day!

My husband and I wanted our wedding to feel like friends and family came over to our house for a backyard BBQ - and the Creek Club was absolutely perfect! From the wrap-around front porch to the gorgeous landscaping, we felt right at home. We loved being able to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, and the entire Creek Club staff (especially Pam) helped make our big day relaxed and special. The Creek Club catering was incredibly delicious, and they were very helpful in making the menu flexible for the vegetarians in our group (bride included!). Watching the sun set on the porch surrounded by family and friends, while sitting back in rocking chairs in front of a roaring fire - well we don't think our wedding could have gotten any better than that.

Not being from Charleston I was a little worried about planning a wedding from out of town. I had visited a few other venues in the area but after meeting Viva for our initial visit our choice was clear. She was so organized and had a folder for me with all of the information about the club-which being a pretty disorganized person was SUPER helpful. We decided to use Pam as our full service planner and man wasshe was a life saver. She set up all of our vendor appointments for us and we got most everything squared away in one weekend trip down there. And the day of the wedding everything went like clockwork...the woman knows what she is doing!! The staff at the Club during was awesome and so friendly! All of our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the venue was. Thanks to all of the staff for making my special day run so smoothly.

they were AMAZING! The venue couldn't have been more perfect. I can't remember her name but you can pay an extra fee to have one of the ladies there to help you on your big day sort of keep everything and everyone together. We did that and I HIGHLY recommend it. It took a huge weight of my Mom's shoulders and she was incredible. The whole night we didn't have to worry about when we cut the cake, when we did the bouquet toss, she would just come find us and let us know where we needed to be! the ONE thing I would change is to ask them to move the sign by the dock that says "dock closed during wedding ceremony" once the ceremony starts because it was in the background of all of our pictures. Other than that, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue :)

The Creek Club is an absolute beautiful setting and meet all of our needs. However sometimes it was a little tough getting all 3 of the ladies that work there on the same page, like for example 1 would tell us we could have something and the other say we couldn't so that was a little frustrating at times. Also when paying my final balance they overcharged my card which took a week to get back the extra money, however to kind of make up for it they did give us free security for our event. The food and bar service was great however I think the prices are a bit steep. And the biggest draw back is that because they are in a neighborhood all events have to be done by 10pm which is really early to us. But again the setting and location couldn't be better.

The Creek Club was the perfect venue for our southern wedding and reception. I planned most of the wedding from Atlanta before moving to Charleston. Pam was so helpful and completely understood my vision. The large open porch and lawn were great spaces for guests to enjoy the creek views. The reception room was large enough for a 7 piece band, dance floor and some inside seating. The food was amazing! We really enjoyed our venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for a low country setting.

The Creek Club was the most perfect place to have a creekside wedding! The staff was awesome in all the preparations, and the day of service (waiters, bartenders) were the nicest people we'd ever met! The food was amazing and three months later our guests are still telling people we had "the best wedding food!" We could not have been happier with our choice of venue!

We had a beautiful wedding here and used their catering for food. The food was amazing, and the site is gorgeous. One of the selling factors for this site is that there is plenty of space for the ceremony and reception even if there is bad weather, but we got super lucky with perfect weather and had our ceremony outside. There was one small issue where supposedly staff were snacking on our candy bar prior to the event, however when this was brought to the people in charge pre-ceremony, they promptly went out and replaced the candy missing. The staff in charge were very helpful prior to the wedding in helping choose vendors (we went with jay maxwell for a DJ and they were awesome and Brooke Brooks for photography and she did a beautiful job!) We even drank the bar out of a certain wine 2x, and they went out and got more both times rather than just pushing a different type. They were very flexible with meal planning and changing things on their menu for us so it could be perfect and cost effective. I would highly recommend this site, as it is beautiful, cost effective, and great no matter what the weather!

I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful experience we had at the Creek Club. The staff could not have been more helpful and the venue was so beautiful! The food was provided by Carter's which is the restaurant at the I'on community and was absolutely delicious! The day of the Wedding, the waitstaff were wonderful in anticipating our every need and Dan, the captian of the waitstaff for our event even went out and put lights on the dock for us that we were unable to do that morning due to the rain. Kudos to all of you at Creek Club for making our experience so memorable!

My back story is that my husband and I had a 2 year old while planning our wedding. He was unexpected and my life had not gone "according to plan" which was hard for me with my ocd. My wedding was something I didn't want to settle on because I felt like I settled alot with major decisions. We started searching in charleston from pittsburgh pa. I wanted the southern feel without the southern price. When I walked in I knew that was the place I wanted. Our wedding was perfect. I have a hard time with the "f" word as my husband says "fun". I had so much fun that night. Everything was remarkable. The food (that we didn't get a chance to taste before hand because we lived in pittsburgh) was excellent everyone loved it. It was also a great price. Drinks were great the service was amazing. The woman there were amazing with helping us split the cost since we had four different parties paying for certain parts. They always responded back in a timely manner. We had our wedding outside in front of the tree and it was perfect. The inside was beautiful and we could cut cost by bringing our own decorations. The women there were also very helpful with recommending other services to us since we lived out of state. I truly couldn't have asked for a better day. My pictures were amazing because they couldn't have been anything less at this location. When I was looking for a place to do it all I didn't want to have my wedding and reception in the same place but I wanted to know that we would have had a rain back up. They had their beautiful porch as an option. Luckily I didn't have to use that option. It's almost a year ago now and I think back on that time and how everything went according to plan when normally a wedding is never that. I am greatful for all the help the staff gave, the wonderful service, and this amazing location that helped me make peace with the rest of my life that had not gone as I planned.

The creek club at I'on provides a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding reception. We only had minor squabbles--a little pushback when we requested a few catering specifications, but in the end they catered to our requests. Another minor thing was when the restaurant that does their catering folded and they did not inform us--we had to read about it in the newspaper! Turns out this did not affect our catering order or execution, but it left us panicked for a few days bc we could not get in touch with them! Overall, the coordinator and staff were very kind and accomodating, and everything turned out beautifully.

The clubhouse is a wonderful setting for a Lowcountry wedding. There is a great marsh view from the wide wrap around porches. The room has a high ceiling and a fireplace and there was ample room inside, on the porches and grounds for our reception of about 130 guests. Parking was a short distance away by foot or golf cart transfers. There is a pier and gazebo which were a nice backdrop for photos at sunset with the reception held at 6 pm. We had to leave at 10 pm which might be a bit early. In retrospect, it would have been nice to be able to have the departure time be a little later, at 11.

Working with the team at the Creek Club was a true joy! From the initial site visit to the wedding day itself, the team there was absolutely fabulous to work with. They were quick in responding to emails and extremely well-organized. They had lots of photos to look through for decor ideas and really worked with us to create a menu that worked for our guests. The food was over the top! We have gotten so many compliments on the food and many have said it is the best wedding food they have ever had! The event staff of the day of the wedding was superb as well. They never left an empty plate on the table and the bar staff was able to accommodate a very busy crowd!

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and there aren't many waterfront spots in Charleston like it. We got married in the lawn overlooking the creek and live oaks and it was SO beautiful. My family and friends from PA were stunned by the beauty of the location--and I think we may even have a few coming back for return visits. It was also nice to the wide Charleston porches and the reception inside in case of inclement weather. It is hands down the BEST venue in Charleston :)

My husband and I knew immediately that the Creek Club was the venue for us. The site is gorgeous and has a good option for rain. Pam, Viva and Peggy were great about answering all our questions and giving us suggestions for vendors since it was a destination wedding. Carter's Kitchen catered it and we stayed at the Inn at I'On. Food was amazing as were the lodgings. Pam and Viva were also our wedding planners and they were incredibly organized. We had a very detailed schedule which allowed me to relax. During the wedding and reception they made sure everything went smoothly. I can't say enough wondeful things about the Creek Club!

We loved the Creek Club! They were great to work with. We visited the site on several occasions so show other people and it was never a problem. They worked with us on the food, which was amazing!!! The staff was great. We never had any problems come up. We were very happy and we received many compliments on the venue.

The Creek Club is one of the most beautiful sites in Charleston to have an event, which is why I gave the value 3 stars. The owner was unbelievably rude and inflexible with our requests, which were small adjustments to the menu (in order to better accommodate our guests). He was not only rude to the person paying the bill for the wedding, but he even talked badly about this person to our guests. Additionally, some of his staff seem to be very frightened by him, which is a statement on its own. His staff also have very different information. Each time I asked a question, I got opposing answers from two different people. When given feedback, the owner responded with a very defensive response. This does not seem to be good customer service. It was a great day and it's a beautiful location--but a pity that the Creek Club has changed hands and now has this owner.

The entire staff at the Creek Club was great to work with. We were coming from out of state and they were very flexible with what we wanted. It rained right before the wedding and the staff brought up all the chairs on the deck and moved things around to our liking. The service and food was amazing. We had both the wedding and the ceremony at the Creek Club and everything turned out great. Thank you very much for all your hard work before and after the wedding.

The Creek Club was PERFECT!!! It even rained and no one seemed to mind since everyone was inside or on the huge porch. Absolutely gorgeous location that captures the beauty of Charleston!

Great location on the marsh! It was the perfect space for our rehearsal dinner.

The Creek Club features 5,000 square foot of event space, a catering kitchen, spacious porches, wonderful view of the marsh, high ceilings, and hardwood floors. It was plenty of space for our 125 guests to drink, dance, and relax. The porches are perfect for cocktail tables and the bar and the best place to watch the sunset.
The rental included the use of tables and chairs.
The staff was friendly and they provide help with set up and break down service.

The Creek Club was perfect for my reception. I loved having it on the water, and the building is just gorgeous. The porches are beautiful, and we still got great use out of them even though our wedding was in January. It really has a great Southern/lowcountry feel.

As a professional wedding musician, I have performed many weddings at the Creek Club at I'On. This is a beautiful location to get married! It is right along the water, has a beautiful lawn for outdoor weddings and a wonderful building that is always decorated very elegantly to have your reception (or move your wedding indoors if the weather is inclement). It has a wonderful Low Country feel with an elegant charm. I highly recommend it!

Creek Club at I'On is an awesome place for your ceremony and reception. I've photographed quite a few weddings there and always look forward to my next one. I love the scenery and the atmosphere. The large wrap around porch makes it very nice for guests to spend time outside overlooking the water. The inside is very pretty and photographs well. It has everything you need to make your wedding the memorable one you always dreamed of.

Creek Club at I'On is a gorgeous venue to get married at! We've had the pleasure of photographing several weddings here, and every time, the wedding is wonderful. The food looks delicious, the staff is very accommodating, and the setting is stunning. The venue is situated right on a tidal creek with an amazing view of the river. There's a beautiful lawn, sweeping oak trees, and a quaint little dock. All of it bodes very well for wedding pictures. All in all, its one of our favorite venues in Charleston to shoot at. I cannot say enough about this GREAT venue and their staff. The Creek Club is right on the water and has the most AMAZING sunsets. The old Oaks are simply STUNNING. Their staff is attentive and has a real eye for detail. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

The Creek Club at I'On is one of my favorite venues! The porch is perfect for cocktail hour and the views of sunset are incredible. Inside is roomy but not cavernous which I, as a DJ, prefer. The accoustics are perfect and my music doesn't echo like it can in other large rooms with wooden floors. I think a wedding at the Creek Club would make any bride and groom happy ... And, yes, mothers too!

I always LOVE photographing weddings and events at the I'On Creek Club! It's such a warm and inviting venue. There are so many great locations for photographs...the beautiful path through the garden...the dramatic views of the setting sun over the marsh...the gorgeous gazebo on the boat deck...and so on. The interior is so warm and inviting. The tall ceiling with those giant rafters is a sight to behold. And the best part is it has everything you could want in one location. I highly recommend the I'On Creek Club for your wedding, private party, or corporate event!!!
