Creme de la Creme

We had our wedding cake and groom's cake done by Crème de la Crème. They had great design ideas when we had our consultation. They were a dream to see on our wedding day and they were delicious! Any questions I had, they were very quick to respond and even recommended some people for me for other items I needed. I can't believe they've been a stone's throw from my house for so long. Now that I've discovered them, we'll go to them for cakes for all of our important events!

I don't know if this place needs another review, because it's pretty much the gold standard in DFW. The cake was beautiful and delicious, and they were easy to work with. I wish that sugar and flour didn't cost so much, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Stop in and buy a slice (I recommend the strawberry), or go to one of their monthly open houses (first Saturdays) and you'll be hooked.

We went to a few different cake shops, and we kept coming back to this one. They are a little more expensive, but well worth it. The cake was delicious, and we had many people tell us how much they enjoyed it. They also encouraged us to shop around, which I appreciated.

These people made the most amazing wedding cake and grooms cake for my daughter! They worked hours with my daughter to make changes and look at her pictures and never hesitated to take on the grooms cake that was their design. And when they showed up all the guests could not believe both cakes and how fabulous they were. People were taking pictures with the groosm cake because they had never seen something so amazing!!!

Wedding cake is a major investment. However, I would do it all again, thanks to Creme de la Creme. My cake was not only fabulous and original, but it was delicious. I barely had any left over after the wedding. My guests were all asking about the cake baker. It was definitely the focal point of the room.

This place has the best cakes!! They are delicious and beautiful! The people there took the time to have several tastings and planning periods with us until we got exactly what we wanted. The cakes can be a little pricey if you want a specialty cake, but they have several cakes that just as beautiful and tasty for affordable prices. My husband wanted a cake in the shape of a Dallas Cowboys star, and they did it! It was a big hit at the wedding! I brought them a photo of the cake I wanted for my wedding cake and they made it look exactly like the photo. If nothing else, schedule a tasting to try out these delicious cakes!

Creme de la Creme created a gorgeous bridal cake for our wedding! Their lace decor decorations were exactly how I imagined them and complimented the lace on my dress very well. Most importantly, the cake tasted DELICIOUS!!! We can't wait to have more on our one-year anniversary! Thank you :)

Creme de la Creme was very easy to work with and they understood what I was looking for quickly. It only took 2 meetings to pick my cakes and we were thrilled with how they both turned out. The designs were exactly what we wanted and the taste was fantastic. I got so many compliments on how good our cakes were! Definitely a place to go for any cake you need.

Wow! That is all I have to say. We had the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. Since I was a little girl I had always dreamed of my perfect wedding which included a perfect cake. I went in there with ideas and their cake team brainstormed with my ideas to create the perfect wedding cake. It was the focal point of our wedding, being that it was 6 levels and decorated like a piece of art. We had a celebrity cake at a normal budget. I will be using them again!

Both of the cakes at our wedding was awesome. I have never had cake at a wedding that was as moist as the cake at our wedding. I had the white cake with lemon butter-cream filling and it has to be the best cake I have ever had. The cake was completely gorgeous also. There were so creative and had the best ideals. They also do what they can to save you from have more cake than you need. I wanted the WOW affect with my cake, but only needed to feed 130 people. I had a 4 tear cake with 4 mini tears. They only recommended that I make one tear real. This saved us so much money and we didn't have more cake that we needed. They made the perfect amount. I will continue to use Creme De La Creme for any cake needs I will have in the future.

Creme De La Creme makes gorgeouse wedding cakes. This was our favorite pick from many places we looked. It was such a professional setting when we went in to taste the different types of cakes. They really worked with us on helping us come up with a cake and when I changed my mind they were so cordial about it. They delivered on a Sunday and had it set up and ready at the time they stated.
The cake was awesome. We can't wait to eat the top layer on our first anniversary. Love them!!!

I spent a lot of time emailing back and forth with Jamie and some other ladies before I decided to go with Creme de la Creme. My dream wedding cake was actually cupcakes and I felt that they had good prices compared to some other bakeries I talked to. Then I went to a cake tasting (they have an open house style cake tasting once a month, I think) and the cake was good. I fell in love with the almond cake with chambord buttercream (yum). Jamie was very helpful and informative during that tasting. After that, I did almost everything via email since I live out of town. I mailed them a color swatch and paid my deposit by phone. Later in the process, my husband and I came in for our final tasting. He loved the cupcakes and they were able to get my blue color to come out pretty, even with the pink tinted buttercream, which was a surprise to all of us! Lauren was very helpful in making sure my topper would be secure on my cutting cake and my cake stand would look pretty and fit everything nicely. I felt like everything would turn out well and that I was taken care of. Once I finally saw my cupcakes and cutting cake on the big day, I was very pleased. They matched my blue color swatch very well and the design on the cutting cake was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend them and I would also recommend doing cupcakes if you're not set on a traditional cake. It'll save you lots of money!

Mmmmm good! Our cakes actually looked better than the picutes that we saw! DH marveled at how good his cake looked as did I. Don't get me wrong, the pics were GREAT. Somehow, the final product was better!! Everyone LOVED the cakes!!! They were also really nice to work with and very helpful. They have an open house. Call them to see what Saturday. It'll be so much guily pleasure! :)

Creme de la creme was awesome! The cakes were delicious, and beautiful. The grooms cake ended up much larger and better than we ever imagined it would. They were professional, on time, and no hassle at all. Wonderful!

DELICIOUS! We had a small wedding, so we did not have a groom's cake, but I don't think anyone would have eaten it with how amazing the red velvet bridal cake tasted! I am not usually one for loving wedding cakes, but wow! We had a bunch of friends who definitely had more than one piece! Creme de la creme is also great with helping put your thoughts into a beautiful presentation, whether it be simple (like ours was) or something more ornate (which we saw at the bakery).

I was dissaponinted in this compant so much hype and on the wedding day they really let me down. They had some girl i had never seen finishing the design on my cake at the venue when I got their and it looked like it was thrown together. Was not how we planned it.

1. Cake topper fell off minutes after they left, BEFORE MY CEREMONY because they did not skewer it in. It ruined the frosting on one side of my cake. 2. The anniversary tier was the wrong flavor. 3. The writing was childish and unprofessional compared to the excellent work I know they can produce.
I'm sorry to say I have to leave a bad review. The cake was one of the most delicious cakes I have ever tasted. However, it was my wedding cake and it tasted WAY better than it looked. I felt that the cake was unprofessionally done and was very upset that I had to fix my wedding cake with a butter knife and push in my own cake topper after falling off. (It looked terrible) When I notified Creme de la Creme of all the things that went wrong, Jamie the owner only tried to prove me wrong. She offered me a gift certificate of $22 for a new cake tier for my anniversary next year. That defeats the purpose of having the cake that was AT MY WEDDING. I felt that was an insult. I can't even buy a dozen of her cupcakes for that much. The wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception decor, and she ruined mine. Our wedding cake has gotten so many compliments! Many people made a point to tell me after the wedding that it was the most delicious wedding cake they have ever tasted. I can't wait for our first anniversary so we can devour the top tier! I am typically not a fan of wedding cake designs, but I found one that I loved, loved, loved at Creme de la Creme and it fit with the evening perfectly! Very professional counselors helped me with my order and there were zero issues with delivery to downtown Dallas. Thanks for the great experience and service!

Creme de la Creme did our Groom's Cake for our wedding! We asked for a cake replica of our boat. It was beyond perfect. They captured every detail right down to the key in the ignition and the ice in the cooler. It was truly one of the highlights of our wedding. Not only was it designed perfect... it was quite tasty... try the Grand Marnier with Chocolate Buttercream... absolutely deliscious!!! Our wedding was in Austin and we had to transport it... they did a great job of letting us know the best way to transport it and store it once we got there! They even called the hotel we were staying at too make sure the refridgerator was large enough.... talk about going above and beyond!!! Thank you Creme de la Creme!!!

This was absolutely one of the best cakes I have ever had. They did a beautiful job and gave me exactly what I wanted. The groom's cake was adorable and was the most popular of the night. It was fun working with them and I would do it again.

Best cake I have ever had.

I had an amazing experience with Creme de la Creme. We did cupcakes for our wedding they were perfect. Jamie is so fun to be around and has so much energy that it's contagious. Our consultations were great and she made sure we had everything we wanted and was great about letting us know when certain things were going to cost more and working with us to bring the price down if we needed to. Their cake is AMAZING!!!

All I had to to was have one meeting and make some vague references to what I wanted in a wedding cake, and they put together the most classy cake of my dreams! It was SO much better looking and tasting than I ever envisioned :)

Creme de la Creme makes incredible cakes! Our wedding cake was not only beautiful, it was really tasty and our guests loved it. The Chambord filing was WONDERFUL - my husband and I were hooked on it during our tasting with the bakery.

I opted for a cupcake wedding cake instead of a traditional cake and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Suzy did a wonderful job helping me design the cake and pick out the perfect details.

They were very good at having the cake that I wanted and nailing the design. However, every time I called they were always "booked" for months out. It made it hard to find time to go and talk to someone.

Creme de la Creme is the best! From the minute we walked in the door, they were professional and help us at every turn. Suzy was the best at drawing up my vision and made me feel as though I was the most important person. I checked out lots of other cake places but we were ready to sign the moment we left our meeting. They made it so easy.....and the cake was amazing!!!!! Even the Mother-of-the-groom went on and on about how moist and wonderful the grooms cake was. I was so happy about that because I didn't eat much of it. I was so in "love" with how my own cake tasted. They even put a photo of my cake in their photo page. We absolutely LOVED our cake. After our initial meeting, we didn't have to worry about anything. The cake tasted amazing and it looked spectacular. The price was a bit more than we budgeted, but turned out to be worth it. We did have to supply our own ribbon decoration on the cake, so make note if you go this route. The taste testing is by far the best part of wedding planning---and they give you 12 generous servings of the most amazing cakes you have ever tasted!

Creme de la creme did an amazing job on my wedding cake. I surprised my husband to be with a replica cake of the TCU football stadium and it spectacular. Everyone at the wedding was in awe of it. Not only are their cakes beautiful and creative they are delicious! If I never need a cake again for an event again I will definitely use Creme de la Creme!

We did a cupcake tower for our wedding, and it was awesome! We got so many compliments on the look and the taste. It was the moistest cake and creamiest frosting... I can't wait to eat the top for our year anniversary! I would definitely recommend the white cake with coconut frosting =)

Our cake was absolutely delicious! Jamie worked with us to create exactly what we had in mind, and it was absolutely perfect. And tasted amazing! We liked it so much that on our 1 year anniversary we ordered a very small cake to enjoy again! She was a little pricey, but we really felt like she was worth it!

I did not want a traditional wedding cake. So I went with Cupcakes that were a hit & Creme de la Creme set the cupcakes up to resemble a HUGH wedding cake. When it was time to serve the cupcakes the guest wanted to know how we would cut the cake, but when they seen that they were cupcakes they were floored

We went with this company because they were the lowest price from the 4 places we went but still seemed to be able to pull off the cakes we wanted. They did a great job with the cakes and everyone said they were the best cakes they had ever eaten. If you have a picture of your cake, that is the easiest way to go. It's best to have an idea of what you want ahead of time. They did a great job and had a pretty good eye for detail. On one cake, the lines they drew weren't as straight as we would have liked, but besides that the cakes were great. The company is a little scatter brained at times. We had a few phone calls back and forth to clear up some things that I thought were already clear at the first appointment. But they really did do a great job and helped our budget!

I found Creme de la Creme the same time my best friend (who also was getting married) did. She found them from another friend, I found them thru an open house at a reception facility. We both told each other about these amazing cakes, not realizing that we were talking about the same place until we went in for our tastings together. Jamie uses the freshest ingredients in her cakes. I LOVE cakes, and our wedding cake was the BEST I have ever tasted. The service was awesome. We took several pictures to our consultation and Jamie was able to capture exactly what we wanted and the finished product was absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed. (We had the White with Chambord Buttercream icing.)

The quality was great and the prices were competitive (we visited 6 bakeries in the D/FW area).
Our cake was about 6 feet tall when it was on the cake table. It was beautiful. We also ordered a groom's cake. Everyone loved the flavors (bride's white with blackberry filling and the groom's cake was chocolate with caramel filling). The fillings were not too sweet and the tartness of the blackberry was great.
Suggestions: They tried to talk us into ordering less cake. I am glad I didn't listen. We ordered one slice per guest of the wedding cake and 1/2 slice per guest of the groom's cake. We were completely out when everyone was served! We were hoping to have a few extra slices to take home.

The cake they made for me was exquisitely beautiful and the tastiest cake I've ever had. We received so many compliments on it at the wedding. My husband and I freezed the top tier and ate it on our first anniversary, and it tasted as delicious as it had on our wedding day.

When you go for your tastings and to finalize your arrangements with them, go at lunch time and order the chicken salad sandwich. I don't even *like* chicken salad and I still fantasize about theirs.

We will have small round replicas made of our wedding cake for years to come. I would go there again and again for any cake or cupcake. Simply delicious.

The cakes are gorgeous and oh my gosh delicious!! I not only used them for my wedding but have referred them to 3 other weddings and everyone has used them and loves them. 5 stars all the way.

This was the best wedding cake I've ever tasted. Several of my guests mentioned how delicious both of our cakes were. We love Creme de la Creme so much that we go back for our anniversary and buy a topper just like our wedding cake (same flavor and icing) and enjoy it with our anniversary dinner. Excellent bakery to use!

Creme de la Creme was great! The lady who owns the bakery and does most of the baking (forgot her name) is soo sweet and personal. She made you feel like you were special and your day was too! The cakes she makes are awesome taste great, she doesn't freeze them, and during hte cake tasting you can try about 15 different kinds, but she can still make more! The look of her cakes are very professional and every one ooohed and ahhed!
