Crowne Plaza Hotel Dayton

My wife liked it, but I think it was silly to spend so much money on a room that we spent only 8 hours in. We were suppose to check in at midnight, but we stayed at our party until 2am. I remember that we were shown to our room, which was a normal looking hotel room. We also had to check out the next morning, and because of our flight, we didn’t stay for breakfast. The staff was nice, but I would have rathered stayed at some hotel that didn’t cost almost $200 a night.

This was an excellent gift from my father-in-law. They were very professional and efficient. We showed up at midnight and we were brought to a beautiful room. There was champagne and chocolates waiting for us, and my wife loved everything about our room. I think it was an executive suite and not a regular room. It had a small desk, seating area, and also a huge bathroom. We didn’t need to check out before noon. It was one of the nicer hotels that I stayed at.

Our hotel was great. I loved that it was less than a 10 minute drive from the restaurant, mainly because I was slightly drunk and I would have vomited in the car had the ride been longer. We ordered a room with a jacuzzi tub, which was nice. At the time I kept thinking that I really hope the cleaning ladies do a good job and scrub the bathtub well. The bed was comfy, and in the morning part of our package include breakfast in bed. They sent us up a continental breakfast. It was small but pretty good. I looked horrible after the wedding, and I wished I would have remembered to bring my own shampoos and stuff like that. I was smart enough to bring a change of clothing, other wise I would have left in my wedding dress.

My husband and I had the most beautiful room on our wedding night. The best man and the bridesmaids went ahead of time to the room and put rose petals on the bed and put a bottle of champagne. I wanted to continue dancing and partying, but once I stepped into the room I was soo happy to be there! The room was pretty, the shower had good water pressure, they had dry cleaning service, and it was nice to just sit and look out the window with my husband. We were also allowed to have a late check out, which was great because I slept until 12. I was exhausted, and I was exhausted for a good two weeks following the wedding.

The Crowne Plaza is a beautiful hotel in downtown Dayton. We were exhausted after our reception, and so hungry! We spent our wedding night here. We took some of the money we got at the wedding and ordered room service. It was a very comfortable room equipped with a care package of linen spray, ear plugs and other comfort items.
