I had my wedding ceremony and reception at The Currituck Club in Corolla. Because the weather wasn't ideal for my sound-side ceremony (there was a hurricane), Ashley and her team were able to come up with a few different options as to how we could rearrange things the day before. It wasn't the wedding that we had planned on initially, but with the help of the amazing staff at TCC, it was absolutely the wedding of my dreams!! The staff was really friendly and attentive, without ever being pushy or in the way. The food was awesome. I might be a little biased, but I think it was the best wedding food I've ever had!! I was even able to make special requests and sort of customize the menu. The venue is beautiful and they really do take care of everything! Myself and my family didn't have to do a thing, except enjoy the day!! I would HIGHLY recommend The Currituck Club! We might even come back when there's not a hurricane and try the sound-side ceremony space for a vow renewal! :)

We were very happy with our decision to have The Currituck Club as our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner venue. The food was delicious and they went out of their way to make sure that most all of the food was gluten free. My sister and I both have a gluten intolerance and we were both able to eat most of the food. They even went out of their way to make us gluten free crabcakes, which my sister and I haven't eaten a crabcake since going gluten free! We had our reception on the veranda outside which is a very pretty space. They have it nicely landscaped with beautiful flowers and plants that are in season. Ashley, the Wedding Coordinator, was very helpful throughout the whole planning process! She was very kind, professional and attentive to our needs.

I had both my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at the Currituck Club this fall. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, fun, and professional. Ashley, the wedding coordinator at the Club, was very easy to communicate with and very receptive to everything that we wanted. I always felt like I was her first priority when we spoke. She offered helpful suggestions and truly made everything run smoothly...no stress! When I came into the Club for our reception, feeling very crabby and hungry, Ashley had food waiting for my new husband and I, and had a room waiting where we could have a few quiet moments together! Ashley also quickly and expertly pinned up my wedding dress, which had ripped in the back after the ceremony. I was then able to go mingle with our guests feeling much happier and more like myself.
All of our family and friends were impressed by how beautiful the Club was, and by the friendly staff! I would encourage any Outer Banks future bride to choose the Currituck Club if you want a stress-free, fun, and beautiful experience. The staff will work very hard to ensure that your night is unforgettable. My husband and I are thrilled with the wonderful memories of our rehearsal dinner and our reception there.
You can't go wrong by choosing to celebrate with the Currituck Club!

They threw away my ENTIRE wedding cake!!! We had 27 guests and a cake that feeds over 60 and they threw it all away. Every time someone put their half drank wine glass down they would throw it out. It was a waste of alcohol, cake and food. The staff was very helpful and professional.

The Currituck Club was my dream location for my wedding. The location was absolutely beautiful and my guests still tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The food was FABULOUS and the staff was so friendly to all of my guests. We had our ceremony outside in the veranda, a cocktail hour upstairs in their clubhouse and dinner and dancing back outside under a tent and the veranda. I was worried they wouldn't be able to handle the large number of guests that I had, but they were so great with everyone. The event planner at the club is so great and excited to help you with all the small details of your wedding. I couldn't imagine my wedding could have been any more beautiful or fun:)
Currituck Club is basically a golf shop with a dining room, bar, and outdoor area. You can't see the sound or the beach from there. There's a great outdoor space that is covered for dancing. They offer buffet/stations for a good price. We didn't choose this place because it lacked character. It is just a regular country club-type atmosphere. The prices are good though and the staff was really, really friendly. The top wedding planner suggested this place as a great rehearsal dinner place, but it's pretty pricey for that. It leaves a classy impression, but we're more casual and un-classy, so it didn't work for us!
The Currituck Club is a great location for an Outer Banks wedding. With an elegant indoor space, an excellent outdoor wedding setup and an award winning golf course, they offer versatility as a venue for weddings big and small.
