Custom Cakes by Dorothy

We loved our cake from Custom Cakes by Dorothy. It not only looked great, but it tasted great too! Dorothy is the sweetest lady. When you go for your tasting appointment, she has tons of books to look through to select the design of the cake and then she will put together a few cake/filling combos for you to try. She also dispenses a little marriage advice during the tasting which my husband and I thought was really sweet.

She doesn't have a typical retail, storefront bakery, so her hours are someone limited when she sees customers -- Tues through Sat from 10 am to noon. The rest of the time she is baking. Because of that, there is not a lot of flexibility for tasting appointments, dropping checks off, etc. But this is a small concession for the quality and value of the cake you will get from Dorothy. I highly recommend Custom Cakes by Dorothy and will be ordering an anniversary cake from her next year!
