Working with Diann was a dream come true. She pampered me on my wedding day in a way that made me feel like a princess. She also did my Mom's wedding day makeup. We both were extremely pleased with her friendliness and professionalism.

I loved working with Diane for my wedding! She was so sweet and very professional. The make up looks great in pictures and the photographers love it! She makes sure the bride is taken care of and is wonderful at listening to what the bride wants. Definitely recommend!

I bought a package from her that included makeup for our engagement pictures, & wedding day makeup for myself & my mom. For the engagement picture makeup I went to her studio....it is decorated so beautifully! On the wedding day, she came to the venue (Annabella) to do our makeup. She was already there, set up & ready to start when we arrived. I found Diane on weddingwire & at first I was hesitant to hire someone I found online but I went ahead & I'm SO GLAD I did!!!! She even helped my mom out with her dress! She really went above & beyond for us & we appreciate it so much! Diane is really talented & I'm so glad she was a part of my wedding day!!!

An amazing artist!

Wow, first let me start by saying she is absolutely AMAZING!!! I selected the bridal package that includes the make-up consultation, along with my make-up being done on my wedding day. I chose to have my consultation done the morning of my bridal brunch, which was the day before my wedding. Upon entering her beautifully decorated venue, I was immediately at ease. With her fun, easy-going personality, we instantly "clicked". At the end of the consultation, I was blown away!! It was simply gorgeous. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and I received tons of compliments. She writes down everything she uses if you want know the exact shade or color for future reference. Needless to say, I purchased everything! Whenever there is a special event, my make-up will be done by her. She is truly talented and I highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks Diann!!!

Diann is hands down the best makeup artist I have ever encountered.
Initially I was very skeptical and concerned about my wedding makeup prior to meeting Diann given that I do not wear a lot of makeup and have a dark complexion which seems to be very tricky for even the best makeup artists. However, with Diann this was no problem. She knew exactly what I wanted and gave me even more than I asked for. She is truly an artist and a master of her craft. Diann also has such a warm, and calming spirit that regardless of what was going on around me she was able to create such a relaxing environment that all the stress and anxiety that I had melted away. My experience with Diane was all I expected it would be. When seeking out someone to do my make-up,I did my research and what I wanted was someone to make me look natural and enhance my looks for this special event. WOW....I was blown away. I got so many compliments the entire night and even after the event was over. I would recommend Diane for your special day...she is awesome and GOD sent.

Having worked in the makeup industry and been exposed to diffrent makeup artisits I can honestly say that Diann is the best. She not only has an amazing sense of professionalism, but also has a supreme eye for perfection. And that is what any bride would want for her wedding day! The thing that I personally liked the most is that Diann takes the time to make you feel like you are the most important person in the world when you walk into her beautiful studio. She caters to your every need. This is so much better than going to a department store where you are constantly having to pause your session while a non-experienced sales associate working as a "makeup artist" stops to ring some other customer up or you have to wait forever to get what you need! With Diann you know that from the moment you meet her you are hiring a professional. I looked amazing for my engagement pictures, bridal pictures, and of course my wedding day! Diann H. Anderson at D'nani Makeup Studio did the makeup for my wedding on September 12, 2009. She drove from Huntsville, AL to Nashville, TN, the location of my wedding. She arrived early and ready to work. She did an outstanding job as my makeup artist. She applied my makeup such that it gave me a glowing, natural and elegant look. Diann is creative, professional and she listens to her clients. Her goal was to please the client by balancing her creativity and expertise with the bride's desires and the overall theme of the wedding.

D'nani is absolutely awesome. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on the day of our wedding. I am pretty good at doing my own make up but one of the best decisions I made was to work with D�nani. She made my skin look flawless and the pictures have turned out absolutely amazing. I found her make up studio on wedding wire and scheduled an appointment with her. She did a full run through a few weeks prior to the wedding to make sure that I was happy with what I would see on my wedding day and was extremely open to any suggestions I had. Her attitude is amazing and I absolutely loved working with her. She made my wedding day fun!!!

It was difficult for me to consider spending $300 on my makeup and my Maid of Honor's. However, so was so worth the price. Other, slightly cheaper, vendors in the area do a much poorer job. She is extremely good at what she does.
She is very professional. I was surprised by the number of makeup/hair places that charge you for a practice session but don't write anything down. She wrote everything down and took the right amount of effort to make sure you got the look you want. She is amazing!

Diann is such a pleasure to be around! She made me feel confident and beautiful even before the make-up was applied. She also did a wonderful job of making me feel relaxed and comfortable, which is nice when everything else is feeling hectic! I don't have enough wonderful things to say about Miss Dianne. Her personality for one is truly one of a kind. I love being in the same room with her, she has so much energy and it is for sure contagous! I would recommend her services to anyone for any kind of special occasion. I woke up on my wedding day with "the jitters" to say the least. I was sick to my stomach ALL DAY until I finally walked down that aisle. I had to excuse myself to the restroom 10 different times while Dianne was doing my makeup and she never once complained. She comforted me and was most importantly patient. Diann did an EXCEPTIONAL job. Not only did do my makeup EXACTLY as I envisioned, but the level of pride she took in making my time with her special; is why I can't imagine anyone better. I was introduced to Diann through my wedding planner (Faithe Sigh, Sigh Planning and Events). Based on my 'Sigh' experience, ti was the single and ONLY good thing she did for me. Because of my experience with my planner, I was a VERY stressed bride. However, whenever I was around Diann, I was at peace. She catered to me. She made me feel like my happiness and approval was her only concern in the world! It was better than any spa! The atmosphere is so peaceful and calming...it's UNBELIEVABLE! My wedding day it rained and stormed! And, everything was supposed be outside... But, because I was in the makeup studio with Diann, none of this ever phased me! I don't know what it is about her, but I was in a Zhen-like state of mind! So, when considering who does your makeup, just know, D'nani will completely take care of you! You are her #1 priority! You will be MORE GORGEOUS than you ever imagined! And the experience is REMARKABLE!

Diann truly went above and beyond to make sure that I was absolutely beautiful and stress-free the day of my wedding. She actually did my make up three different times and each time turned out perfectly. My wedding had several ups and downs and Diann's make up did not budge, even through the tears. Even after a slight miscommunication due to a third party, Diann stepped up and fixed a problem that someone else had created. Her goal is that her brides feel completely confident in her services and the last thing they should have to worry about is one more thing. Diann not only came to our venue the day of the wedding but also arrived early just to ensure that she would have plenty of time. Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the most memorable moments in your life. However when the chaos of the day kicks, and everything is in a whirlwind, there should always be a peaceful non-worry free moment. That was my experience with Diann. Peace in the Storm. I didn’t have to worry about what I was going to look like when she was done with my makeup. We had consultations, e-mail and phone conversations. We not only talked about my makeup, but my bridesmaid’s makeup also. Diann was so available, willing, understanding, and enduring that by the time the wedding day came around she had already gained my trust and confidence. So for me there were no worries…Why? Because when someone is so passionate and customer oriented as Diann, her quality of work is clearly proven when she hands you the mirror and asks you “do you like it, are you satisfied”? And after any last minute changes (if there needs to be any changes at all!) you simply look up at her and say “Awwww I’m so beautiful!!” And trust me you will look and feel that way throughout the rest of your special day knowing through it all, in the back of your mind your saying "yep my makeup is on POINT!!!!!!"

Dian is AMAZING. I've never thought of myself as a person who can "carry" makeup, and I don't wear much makeup. Dian did the makeup for both my engagement and bridal portrait pictures, as well as on my wedding day. I looked like myself, but a totally glammed up and elegant version of myself. My pictures looked natural, and my makeup stayed on.

Dian is the quintessential professional. She is timely, polite, and friendly. I had a huge wedding party, and she did all of their makeup. Every one looked soft, yet glamorous, and all of my bridesmaids (who were a variety of shades) looked lovely and talked about how much they enjoyed the experience.

To that end, that's what makes Dian's services even more special. It's not about "doing your makeup" or "making sure that you look good." She made a very hectic day quite relaxing for me and my bridal party. The experience of having my makeup done by hair calmed me, because I trusted her and could depend on her to do a great job. She is very friendly and takes pride in her work. I appreciated knowing that I could hand this over to her, and she handled her job professionally and efficiently.

I was undergoing chemotherapy during my engagement and bridal sessions and even on my wedding day. Everyone said "We would have never known how sick you were." Dian, "thank you for bringing me 'to life'"! You made me feel really special and I think of you when I see the pictures.

Whether you are a makeup, or NON makeup person (like me), you NEED D'nani!!! My husband thinks I'm beautiful, and thought I was being silly to book a makeup artist, but the moment he saw me, he was starstruck. He LOVED how D'nani was able to show a 'red carpet' me that still looked fresh and natural like I always do. She has packages for everyone, and she's a joy to be around. She's upscale, yet affordable and has the best wine and chocolates around! Call her!!!!

When I started planning my wedding, I was on a TIGHT budget. I was told by someone that I needed to get a professional make up artist but when I looked at my budget I thought it would be impossible to do so. After discussing it with my fiance, he showed me how adamant he was about me getting my make up professionally done. I had a co-worker who HIGHLY recommended Diane to do my makeup. I set an appointment and she did my consultation. When I say, that I had NEVER felt so pretty in makeup. I never knew that my face could look so flawless. The day of my wedding was of course even better. I glowed the whole day. My husband was highly satisfied with the results. I was Diane's walking model and everyone loved it. The one thing that I really enjoyed was being in her office with just her and I. I know some brides or Wedding planners will say that you need to have the make up artist come to you and Diane would have done so but I opted to go to her office. There I was able to relax. I didn't feel rushed and I had a good experience. So my recommendation is if you have time and you just need a breather on the most important day of your life, going to her office where it is relaxed and comfortable may be a good idea. It kind of took my mind of the events ahead and got me in the moment. Not to mention she has treats to eat. LOL. Thanks Diane!

Diane did a wonderful job on my makeup! It was smooth and flawless. She came to the wedding venue to do my makeup so that made my wedding day a lot less stressful not having to go place to place to get ready. It's definitely worth the money!!

Diann was absolutely wonderful!! At first, I was one of those brides that thought I could do my makeup myself. Thankfully my girlfriends convinced me that having my makeup done for my wedding would be worth the cost...and it was!!! Diann is so easy to work with and having her come to the church made things so easy. She was on location before I even made it! I looked absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day - she completely transformed my look while at the same time making it look so natural and so me. My makeup lasted from the time she put it on (around noon) until I took it off that night in my honeymoon suite. I highly recommend Diann! Not only is she professional but she is great at what she does!

I knew I would need a make up artist for the wedding because I wanted the bridesmaids and myself to look flawless for the wedding. The problem was I did not know where to start looking for a make up artist. Thank goodness one of my bridesmaids knew of Diann Anderson and gave me her business card.
When I called her the first thing she suggested was the pre-bridal session. I thought this was a wonderful idea, this way I can see what I am getting before my wedding day.
I was in a whirlwind, trying to do so many things for my wedding that I ended up pushing my pre-bridal session appointment to the morning of the rehearsal dinner. I thought I was doomed! I had only spoken to Diann a few times over the phone.
I arrived at the studio with all kinds of preconceived notions about the situation, mainly because I did not know what to expect. I do not typically wear much make up and on top of that I had never had my make up professionally done! When I walked into the studio I was impressed. The décor was comfy, stylish, and clean everything looked legit, I felt better right away! So I sat down and we just talked for awhile about the wedding, my dress, my hair and how I wanted to look for that special day. While she did my make up we talked about the wedding and where my husband and I where going for our honeymoon. Before I knew it she was done, I stood to look in the mirror, (Praying to myself, “God please do not let me look like a clown.”) I finally looked up … the make up was so smooth on my skin and it blended so well! I liked it so much I decided to where it all day to see how it felt and I wanted to know if it will keeps fresh look. It did not take long to get use to. The make up was so light; I forgot I was wearing any. She brought out all my features, my eyes were smoking, the cheek bones looked perfect, and my lips popped with a soft pink lipstick and a clear gloss overlay. The make up lasted ALL DAY and loved it!!!
On my wedding day I was so beautiful and I don’t mind saying so myself! By having Diann do my make up that was one less thing I had to worry about on my wedding day! I knew I was in good hands!!
