Reviews for Bridal Shows Inc.

I attended the Dallas Bridal show this summer and I found it extremely helpful. Parking was crazy and the location was somewhat hard to find, but it was worth the hassle. I felt like a princess when we got in. I got a free bride button, planner, and you could purchase stickers with your contact information to give to vendors. Trust me those stickers are an absolute must. you will be writing all of your contact information for every vendor that interests you and trust me it gets annoying; just buy the stickers. One down fall is that there wasn't a concession stand. I was there for 3 hours and I left because I was hungry and tired.

The bridal show was SO fun! It was extremely helpful and had a TON of vendors! There was cake tasting and caterers that had food! YUM!

You can get a coupon for free entry to the bridal show online. I recommend bringing printed return address labels with your name, phone number, email address and mailing address. I didn't find the expo to be very useful except in filling up my email inbox, but I possibly didn't go at the right time. I went early in my planning process and didn't know exactly what I needed. I also am not getting married in Dallas, so much of the info wasn't relevant. If I had an opportunity to go to a show like this in the city (or country) where we are getting married, it would have been useful. I will likely use some of the info for things like choosing invitations, but overall, I didn't find attending the bridal show to be beneficial, certainly not worth paying for admission.

I went to the Dallas Bridal Show to help jump start some ideas, and really what it did was help me decide what NOT to do. If you want a very basic, maybe somewhat cheesy wedding come to this Bridal Show. Don't get me wrong, I like classic weddings, but when they are done right. I'm a very untraditional bride however, and I wanted everything to be unique and ordinary just like my husband and my styles. I mean, after all it is your wedding, and hopefully your only one. Why not make it unique and stand out so you remember and your family/friends.
You pretty much get the David's Bridal and The Alfred Angelo's of dresses, ice sculptures and your flowerily tiered cakes. AND they make you give your contact information to try to convince you that you will win a free honeymoon, and i still have not stopped getting spam mall from 2007. UGH!
My recommendation, ditch the Bridal Show and ask your fiends and family for advice on what they did. Not to mention, it's your wedding. Do what YOU want.

My maid of honor, my mother, and I had a blast at the bridal show. All of the vendors were thorough in their marketing attempts and they made this a fun filled day for us. From eating marshmallows and strawberries from the chocolate fountains, to sipping champagne, and trying on bridal dresses..this day was a great day for me as a bride to be.

Lots of vendors to choose from. Good exhibits.
