Bill and I would like to say thank Derek and the team for a wonderful job at our wedding on May 4th! From the music, to the lighting, and all the details, you truly made our wedding spectacular, and kept the dance floor ON FIRE throughout the night! You were so professional and would strongly recommend Dance Masters for all brides and grooms to be out who are planning their weddings. Derek was such a nice and easy going person to work with and made sure that all our favorite hits were played! I truly thank you and Dance Masters for your superior excellence!

Carly and Tim were amazing! They kept the dancefloor full and made sure that everything went smoothly. It was great to know that we didn't have to worry at all about the music and timeline of the evening.

Derek Heckler from Dance Masters was the Deejay for my wedding. We found Derek because he was the deejay for our friends' wedding almost a year earlier. We were super impressed at his performance at their wedding and knew he'd be great at ours. Well, we were not disappointed! Derek was amazing. He had great ideas/suggestions for what music to use for our special dances and introductions and really ran with our 'Back to the Future' theme! He was extremely flexible when my family contacted him (behind our backs) to incorporate a slide show presentation into the festivities. It was clear that Derek has a lot of experience deejay-ing all kinds of weddings - he was quite comfortable leading the fun. He helped to get our guests out onto the dance floor by demonstrating some of the dances. I can't even express how pleased I am with Derek. In every encounter with him, he treated us like we were friends and not just "clients". If you choose Derek, you will not be disappointed.

Don and Sue were awesome. Not only did they do an awesome job keeping the dance floor full, but they provided many other value added services. Sue help with getting the guys flowers on their tuxes. She also made sure I got a drink and food during our picture hour. They made our wedding very memorable not only for us, but for all of our guests. In a heart beat I would use them again and again. Thanks to Dance Masters for being just that great.

I was the matron of honor in a wedding on Friday night. These two were the highlight of the evening! Sue made sure the party was going, don played the best music to get people on the floor. Not only were they professional they were personable to the entire crowd. Sue helped me bustle the bride, and was getting people drinks when they needed. I've been to many events and hands down these were the best deejays I've ever heard! I look forward to checking out their other events. The best word that I can think of to describe our experience with Sue and Don is AMAZING! My wedding was on March 22, 2013 and we planned the whole thing in 6 weeks. Our wedding was at La Fontaine Bleue and they are actually the ones that recommended Dance Masters to us. What a blessing they were to us! They made everything so easy! Two days before the wedding, I was looking at the YouTube videos of previous wedding Sue and Don had done. Originally, we were on a very tight budget and decided not to go with the lighting package and just use the DJ service. While watching the videos, I decided I had to have the lighting! I called Don and in such a short time was able to come up with a beautiful lighting plan for us. It made the whole reception. It gave such a party atmosphere and also made it really fun for the guests to get up and dance. Sue was the MC and like a second Matron of Honor to me. She made sure all of my needs were met, she even went so far as to help bustle my dress (which was a pretty painful dress to wear. The dress was so heavy and sequined on the top that it was cutting my arms. Sue had someone go to the store for me and buy me baby powder to help! How many other "DJ's" would do that??) Don kept the music flowing all night and never missed a beat. Sue was up on the dance floor all night encouraging the guests to dance and have a great time. Wonderful, wonderful people. Don and Sue are the best DJs we could have ever asked for! They provided the best service and were extremely accommodating of our crazy schedules. Don is an amazing DJ with an encyclopedic knowledge of music. Sue is one of the most charismatic MC's that I've ever seen. Dance Masters even provided a phenomenal videography service for our wedding. Everyone - don't hesitate to ask them about their videography service. It's reasonably priced and the quality is amazing.

I loved working with Sue and Don! They were wonderful! They are so very friendly. We chose Sue and Don because we had attended a wedding years ago that they worked. When we found them still around, we were so excited!

Don does a great job running the music, while Sue is excellent at MCing and working the crowd, while sticking to a strict schedule! Sue gets out there and gives lessons to the line dances and gets the crowd involved.

Everything went good. Both Sue and Don had fun personalities and kept the bridal party moving.

I cannt express enough how amazing Dance Masters are. We requested Don and Sue the owners of the company and they are truly a blessing! Being a bride on a budget and having a certain vision in mind Don and Sue were able to work with us to make our vision come to life without breaking the bank. Not only did they play EVERY SINGLE SONG requested and at the perfect time Sues entertaining and warm personality lured most of our guests onto the dance floor! She not only sang along to tunes but taught line dances for my guests. When you book dance masters you dont just get a dj behind a booth playing music. Sue acts as the brides right hand. She will make sure you have ANYTHING you need. She made sure i had time for everything without rushing my wedding. She made sure i ate, had water, kept my drinks full and did absolutely anything I needed her to do. She acts as your wedding coordinator the day of the wedding. I will admit I was having a few Bridezilla moments before entering the reception. Don and Sue completely turned my night around. All of my guests were complimenting me on my Djs. Everyone wanted their information. The lighting was great. Our wedding turned out gorgeous! Just as i pictured:)... You will feel as though you have known them for years and they will fit in with any family perfectly! They are truly great.. no not great... EXCELLENT... at what they do. I could not imagine them having a bad review. I have never felt so strongly about referring a vendor. I feel as though not only have we gained a professional relationship with Don and Sue but also a personal friendship and hope to stay in touch with them. They are a fun and engaging couple. We attended Colby and John Celmer's wedding reception last night and had a FANTASTIC time...Kudo's to Colby and John for all the hard work and creativity that went into making the night a huge success. The icing on the cake was the great DJ team, Sue and Don. They were nothing short of amazing. It was plain to see that they are very passionate about their work. They went above and beyond to make sure that every guest had a great time. They also took such great care of Colby and John that it felt like they were part of the family. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ and a great time!

We loved Sue and Don! Sue choreographed a flash mob dance with the bridal party and worked with Adam and I on our first dance. What was really amazing though was how helpful and wonderful she was on the day of the wedding. She knew exactly what I needed and was there to help myself and the bridesmaids out with all of our tasks and needs. It was incredible.
Don was wonderful, and had the whole wedding dancing the whole night. He was incredibly flexible and open to all of our diverse music. He was friendly and comforting and they both were very supportive of Adams dislike of being center stage. They were very thorough in making sure everything went smoothly the day of. I really can't say enough about them.

I couldn't be happier with Don and Sue as my DJ and emcee. When my now husband and I had our planning meeting with Don and Sue, they helped us with so many things -- from the entire day's schedule to the song for the mother-son dance. They are both so enthusiastic, and you can tell that they both enjoy what they do. I gave Don a short list of songs for the cocktail hour and reception and asked him to use his judgement on filling in the rest of the time, and he did a great job. He was very good at reading the crowd and adapting to the mood. When my husband and I had an impromptu dance during dinner, our guests started to dance along with us (much earlier than expected), and Don played the perfect songs to get practically every guest on the dance floor. Sue was also amazing! Not only did she emcee, but she was practically my day-of-wedding organizer. From the moment the ceremony started (she lined up the entire wedding party) to getting the guests outside and lined up for the sparkler exit, she was on top of everything. At one point, while I was dancing away, Sue even asked me what I wanted to drink and brought it over for me to make sure I was hydrated. She was there every step of the way to ensure that everything was running smoothly and that my husband and I were having a great time. I had so many people complimenting me on my amazing wedding planner, which had me confused at first since I didn't have a wedding planner, but I soon realized that they were talking about Sue. Sue and Don went above and beyond anything I could have imagined!

We had Sue as our dance instructor and choreographer for our first dance at our wedding and she was absolutely fantastic! Our dance was coordinated exactly to fit the lyrics of our song (which made it so much fun and easy to remember)! Sue provided us with a customized instructional dance move booklet for our dance along with a CD for both me and my husband. She made dancing so easy to learn and we were able to go at our own pace and tailor as we wanted. This was far better than Aurthur Murray who tried to pressure us into signing up for dozens of very expensive dance lessons without any choreography. Sue was so friendly and flexible with our busy schedule and meant with us as late as 9pm in the evening to practice our dance. She also gave excellent tips for wedding success! She has true talent and we would recommend her to anyone we know.

Don and Sue Fowler were AMAZING. They are nice and funny and will fulfill and track down any song you are looking for. we had Sue choreograph our first dance and with only 3 one hour lessons we had the dance of our dreams and on our wedding day we nailed it! She can take people with 2 left feet and make them dancers. Family and Friends are still talking about it. It was well within our budget and was worth EVERY penny. Thank you Don and Sue for helping us make our wedding a dream come true.

Since our wedding, I have actually had people tell me that they are JEALOUS at how good our DJ was! John Crooks from Dance Masters was perfect. Before that night, I wasn't sure whether our friends and family would really want to dance. I was totally wrong. John just kept it coming with the dance songs. The dance floor was packed with our 20- and 30-something year old friends, as well as our older family members. Since that evening, people just keep telling me how much FUN they had at the wedding, and I honestly think that John is completely to thank for that. People were actually upset when the wedding ended and John had to play the last song.

Don and Sue, the owners of the company, met with my fiance and I before hand to talk logistics. Thanks to their planning and John's awesome skills, everything went completely smoothly. I am so grateful to John and the Dance Masters team. Y'all made our wedding the tasteful, fabulous party we had hoped...

Dance Masters is a company that truly cares about their customers. I recently used Carly and Tim for my wedding, and Carly is a very caring person. My wedding venue cancelled on me 1 month before the wedding, and she called other venues for hours to help me find another one. I got compliments on the music and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. They really look out for their customers and go above and beyond what a normal DJ company would do to make you happy.

This company is wonderful for weddings. I have seen them at a couple of my friends weddings and my own wedding and everytime they have been wonderful. Sue and Carly helped choreograph our first dance which turned out wonderful. We got so many compliments from our guests about our dance. Sue and carly were very patient with us because we added our bridal party into the dance and they worked with all of us to make sure it came out great and it did! I cannot say enough positive things about this company and its djs and choregraphers. They are worth every penny. Thanks

We got married on 9/15 at the Sheraton in Towson, and we used Dance Masters Entertainment for their DJ, AV, and lighting services. Throughout the planning process, Sue and Don were extremely helpful and responsive. They had a lot of great ideas and helped us put together a timeline for our reception that flowed really well. Then, they, by far, exceeded our expectations the day of our wedding. The lighting was beautiful, and the slide show setup was perfect. The dance floor was packed, and the wedding was so much fun. We didn't give them a specific list of songs to play. We just told them what kind of music we liked, and we were so happy with the music that they chose. Having both Sue and Don there was amazing. They work so well together and really do maximize your "party time." Thank you Dance Masters for everything!!! :)

Derek Heckler, our DJ, was amazing. He went above and beyond the duties of DJ in my opinion, by catering to our needs and making sure that we were well taken care of the entire night. He really made the evening flow along superbly, and the dance floor was always crowded! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ.

Dance Masters, LLC., was the best possible DJ team we could have asked for! Husband Don is the DJ and very passionate about music and your figuring out your musical taste! Wife Sue is the voice of the evening and the coordinator/choreographer/accident-fixer extraordinaire! Sue also choreographed our first dance, the father-daughter/mother-son dance. Everything I had imagined happening in the dances, she choreographed before I even had the chance to tell her my vision…kind of eerie how she read my thoughts!
We left our first lesson practically left knowing it by heart! She made it so easy yet elegant. She listened to the words of the song and choreographed per word/verse/instrument; she added in some classic ballroom moves, but threw in a dramatic-dip here and twisty-turn there. She told us where we should be looking, when to smile, and to ‘do our own thing.’ Sue listened to what you and changed where you suggested, and edited as we went along. The parent practice was also fun, easy, and everyone really got into it! The day of the wedding none of us were even nervous, we were all just ready!
Don and Sue were a jolt of energy at our wedding and had music playing all across the board, all fun and loved tunes. This wasn’t a wedding for the younger crowd only; this had ALL ages on the dance floor. Over a month later and I am still receiving compliments that our wedding was so energetic and fun and our DJs were so entertaining. Some referred to our dances as dinner and a show! Sue was out in the crowd getting them on the floor, while Don controlled the awesome light show on the ceiling. The best part, it wasn’t too much or over the top, the music, energy, and lighting added a fun party atmosphere. It was all very inviting and extremely personal. We can’t thank Don and Sue enough for the fantastic time we spent with them before and during our wedding! I highly recommend this team to anyone who wants a vibrant and energetic atmosphere at their wedding!

hired Sue and Don (dmdeejays.com) to coordinate/DJ their wedding. Everything, from the 1st dance
rehearsal, to the ceremony, and finally to the end of the wedding reception
was so professionally executed. This team was simply wonderful -- putting up with
all of us with our never-ending questions, anxieties, etc. I honestly don't
know how they do it. By the end of the evening, I really thought of them as
friends. My husband and I had the time of our lives. The music was fabulous
(got me off my rear end and made me move!) My only regret is that the evening had to come to an end. I am re-living that lovely night over and over again -- and most likely shall do
so for a very long time. However, all good things do go by so very quickly.

Awesome job! We had Derek as our Deejay and we couldn't have been happier with the job he did. Our Photographer didn't stay for the whole wedding, so Derek was out on the dance floor snapping photos of everyone dancing and emailed them to me the very next day. He did a great job making sure everything ran on schedule the way we had planned, and was even kind enough to make sure I had drinks. Also the price was very reasonable, and your deejay/entertainment can really reflect on whether your guests have a good time or not. With that said, Dance Masters will not disappoint, I promise!

I heard a lot of good things about Dance Masters but never imagined it going this well. Tim and John took care of literally everything from Ceremony/reception music, announcements, cleaning up spills, and getting everyone together for a good time. Not to mention that when I was in a panic for deodorant, Tim pulled some out of his pocket. The music that was played was right on target with what we told them early on in the planning stages we enjoy. There was never a time I had to check with them to ensure they knew what they were doing, they were so on top of it. I really believe our special day would not have been as special without these two guys.

I also need to comment on the company as a whole. I dealt with Sue and Don when planning for my wedding and could not have asked for better service. Every time I emailed them with a question, they always returned an email or call right away. They were patient with me as I made my music selections and even suggested some music for certain dances or announcements.

Don was our DJ and Sue was our MC for our reception at Musket Ridge Golf Club. Leading up to our wedding day, we had to communicate mostly via email since my husband and I live in VA. They were always very prompt in their replies and were easy to work with. On the big day they did an absolutely fantastic job! Everyone kept raving about them during and after the reception. Don kept the vibe upbeat and going. You could tell that he loves his job and music. Sue was wonderful and did an excellent job with all the announcements and helping us keep on schedule. She was always close by to give a helping hand, such as helping with my bustle which was no small feat (four layers of delicate lace and loops of clear fishing line to tie it up). Our reception was everything we could have hoped for and we are very thankful for Don and Sue's contribution.

Don and Sue were one of the best choices I made for my wedding. They were recommended by a friend who'd been to a wedding they worked, and I'm so glad to have found them! The minute we met them, we knew they were perfect for us. The best part was having almost every guest comment on how much they loved them both! They said Don was so much fun and Sue was so kind to everyone. She was there for me any time I needed her as well! She'd bustle my dress when it came undone, give us tips on things to say and little things we could do to make our events more fun or funny for our guests. There were even little things she did that I had no idea about, but our guests saw and were all very impressed by both of them! The music was GREAT! Don had everything we asked for (and I think some of our songs were a bit obscure) and played amazing music that he knew we'd love just from getting to know our personalities. They also brought beautiful lighting that our guests are still talking about. They worked very well with our other vendors (some of which were not the best choices), and were polite and cordial to even the most difficult people. It's clear that they really are wedding experts and are probably the best at what they do. I really can't think of anything I wish they did that they didn't do, and they truly did more than I could have ever expected or asked. Thank you, Don and Sue, for making our day so much FUN!!!

I just love Sue & Don. They did so very well at are wedding and then some. They kept everyone on the toes it was no time to sit down and that was good. They kept it all in order it was so much fun. I would recommend all of you brides out there that you should get Sue & Don to do your wedding.

We were lucky enough to have Dance Masters as our wedding DJ/MC on our wedding day. Sue & Don were amazing. Over the course of the planning process, they were very responsive and helpful. The day of the wedding reception, Sue was able to deal with some last minute changes and everything went perfectly. Over the course of the day, Don set the mood perfectly, everything from soft background music for dinner to upbeat dancing at the end of the reception timeline. Many of our guests commented on how great Sue & Don were, and we were happy that they were able to make all of our special moments (first dance, etc.) so special. Sue went above & beyond from looking out for me even fixing my bustle and Don opening my car door for me while leaving on our get away car after the reception! They treated me like their own daughter who just got married! These simple gestures from them make my heart melt. They do their work with their heart & soul into it. They are amazing, I highly recommend them to any couple looking for their wedding MC/entertainment.

Derek was our DJ and Sue was our MC. They really kept the party alive and going the whole night. It was a Monday night wedding so you would think people would leave early because they have work the next day. No, more than half of the people were still on the dance floor until the very last song at 10pm. They received a lot of complements from our guests because they had such a good time.

I had DJ Tim, And he did GREAT! I can't say enough! We may of been a little bit of a pain :) Giving him lots of request lists, and overwhelming him with CD's and demands last min. But he kept up with me at every step. And had my crowd Dancing the entire time. The dinner music was wonderful and set the vintage theme I was looking for. The Dance music was everything I wanted and more. I'm so glad I listened to my DJ and let him pick alot of the music, and get out and interact with the guests. That way I didn't need to worry if I was on the dance floor or not. Tim was entertaining, DJ'ing and teaching line dances! He did a great job announcing, even adding the little funny nick names my friends and I have. I would and Do recommend him! And I still have friends asking who he was and how they can hire him for their event.

We had DJ TIM and its probaly one of the best djs we have gotten. We would defintly use them in the future for other functions. He knows all the line dance songs and can do a great micheal Jackson dance. Very nice and professional.

Dance Master's Don and Sue are awesome!! You haven't had a party until you have had them at your event. Don was so great. I knew from the moment we booked with them that our wedding guests would be dancing the night away. I don't remember there ever being a moment during our wedding when the dance floor was ever empty. The music was great and he really knows what songs to play to get your guests on the dance floor. Our wedding was pretty diverse and it was an "American & Puerto Rican" wedding and Don did such a great job mixing the Latin/salsa and the current dance songs.

They are so professional and were so helpful with any questions that we had about our wedding. They had worked at our reception venue in the past so it was nice to have some questions answered by someone that is a professional in the business and knows what goes well at a wedding. They also provided uplighting for our wedding which was also great because we did not have to use a seperate rental company for that.

Sue was so great!! She made my day so care free. She kept track of time for me and set up a timeline for us so we didn't miss anything at our reception. She helped with everything I could possibly think of. Because of her I was really able to enjoy every moment at my wedding. She also choreographed our first dance for us which was also great. Our friends and family were so excited to see our dance at our reception and we couldn't thank her enough.

Don and Sue were wonderful to work with. Sue is an amazing planner and organizer. She is very detail oriented and makes your vision a reality. They both spend alot of time before the wedding discussing timeline of the wedding day and they coordinate with other vendors involved in the wedding to make the day go as smooth as possible.
The music was over the top. There was not a minute of our wedding that there weren't people on the dance floor. They knew how to get the party going and kept it that way for the entire night. People are still commenting (almost a month later) how much fun the wedding was!!

We absolutely loved Don and Sue with DanceMasters. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. We had about 170 people and got many many compliments for weeks after (and the night of) that our weddings was one of the most fun they had ever attended. Don and Sue were great to work with and very helpful during the planning process. On the day of the wedding I am so glad we had Sue to keep everything organized and moving along - she was so great she had to bustle my dress several times! Don was fantastic - the music was great from the cocktail hour to the dance music. I never remembering hearing a song that didn't fit, and everyone danced for 4 straight hours. My husband and I aren't even that into dancing and we had so much fun. They are the best - plus the basic lighting package added a nice touch as well!

These guys are the best out there....They made our wedding so much fun and enjoyable. The music could not have been any better and they were always making sure everyone was happy and have a great time. A few of my friends even asked if they worked for the venue because they were always making sure my husband and I were always happy. If you need a DJ you have to go with these guy!!!!

I have known Don and Sue for years so when my son was planning his wedding I suggested that he look into them. To be perfectly honest, I was a bit nervous about it and I told him that I knew Don but since I had never seen his work in a professional environment, he should not take me giving him their name as a recommendation. I told him to check them out for themselves. They did and chose them. Well, it was a great event. Don really knows his music and Sue was a great MC for the event. They were far more than just wedding DJ's. They know how to read a crowd and how to get the party going and keep it going. My family tends to be very low key and sedate but they got everyone up partying and dancing. They were the very best part of the reception. If you want a great DJ team for your wedding, Dance Masters Entertainment is the very best choice.

My husband and I cannot even express how happy we are with our DJ from Dance Masters - Derek Heckler. He was absolutely amazing. From the moment we booked him until after our wedding reception was over, he was outstanding. He was very helpful and provided lots of suggestions and ideas. He was open to any changes and special requests that we had. Then the day of, he was more than just the DJ. The music was great and he kept the party going, but he would also offer to get us drinks while we were busy taking photos or stuck at our sweetheart table. He was there to help us track down the event planner and family members as needed. He was also a crowd pleaser and everyone loved him. He even offered to help us clean up and get gifts to our car afterwards! We can't say enough about him and would HIGHLY recommend him to all those looking for a DJ for any event!!

We used the Dance Masters for our company "after Holiday party. They were fantastic! The DJs were personable, very polished and fun! They were flexible with songs and they made adjustments to the play list based off of crowd reactions. The music was the perfect volume and the lighting was fantastic. They gently and expertly guided me along in the agenda and offered to make announcements on our behalf to help push the party along. I will most definitely recommend Dance Masters to all of my friends and family and use them again next year!

Honestly, I would not choose any other DJ. Don and Sue always had everyone dancing, played the best music selection, plus the songs that I had asked for, and were just a ball to have at my wedding! They made our reception absolutely the best time of our life, along with many others. Every single person at my wedding kept ranting on how they had the best time ever!! To put the icing on top of the cake, Sue was such an amazing help with the WHOLE wedding, ceremony and all! We did not have a rehearsal because we were told since we have Sue, she will help us with everything, and she sure did. Everything went so smoothly and if we did not have Sue we would've been so lost! Again, Don and Sue were amazing!

My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Don and Sue. I met the entire crew at the Timonium Bridal Expo in Jan./2011 and as soon as I heard them I knew I wanted them as my DJ/Emcee. My husband met them 2weeks before the wedding and said I had made a great choice. I loved the energy that they portayed at the bridal expo and told them that that\'s what I expected on my wedding day. My husband and I are Haitian and Puerto Rican and wanted to incorporate our music. Don did an amazing job incorporating both types of music along with hip-hop, R&B, and line dances. Sue was beyond amazing. The ceremony began a half hour later which made everything else run late but she made sure everyting ran smoothly and everything was covered. Again, I trusted them from beginning to end and was not dissapointed at all. Will definitely hire again for future events.

Dance Masters Entertainment was an amazing DJ for our wedding. We had Don and Sue as our DJ/EMCEE team and they were fantastic. They really listened to what we had to say and stuck with what we wanted. We didn't want a couple of songs played and they did just that, even when requested by one of our friends. Sue was an amazing person to have by your side on wedding day - she was on the ball with moving the wedding along and making judgement calls based on the way the night was going. She was on top of things, from assisting us all in different ways down to cleaning off the shoes of the people in the bridal party! Amazing.

Dance Masters was FANTASTIC. We had Carly and Frank, and they were the best! Our family danced the entire time, there was never a dull moment. It was like Frank read my mind with music selection, and Carly was a life saver. Actually, during my father/daughter dance, my dad stepped on my train and the bussel broke and Carly fixed it! Carly had everything running so smoothly. I sang a song at the reception and Frank was able to find the music. Everything was perfect. And the price was right too :) I highly recommend them!

I have to tell you, they were worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Sue was amazing! She is so high energy, professional, and organized. She thought of everything, and helped with everything the day of. She even helped be bustle my dress (which kept coming undone).
Don kept the music going all night, and played most of the crazy, off-the-wall songs I requested. My father and mother-in-law even got up in the middle of dinner because Don played one of their favorite songs.

My husband Reagan and I used Dance Masters for our wedding on September 18 and can't say enough positive things about this company. Don and Sue weren't able to be with us but checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were good to go. As a military Bride, in a new area I was very apprehensive in pickingn a DJ service. From the very begining Sue and Don Welcomed my family and I with open arms. I was unsure of a few songs and between the both of them those helped us choose a bunch of perfect songs. Before the wedding I spoke and emailed Both Sue and Don with any questions, comments and all of my crazy concerns they both promplty responded back. Sue and Don from Dance Masters Entertainment were our DJ for our July 28th wedding at Gramercy Mansion. Sue and Don exceeded our expectations on our wedding day in every way possible. Don is all music. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, Don provides flawless music based on both the couples interests as well as his professional expertise. Sue is the master of ceremonies for the day and can be trusted to take care of any and every detail. Her knowledge of the flow of a wedding is amazing and she works incredibly hard to make sure the event is the perfect day. Toward the beginning of the reception when the dancing began, a strap on my dress broke. I was panicked but before I could begin to really get upset, Sue was at my side with a safety pin. We had Don and Sue as our DJ's and although we weren't sure why we would need 2 DJ's, we were so happy that we did at our reception. Don did a great job with the music. Our guests were very happy with the music selection and spent most of the reception on the dance floor. Sue was the MC and she did what we asked for and beyond. To our surprise, she gave the kids at our wedding neon straws for their drinks which made the day all the more special for them. Another surprise was that she put flashing sunglasses on my new husband and I while we were on the dance floor which helped keep the tempo up on the dance floor mid way through the reception. Sue also took our drink orders and assisted us with anything that we needed. We also had a couple of requests that were out of the ordinary that they were very flexible with and enjoyed assisting us with. Our guests had such a great time at our reception and didn't seem to want to leave. Don and Sue made our morning/afternoon wedding feel like a late night party.

Don and Sue with Dance Masters were the absolute best!! Our wedding was perfect because of them. Don played all of our request and kept the crowd involved and Sue kept the entire wedding, from start to finished, right on track. These two are great!! We could not have asked for a better DJ.

Sue and Don were amazing! My son and daughter-in-law have Down's syndrome and my son was in a wheelchair from a knee injury and Sue choreographed a waltz for them that was beautiful! What can we say about Don and Sue from DJ Dancemasters (owners)? They worked together as a team and really added a lot of energy and fun to our wedding day. They were so easy to work with, had such energy that they used to get the crowd going. Couldn't be happier with our choice!

Now let's take a step back and describe them a bit. They are married to each other and are owners of DJ Dancemasters. We saw them at a bridal show at the Sheraton in Towson and could instantly see their energy. They worked as a team where Don would focus on the music and Sue would basically host the party and do all of the talking. Don was great with the music... He was reading the crowd and getting good songs in there to get everyone out on the dance floor, while Sue was making all of our announcements, leading dances on the dance floor, and just overall out there encouraging a party atmosphere for our guests. She even came over and discretely fanned under my wife’s dress when it was getting a bit hot(this may sound weird but anyone who has worn a wedding dress or is about to would greatly appreciate this level of service – without even having to ask!), and asked the hotel to turn up the air some. Everyone was dancing up a storm! They did a great job of getting everyone of all ages having a ball! We had them include a lighting package that really brought out nice colors in the room and helped set the atmosphere. Everything went perfect having them there and they are truly a great duo. They are great people in general and we highly recommend them as a DJ for any and all functions!! Another thing that needs to be noted is that we got TWO high quality professional entertainers for the price of one. Although we were well prepared for the day, I don’t think it would have gone nearly as smoothly without both of them there.

A side note for Sue specifically, she is also a dance teacher. So naturally, we gave her our first dance song and she choreographed us our first dance! We had 3 practice sessions and Sue also provided a cd with our song and a typed up version of our dance. She puts in the lyrics or identifying parts of the song and then the dance steps so you know where you should be at any given point in time. We are not much of dancers but she had us doing a great job and feeling good about it too. It was a great experience and it wowed every person at our wedding.

We were so pleased with Dance Masters. They helped throw a great party. My dad and I also took dance lessons with Sue for the father/daughter dance and we had a BLAST! ( and neither one of us are dancers!)

Don and Sue are a great team to work with! I highly recommend them for any type of function. I especially like the fact that they are so well versed in a broad range of musical styles, from the big band era to the pop music popular with my teenage daughter.

It was great fun hearing a wide variety of music and seeing so many people dancing, from our parents in their 60's and 70's to the teenagers. Everyone had something to listen to that they enjoyed, and Don and Sue were very flexible and willing to play whatever we wanted. Their inventory is amazing!

You can tell they work well as a team, and Sue was great as a wedding coordinator as well, helping out even where it was not her "official" duty. I'm sure she took care of many details that relieved my stress, down to pinning boutonnieres on the men to make sure they looked good. The timing of the wedding music was beautifully and seamlessly done, and Patrick and I could not have been happier with their services. I hope we will have an occasion to hire them again in the future; in the meantime, we will be recommending them to our friends!

Don and Sue were my and my husbands first and only choice. I was going off a recommendation from our Venue. I was blown away with the level of professionalism and service we had received on our wedding day. As a bride you always run around and worry about everything. I had no idea who to have to DJ our ceremony and reception. Derek from Dance Masters was awesome. He was attentive and very professional. He got the party started and kept it going without being pushy to our guests. We just used Don and Sue for our wedding this past weekend and do not regret a thing! They were extrememly fun and kept the day flowing very smoothly. Where do I begin? Don and Sue are absolutely amazing. Not only did they provide great music for my wedding reception, they went above and beyond their DJ responsibilities. I had several guests tell me what a great wedding coordinator I had at my wedding... they were shocked when I told them that she wasn't a wedding coordinator, she was my DJ (or the MC half of my DJ team!). Dance Masters did a really, really (really) great job at our wedding. We had Derek as our DJ and he was amazing. He really kept an eye on the crowd to keep them dancing all night. He was also really great at organizing things and working closely with our caterer/coordinator to ensure that everything went smoothly. He also made sure that guests knew to visit the photobooth and sign the little "guestbooks" we had at each table. Derek did such a great job!!!

DJ Derek was wonderful! My family has used Dance Masters Entertainment for all of our large family functions and Derek did not dissapoint. Derek spoke to us on the phone prior to the event as well as met with us in person. He showed up early and assisted with getting everyone in the room for the ceremony. He provided microphones for our Officiator and our guest speakers. Derek checked on us during the reception to see if there was anything he could do and played requests from our guests. Sue's dance expertise made our first dance one that we and all guests will remember! Don and Sue provided DJ Services as well as some additional lighting for our daughter's wedding. They were super!! Music was just what we had asked for and they are experts at keeping the party going and making sure that everything that was planned for the evening took place on time. (Bridal party introductions, great music during dinner, cake cutting, Father's dance with bride, etc.) They went above and beyond our expectations and were so accomodating and professional. DON AND SUE ARE JUST THE MOST AMAZING ENTERTAINERS AND THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE FOR MY WEDDING. ALL MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES ARE STILL RAVING ABOUT HOW MUCH FUN THEY HAD THAT NIGHT!!! THEY KEPT THE FLOOR PACKED AND THEY WERE SO ENERGETIC!!! DON WAS OUR DJ AND HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED TO HEAR AND WHEN WE WANTED TO HEAR IT. SUE IS JUST AWESOME!!! SHE MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS RUNNING SMOOTHLY SO THAT I COULD ENJOY MYSELF!!! SHE ALSO CHOREOGRAPHED OUR FIRST DANCE, AND I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD DANCE THE WAY MY HUSBAND AND I DANCED THAT NIGHT. WE DANCED TO JOSH GROBAN'S "WHEN YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME" AND SHE CHOREOGRAPHED THE DANCE BASED ON THE LYRICS. IT WAS SO ROMANTIC AND SO BEAUTIFUL!! OUR GUEST WERE JUST AMAZED WITH THE TURNS, THE DIPS AND THE WALTZ. I COULD WRITE A 10 PAGE ESSAY ABOUT HOW HIRING THEM REALLY MADE MY WEDDING INCREDIBLE.. STARTING FROM THEIR PERSONALITIES TO THEIR PROFESSIONALISM.. I COULD GO ON AND ON... SO.. BRIDES OUT THERE, LET ME JUST TELL YOU THAT IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR MAGIC,. LOOK NO FURTHER. DANCE MASTERS ARE IT!!!DON AND SUE: YOU ARE THE BEST THING THAT'S HAPPENED TO MY WEDDING, AND THANKS TO YOU, IT WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DREAM COME TRUE. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST!!!!

Don and Sue truly left us speechless. They were beyond amazing and we thank them dearly for what they brought to our wedding. Sue performed above and beyond our expectations as she not only assisted me, my mom, and my bridemaids with our behind-the-scenes issues, but she also ran the show like a champ! Our guests are STILL talking about that "Sue lady" that made the wedding! Don was the most amazing DJ; he played exactly what we wanted to hear and made sure all those requests from the do-not-play list were never heard! We also requested a special entrance to the reception, which Don and Sue nailed perfectly! We truly thank them for the job they did and recommend them to anyone and everyone needing a DJ!

Don and Sue had been recommended to us by a friend and now we are the ones recommending them to anyone we know who's getting married. They provided the music for the ceremony, during dinner and then for the dancing. Sue will take care of all the details for you- she is better than any "day of" wedding planner you could hire. She started by lining up everyone for the ceremony and then made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the entire nite- she even bustled my dress! We were very thankful they were there- another guest had already hired them for her upcoming wedding and she was so glad she did! Don and Sue are both professional, enthusiastic, and most important- FUN!

I will recommend Sue and Don for any event. They were my DJ and MC for my wedding and we had a wonderful time. Although our crowd was different from the normal crowd they were used too, they were able to adjust to the music accordingly. Not only were they open to our ideas, but they showed professionalism from the beginning to the end. They are our DJs for life!

What can I NOT say about Dance Masters Entertainment. They provided us full customer service and the best attention on our wedding day. We got married on July 2, 2010 and the reception was a blast. Although, the crowd was not up for dancing, the music that was provided was the best. The MC - Sue was great. After the wedding day many came up to me asking me who was my MC and wanted her to be their MC for their event.
Don (DJ) & Sue (MC) are one of a kind. They are our entertainers for life! I truly love them both! They are the best and recommended for ANY event!

Don and Sue were very helpful and accomodating from the very beginning. They made our wedding extra special and their flexibility was great. We even changed their hours the day before our wedding. They are a great pair and they were a great addition to our wedding!

Derrek Heckler was amazing! We met with him prior to the event to discuss music and make sure he had all the songs we wanted. On the day of the wedding, he made sure everything ran on time and that my husband and I always had whatever we needed, even if it was just a drink from the bar. He played requests from the guests and songs I’d requested. He also adhered to our “do not play” list.
