Janet Snyder was an amazing dance teacher to work with. She is patient with her students and really understands how to make sure you are ready for your big day. I would highly recommend Dance Ten!
A Sweet Design
Janet at Dance Ten Studios is a blast. If you don't have an absolute great time taking her class....you must be sleeping through it. My advise to you is to take dance lessons before your wedding...You don't want to be stepping on each others toes in front of all your guests. So Dance Away with Dance Ten!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dancing lesson's best ever

Janet of Dance Ten is truly the best. If you want personal attention and patience in learning your first dance, she is your gal. She offers home instruction, as well. Janet once told me she can teach anyone to dance. I didn't believe her so I put her to the test. I was amazed that not only can she teach the dance-less how to dance, she can do so within minutes and make it fun at the same time. Check out this video of me putting Janet to the test. http://charleslauren.com/theblog/?p=1576
Janet is a divine addition to your wedding planning needs. TRUST ME...when you are the center of attention, dancing is not going to come easy. EVERYONE could use dance lessons prior to their wedding. I wish that I had known Janet before my wedding...my husband has two left feet. We did the high school prom dance!!!
Janet is awesome dance instructor. I know everyone raves of how comfortable they feel in learning from Janet and Dance Ten studios. Every couple that comes to see our video demos wants to dance just like the demo and I always send them to Dance 10 because I know they will thank me for it.
Most couples take between 4-6 lessons. If you want a choreographed routine, then we recommend at least 10 lessons.
How far in advance should we start dance lessons?
At least 6-8 weeks in advance. We do, however, also get a lot of calls for last minute lessons, so if you have to have lessons the week of the wedding, we can accommodate you.
We have gone overbudget already. How can we learn a dance on an already overextended budget?
The best thing to do is to purchase one of our instructional DVDs online and then take a private lesson to clean things up and talk about how to get on and off the dance floor. Or you can drop-in to a group class.
Do we need to pick a certain song or type of song or can we use any song we want?
You can use any song you want. You can normally dance 2-3 different dances to any given song so on your first lesson, you will get to sample the different dances that go with your song, and you can pick your favorite. And that will be the one we use. Everything is extremely customized just for you.
My fiance is not a dancer and has 2 left feet. What do you suggest in order to learn our First Dance?
We recommend in-home lessons. That way, you can learn in the comfort and privacy of your own home without anyone else watching you. After the first lesson, you will both see how easy and fun dancing can be and you will be at ease about dancing your First Dance in front of your guests.
