Simon Roberts is a wonderfully, hardworking, dedicated individual who anyone would be lucky to have on their big day! We found him very friendly, easy to work with and, despite having a very busy schedule, he made time for any questions or input we had. He even stayed after his allotted time to get our last shots when things were delayed for no charge! We just can't say enough about our experience with Dancing Cloud Photography, a must for any wedding, or special event!

I heartily recommend Simon Roberts for professional and website portraits! I contacted Simon with a tight deadline, needing photos asap that were natural and relaxed, yet business-like. In the past I've usually been unhappy with portrait results ... but Simon made it so easy! From the scheduling to the shoot set-up (outdoors with just the right coloration in the background), Simon helped me relax in front of the camera for just the results I'd hoped to get. My final portraits are beautiful and natural. Everyone loves them -- most importantly, me!

Simon was Fabulous, Great, Wonderful!! Of all the people we hired for the wedding he was definitely the most bang we got for our buck. He scouted out the photo locations in advance at different times of the day to find the best time to shoot and had back up locations on call in case of inclement weather. He was prepared for everything and brought help the day of to expedite the process... which with the size of our families (and the constant rain), made all of the difference.
We received our photos before we expected to... had TONS of great photos to choose from and received a CD with all of the originals at the same time.
Honestly... we interviewed four or five photographers who were all more expensive and are so thankful we chose Simon!

Simon was great to work with. He was a hit at our reception with the guests and he got some really beautiful pictures. He was able to do group, portrait, still, and candid photos that we love. I especially liked that his style seems to not be the cookie cutter style you see in a lot of wedding photos. The man can do it all and for a good price.

Simon, at Dancing Cloud Photography, was extremely easy to work with, and he was able to provide us exactly what we wanted for a reasonable price. Working on a budget, we were not looking for an "investment" package like so many other photographers advertised, but rather wanted the photos delivered on disc so that we could distribute and print as we saw fit. We reserved time with Simon to retouch and enlarge the few photos we wanted while accomplishing our other photo projects on our own. However, Simon would have been available to help us with these projects had we required it. Simon and his assistant were able to capture the moment of that day, and we will always treasure the photos we have to remember it by!

We loved Simon, he was everywhere all at once and captured moments without us even notice him snapping pictures. He was WONDERFUL!!!

Simon was the best. He worked with our schedule during a very busy wedding season, he made the best of the so-so weather during our engagement shoot (shots were great, almost better than from the sunny wedding day), and he even managed to find a second person to work with him on the wedding day last-minute, even though we weren't expecting it. The photos have been sent to all the family and friends, and they loved them all. He also did some great retouching to just a few details that weren't perfect - ready for Vogue now! Didn't take him up on any post-event services since I am a graphic designer and am fluent with desktop publishing, but imagine he is top notch there too. Best of all, he was very reasonably priced - other folks wanted $2000+, he was able to do it for much less. And those over-priced folks sure had a chip on their shoulder, thought they were more important than us, where Simon was very down-to-earth and approachable. I have nothing bad to say, and am looking forward to hiring him again for my work as soon as I have a project that needs original photography.

First and most importantly, we LOVE our wedding pictures. Second, Simon was great to work with. Many people at the wedding told us they really appreciated his politeness and that they could clearly see that he was working hard to get great shots. I'd definitely recommend him.

My wife and I loved to have Simon as our wedding photographer. Simon was as genuinely committed as we were to want to have the best pictures of our special event. I have seen him like that at other weddings too, and it is really what prompts me to rate him with five stars in all categories here. Simon is a true professional, who actually shows up on time, with the right equipment and who will shoot the pictures you would like him to shoot, both classical ones where the family members pose (with many helpful directions from Simon that made for nice compositions in the end), as well as the more 'photo-journalistic' types that capture particular moments. Along that line, Simon is very knowledgeable in making use of the particular environment of the wedding event, a quality that is especially useful when the wedding is entirely outdoors, like ours was. Finally, Simon kept it fun and relaxed, which is very pleasant on a day when so many things have to happen in a certain manner. In short, Simon is a top photographer for a very reasonable cost.
