Daniel was our photographer at our daughter’s wedding this June. We highly recommend him! We especially appreciated his sincere effort to catch every moment of the day from start to finish. His attention to detail is very evident. Also, his personal interest in getting to know the people involved in the ceremony and reception were tremendous. We highly recommend him for any and all photographic needs.

Daniel Dale is a great photographer. Very professional and sincere. I have so much fun looking back at the pictures from my wedding. Everyone looks so nice. Daniel is a good family man, and a great photographer. I highly recommend him.

Daniel is a amazing at what he does..It would be worth your money to have him at your wedding or anywhere.. He made the most wonderful day complete..I would go back to him again and again..Very very very friendly..Fits in well with everyone..

Daniel was so great to work with! My children were a little difficult and he was very patient with them and still managed to capture beautiful shots. We were married at a lake and he worked magic with the settings. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone!

About Daniel Dale Photography

I love photography, I love weddings, and I love making people happy, so it's fantastic that I get to combine all three in what I do. Most of the time, the saying holds true "you get what you pay for," but I offer an affordable alternative while maintaining excellent quality.

My style is photojournalistic, but I mix in some more traditional, posed style, depending on what you like. I am always available for some special requests when there's a free minute.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes, I have experience shooting situations from very dark indoor settings to outdoor weddings. I have professional flashes for special lighting needs.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes, I will photograph your wedding.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I never book more than one event in a day and I try not to book more than one event in a weekend.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I bring professional Nikon Digital SLRs with multiple flash units and lenses.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Every item I use has a backup. I have backup for my camera body, lenses, flashes, batteries, and memory.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

My price includes 8 hours of coverage. This is typically more time than you will need. (8 hrs is special for WW customers)

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

If necessary, I can shoot up to 2 additional hours for $100 per hour.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I usually find a few minutes here and there to take breaks, but I am always ready to go when I see the right moment.

Do you charge for travel?

There is no charge for travel within 75 miles of Lakewood. Extra travel within Colorado is negotiable.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Images will be ready within two weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

CD/DVD of full resolution JPG images. NEF (Nikon Raw) images can be provided at request.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

I do retain the copyright, but the client is granted full rights to reprint any image.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

I retain the right to use images for advertising or promoting my services. I will not sell or transfer rights to anyone else.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes. The client keeps all digital images.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes. Within two weeks, I will post images online which will permit guests to download full resolution images. This makes life easier on the client.
