used this company for a photobooth. photobooth itself was okay - service was poor. more or less, the photobooth worked took one of guests seats during the reception and proceeded to eat. none of this was written in our contract and it led to an embarrassing moment. when we tried to relay the information to Dan following the reception so he was aware of the situation he was rude and unprofessiona. We rented a photobooth from Dan for our wedding in June. We met him at a Bridal Expo in Indiana. He responded right away to all of my emails and the prices were VERY reasonable! We received nothing but compliments on the photobooth and fun was had by all our guests with all the props that were provided! I would HIGHLY recommend Daniel Gin! My only regret is that I didn't get in the booth enough!

Dan Gin has gone above and beyond our highest expectations for our wedding photos! He is worth every penny and we cannot say enough great things about him. He put both of us at ease the entire day. Our photos turned out phenomenal! Even when we were running late during the 2 ceremonies, Dan still managed to get every picture we had requested in addition to many other beautiful shots. We got married in May at The Adler Planetarium in downtown Chicago, and we were very pleased with our choice of wedding photographer. Daniel Gin and his assistant, Jenny, did a fabulous job. Dan was very reliable and contacted us numerous times before the wedding to make sure he had everything covered. I felt he was very prepared which made it easy for us to relax and let him take care of everything. I also loved how he put together a slideshow of photos throughout the night for people to watch on his computer during the evening. Even those photos, unedited, were incredible. We are looking forward to seeing our album! Anyone looking for a wedding photographer, we would definitely recommend Daniel Gin.

Dan was our favorite vendor. He is a genuinely nice guy and I instantly felt comfortable around him, something that was very important to me considering he would be taking pictures of me and the bridesmaids getting ready before the ceremony. He was flexible and easily accommodated our wishes not to see each other before the ceremony or break for a long photo shoot between the ceremony and reception. His style of photography makes for some unique photos and he managed to beautifully capture several candid moments, making our wedding photos feel lively and fresh rather than rigidly posed and staged.

I do even know where to begin in my praise and I fear that I will not be able to say enough about how amazing Dan and Jen were to work with!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a photographer (hobby, not professional) so this was the one thing about my wedding I was going to be SUPER picky about. We met with maybe 7 or 8 photographers. And non of them felt right. As soon as we walked into Dan's studio and started talking I knew this was it!!!!!! Then we looked through his work!!!!! Breathless!!!!!!!!!! He has talent for catching such beautiful and intimate moments that normally would not get caught. I hate being in front of a camera! I get so nervous and uncomfortable, but Dan and Jen made me feel so comfortable, I forgot they were taking photos of us. And the photos I have seen so far prove it. Dan and Jen are so fun and sweet!!!! Check out their websites; the photos sing praise better than I do!!!!! And the photobooth was one of the best parts of the wedding!!!!!!!!!!! I look through it everyday!!!!!!

We met with many photographers in our search and knew Dan was our guy right after we met him. He was very friendly, informative, and the prices were awesome. It was apparent that he really enjoyed and took pride in his work. The pictures were great and he was one of the few that we met that let you have the rights to them to print copies as desired. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We used Dan Gin as our wedding photographer. After considering numerous Chicago-area photographers, it was clear that Dan was the best choice. The best thing about him is the value - his rates are lower than the average city photog, but he gives us all the digital negatives. He is incredibly professional and our guests at the wedding and reception really liked him. Dan was personable and competent, and he really responds to our requests for certain styles of photography. For example, we explained that we were looking for the photojournalist style and he was happy to deliver, since he is capable of different styles. We're really pleased and have no reservations about recommending Dan to anyone.

Dan and his team helped to make our wedding turn out exactly as we wanted it to. Dan has a very professional yet friendly and accomodating attitude. Our pictures came out great (leagues better than many other "wedding pictures" we have seen) and we received our digital media (dvd's) very promptly after the wedding.

We were also very glad to have opted for his photobooth option. His booth attendant was very cheerful and helpful to our guests and the guests had a total blast with the photobooth. We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend getting this for your reception. Many of our guests who have their own upcoming weddings demanded Dans information because they saw how well our reception turned out. Yes, he's THAT GOOD.

Dan did my wedding on May 24. Everything was great!!! No complaints at all. The whole photographer search was pretty intimidating for us...until I met Dan. He's really easy to talk to and very cheerful. He explained to me a lot about photography, what he's going to do before, during, and after the event--which made us feel very comfortable. He also is very willing to tailor to our needs...not pushy at all like some other photographers. His price is the cheapest we've found...well you know they are all expensive anyway, but I got a lot for his price. We asked him to do an engagement shot for us. He even came out to take shots on my rehearsal night at the church!! Our wedding event last for 14 hours and he's there on the scene since 8am. He also got me a photo assistant, which increase coverage of the event. He's very friendly, even my guests love him. I get all kinds of compliments about Dan from my guests--from being friendly to professional..patience and fun. The whole process was very smooth, he reply to emails and phone calls promptly to answer any of my questions and concerns. Great photos. Thanks Dan!
