Dan Griffiths Justice of the Peace

We had Dan officiate our wedding in November 2012 and we couldn't be happier with his work. He provides a detailed packet when you first meet him of all the different pieces you can include in your ceremony (but you can also use anything that you want), and it made it SO easy to plan a beautiful ceremony. We didn't do this, but you also have the flexibility to change any words or phrases in what he provides. He wasn't able to attend our rehearsal because it was in the middle of the day but he came early to the ceremony to make sure everyone knew what to do. We both felt so comfortable standing up there with him and heard from so many people that it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever seen. We didn't really know where to begin in our search for a justice of the peace and we felt SO lucky when we found Dan! People were laughing and crying, which was exactly what we wanted. You can't do any better.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dan! He was our JP for our wedding on 10/27/12 and not only was he punctual, professional, organized, well-prepared and knowledgeable in his field he also had a heart of gold and made our wedding ceremony one we will never forget! He kept us relaxed and calm throughout the ceremony and just listening to him speak it was truly evident to me he truly is passionate about what he does and cares about the couples he marries! I would recommend him to anyone getting married without hesitation! He made our special day beautiful and his compassion and dedication were much appreciated. From our first meeting with Dan, I knew that I wanted him to be the officiant at our wedding. He has a way of making you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. From the first time we met Dan, we both felt very comfortable with him. He was easy to talk to and very efficient with the information he had to share. Dan was fantastic. He met with us first to discuss exactly what we did and did not want out of our ceremony. He took the time to really understand our full vision and provided us with a bunch of ideas and written pieces to pick & choose from so the ceremony was completely customized for us. During the wedding, Dan was very adaptable when it started to rain during our outdoor ceremony. Because we had to speed things up to get under the tent, he made smart changes on the spot, never got flustered, and still delivered a beautiful ceremony. Dan is very professional but is not stuffy (has a sense of humor!) and truly loves what he does and wants you to be 100% satisfied. Also, he projects his voice well which is very important at an outdoor wedding! My husband and I highly recommend Dan.

Daniel was a great JP. He was a great speaker & very accommodating to my needs as far as my ceremony went. I wanted a very short & sweet ceremony & he gave me just that :) Daniel made me feel very comfortable when I was nervous & was very trusting & just a sweet sincere guy :) I highly reccomend him!

We got to see him first hand at our friends wedding. So we decided why not have a meeting with him to see if he would be a great fit for us. So glad we did. From our non traditional ceremony to adding a bit of everything to make our ceremony just perfect. He also has great suggestions but also keeps everything completely up to you. Never makes you feel you have to do something. Perfect combination of serious and funny is what we asked for and is also what we received!

Dan was a great officiant for our wedding. We had several people comment to us throughout the evening how warm Dan made our ceremony, as if we had known him for years.

I continue to receive compliments about our ceremony and Dan! When we first met with Dan we went over some of the readings and he introduced us to a wine box ceremony versus doing the sand or candle. Dan was the perfect JP for our wedding. We we're so glad when we met Dan because we didn't get a great vibe from other JP's we had talk to at that point. Dan helped us design our own ceremony and executed it perfectly.

What makes Dan so good is that he took all of the pressure off of us. He even told us, multiple times, that there's no pressure.

Dan had been the officiant at my sister's wedding a few years ago and did a wonderful job so I was very happy that he was available for my wedding. He was very pleasant, answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of information. He made the whole ceremony process very easy for us and eased my wedding-crazed brain a lot! Our wedding was on Memorial Day and my husband and his groomsmen were in military uniforms and Dan was kind enough to honor them during the ceremony. I first heard of Dan Griffiths by researching and reading his wonderful reviews online. I set up a meeting and within minutes of that first meeting, my now husband and I knew we would not find a better person to marry us. Dan instantly made us both feel at ease and excited to marry. Finding a Justice of the Peace for our wedding was very important to us as they would set the tone for our whole ceremony. We knew Dan would be the best for us during our first meeting with him. We had not an idea on how to do our ceremony and he directed us and gave us options we loved. He was very organized, professional and enjoyable to plan with. Dan is one of the most luminous people I've ever met. He is always smiling, his eyes are typically filled with light and joy. He is the kind of person that you'd want as a friend, a family member, a partner.

My husband and I had the most spectacular time at our wedding because Dan was so relaxed. Dan Griffiths was the justice of the peace for our wedding. He was wonderful. The ceremony was perfect and beautiful. Dan suggested me doing vows to my husband's children and at first I didnt know whether to do it or not because my husband's kids are teenagers and I didnt know how they would feel. Dan was so helpfull to us when we decided to get married..he came and spent time at my house and went over everything with us..he was available by phone and e-mail for questions that I had..we were so comfortable with him..the night of the wedding he met me at the door and assured me everything would be fine..we also had a change of venue which meant he would he would have to travel further and that was not a problem at all.after the wedding so many people told me how much they enjoyed our service and that Dan made it so special..he took everything into consideration even to the fact that my husband had a hearing problem and made sure he heard him..he made our wedding night a night to remember..I would recommend Dan to anyone that is getting married..

We had originally interviewed a different Justice of the Peace, whom had to cancel on us due to a conflict that he had mismarked on his calender. The original J.P. felt awful, as we were very close to our wedding date, and he called Dan to ask if he was available. Though Dan had another wedding on the day of ours, he graciously made everything work out. In the end, we feel that everything happens for a reason and we could not have had a better J.P. than Dan. He was phenomenal! We loved him, our guests loved him, and he just made our ceremony the best it could be. We highly recommend him!

Dan was wonderful on our big day! Peter and I were so nervous...Dan showed up early and really made both of us feel better. We do not have one picture of the ceremony without huge smiles on our face:) All of our guests were having a good time too! I really need to post a picture so you can see what a great job he did!!!

Dan was wonderful! The officiant we had originally planned on going with had cancelled on us last minute. We were in a panic and finally were referred to Dan and he worked it so that he was available for us. He was very sweet and personable and was happy to help us last minute! We met with him and were very pleased with him. Such a nice man and after a half hour we felt like we had known him much longer. He did a beautiful job as a our officiant and was so very professional. We had so many compliments from guests, and even had people asking us if we were friends with him because of how intimate he made the ceremony. I realize that rating Dan with all 5's may seem over-exuberant. However, Dan was indeed, the best we could have hoped for. We found Dan online and decided to meet with him and from the moment we did we knew he was the one for our wedding! Dan is a very kind and caring guy who REALLY listens to what you want and makes it as stress-free as possible. We had plenty of time to work on what we wanted and working with him to ensure everything we wanted said was said. He was nice and loud so everyone could here him without any speaker systems, outside. He instructed all the men (my husband and father esp.) on what needed to go on and made them comfortable which was a heard feat for anyone! He was always on time for rehearsal and the day of and was professional yet very fun as well. He really knew how to make everyone relax (esp. the bride and groom who were a bag of nerves). I would HIGHLY recommend Dan for any couple getting married, at least meet with him you WONT regret it! His price is very fair as well!

Dan designed a phenomenal ceremony for our New Years Eve wedding 2011. It was individualized to our specific wants and needs. We had an outdoor non-denominational ceremony, and Dan (a JP) was the perfect officiant. He met with me and my fiancee a few weeks before the wedding to script the ceremony - and had great suggestions, while also letting us make all of the decisions that fit what we wanted best. He was on time, completely professional, went out of his way to get to our location - all for a very reasonable fee. He's great.
