I did a Trash the Dress session with Danny and it was awesome!!! I got so many cool pictures. Danny has a great eye and lots of talent. He had so many creative and fun ideas on where to take the pictures, how to pose etc. The pictures turned out better than I could have ever dreamed. I am having a hard time deciding which ones are the best....highly recommended!

Danny was the best choice we made!!! We had two photographers (Danny and his second shooter Julia)that took breath taking shots. They did an amazing job and did exactly what we wanted. We have all the pictures of family and friends that we wanted and more. We got a total of 1800 pictures taken....more than we could have ever expected!!!! We are so pleased with Danny and would definitely recommend them to any couple that wants to have quality pictures taken by the best professionals!!!!

Even before I was engaged I knew that when the time came to be married I wanted to make sure that I had an amazing photographer to capture this very special day. I was even willing to cut back on the cost of my cake, DJ, etc. Before we met Danny, we had already looked over his site and knew we liked his style of photography and his use of color and light is exactly what we want.

The day of the wedding he and his assistant were great. They also offered some sanity and humor to the day as well! Danny did a great job at the wedding ceremony, managing to take all the pictures we wanted. We are still overwhelmed at all the hundreds of photos they shot!! They turned out so well and we are having trouble narrowing them down!!! Danny had our photos up on the site within ten or eleven days and our family and friends have given us tons of compliments. Danny did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We highly recommend photographer Danny and video-man Leo. They worked as a team to capture all the wonderful moments of our wedding day and worked with us to find the right balance between the photojournalistic style and traditional style of pictures we desired. Since both my family and My husb’s family are not in U.S, our wedding was relatively simple. But we did spend a lot of time on planning and we want some amazing photos and album to give to our parents. Danny did an amazing work and all my friends were excited to see Danny’s photo for us. My parents just love his photos.

We interviewed many photographers before we selected Danny. We found him to be easy going and interesting to work with, professional, hard-working, dedicated, and passionate photographers. He love what he do! We first met him at Borders in Santana row when he showed us samples of their portfolio. We found him to be very personable, friendly and welcoming. He recognized the wedding was our big day and made us feel special at our very first meeting. Just as important, we found him to be fun to work with throughout the entire process. He helped make us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

After the engagement photo session, we absolutely had 100% trust and comfort on him. We all believe he is the person who is countable and can do a great job. When he shot our wedding day, we were so relaxed in front of him. After the engagement, we already became good friends and he is the person who gave us lots of creative ideas to planning the wedding day. He is full of creatively and passion. I can't speak highly enough of Danny and Julia. We were impressed with them since our very first contact; they were prompt, professional, and friendly. They really seemed to care about us and our wedding a lot even before they were officially hired. We felt really comfortable giving them the job of our wedding and engagement photography, based on both their character (and work ethic) as well as their skills. And my gosh are their skills good. Danny will no doubt make it big in the industry. He's already pretty much there! His pictures are the best I've seen, even compared to more expensive photographers. We talked to Danny about our desire to work with him but that his prices were just a tad beyond what we had budgeted, and he basically gave us a price we could do. We just had our engagement pictures done last weekend in San Francisco, and despite Danny's first-ever engagement shoot in the rain, he did a great job. We came away with awesome photos, and we just can't wait to see what he'll capture on our wedding day in January.

We had a small San Francisco City wedding at City Hall in advance of our larger wedding in China. We hired Danny Dong to photograph the City Hall ceremony as well as the luncheon at R&G Lounge afterward. We could not have been more thrilled with our experience working with Danny. It’s important to mention that we planned this event in a very short time-frame and Danny was very accommodating. Also, the day of our wedding was a huge blizzard in SF. This didn’t phase Danny at all - in fact he created some fabulous, fun and very unique wedding pictures. This was real proof of Danny’s creativity, as well as his ability to work artistically with whatever circumstances may arise. He also surprised us by taking a lot of photographs during our trip uptown on the way after our wedding ceremony - this too was unplanned - and these are some of our favorite pictures. Any bride will tell you that things come up the day of your wedding that you never imagined, so it’s important to have a photographer who is flexible, resourceful, easy-going and who has a good sense of humor! Danny has all of these qualities, making his a great choice as a wedding photographer. Danny’s photography certainly brightened my engagement reception. My fiancé and I planned our engagement reception at Rocky Point, Monterey, in two weeks and everything on that day started out wrong. My make up-artist was 1.5 hours late so I ended up doing my own make up, one side of my cake was smashed due to poor handling, and the day was so cloudy that it almost the rained. However, as we arrived about 1.5 hours late, we found Danny patiently waiting with his assistant and fully prepared for the photo session. Danny certainly didn’t waste anytime and already found the great photo spots to get us started immediately. Danny is an absolutely amazing photographer as he creatively and painlessly shot over 300 photos in a short two hours for my fiancé and I and with our family and friends. The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous, capturing all the best in the surrounding scenery and us. Given the cloudy day, the photos were bright and certainly turned a gray day into an amazingly beautiful and romantic one. I can’t be more satisfied with his photography and this wonderful experience.

Danny is a very professional and truly amazing photographer. Because of his young age, he is more capable of capturing the energy and liveliness in all his photos, which he does remarkably. I personally did an urban fashion photoshoot with him, and it was a very fun experience. Danny is very nice and easy to get along with, and is able to communicate with you very easily in what he and you want in the photos. I just had a day-long photoshoot session with Danny Studio last week.
Where should I begin? Well, Danny was one of the best photographers I've worked with. I love how the pictures turned out. The locations he picked out were perfect. Danny was also helpful in giving me both positive and constructive feedback from behind the camera. From his pointers, I figured out what looked better. After the shoot, I felt I have learned so much and that I have become a better model. I felt very comfortable with Danny as he acted in a professional manner. I cannot wait to work with him again since I know he can capture beautiful images at just the right angles.

Danny was highly recommended by a friend of mine who has done modeling work with him. We had a fairly tight schedule, 3 weeks to our wedding. Danny promptly met us to go over some of photo shooting details. He made some great recommendation to us on the clothes selection. We found his guidance very useful. We met again one more time before the wedding to go over our clothes. The pre-wedding efforts Danny put in paid off.



Even though we scheduled for a 10:30 AM photo session, Danny and his assistant arrived early to scout the area and set equipments up. I felt my wife and I have established a very comfortable working relationship with Danny pre-wedding, which allowed us to feel less awkward in front of the cameras. After all, we are not professional models. Neither my wife nor I had any previous experience with professional photo shooting. Danny had some creative ideas during shooting, some of which are pretty impromptu. Not only the photos are artistic, but also the spirit of the happy marriage was captured by Danny as well. Danny did not stop at the standard wedding locations. He recommended a few places, which turn out to be breathtaking.



We took a little break after the wedding and went to several locations in S.F for more photo shoots. Danny was very knowledgeable around the city. He recommended the place to meet, change clothes and even park cars. As you know city driving can be hectic especially during a workday rush hour, I feel Danny was able to make my life easy and allow me to concentrate on the photography. From indoor to outdoor, from beach to city, Danny worked his magic.



At the end of day, I just want to say I feel very fortunate that Danny will be able to capture this special moment for me and my wife. The price is very fair, the professionalism is exceptional, and the result is something you will fall in love with everyday for the rest of your life. I would highly recommend Danny and his service. In fact, we are thinking to ask him to photograph our anniversary special event when the date comes. That is how much fun we had when working with Danny.

I am also using DannyStudio for my wedding. I agreed his prices are very reasonable and his photos are amazing, his albums and books are the best I have ever seen. He took my best friend's wedding photos and she highly recommended him. I was at her wedding and the guy was in the right place and moment for the entire wedding. Ran (my fiance) and I, met him last week and were totally impressed with his work and his creative ideas. He gave us many useful tips for planning our big day. Danny is more an artist than a photographer, his work is very unique and he has the ability to pick up the most beautiful essence of everything. Before I go into the reasons why I gave Danny and Julia 5 stars, let me go into some background:I found Danny through a wedding fair I went to. It was my first wedding fair and there were about 7-10 other photographer booths there. You could tell the quality of work from each photographer and Danny's was unmistakeably on another level.I took his card but was hesitant on the price. I interviewed about 5 other photographers (some cheaper, some around the same price, and some more expensive). In the end, it was obvious that he was the one and only choice.Danny and Julia receive 5 stars because of the following:1. Extremely talented photographersWe knew photography was going to be expensive, but we didn't want to pay and arm and a leg if the work didn't match the price. We met Danny and Julia before booking with them and again, looking through the portfolio, we knew that he would make our wedding photos memorable. Wedding photos are very important since they are something you will always be able to hold onto and show future generations.2. Professional and personableDanny and Julia are not only professional, talented photographers, but they are just simply nice people. It was always a pleasure meeting up with them and going through the pictures, prices, ideas, and so on. They genuinely wanted to do quality work for you and it came through when you talked with them.We had our engagement photos in Santa Barbara (about 4 hours from us) and Danny and Julia met us there. They did a great job capturing the beauty of the ocean, downtown, and the campus. It was the first time my husband and I took professional photos, but because Danny and Julia were so real and friendly, it felt less like photographers taking our pictures, and more like friends. Because of this, we were more relaxed during our session, and our photos came out more natural.3. Took part in the ideas processDanny and Julia had some great ideas for props we could use in our engagement and wedding photos. The idea of props had never occurred to me, so I was pleasantly surprised when they brought it up. It was definitely something they didn't have to do (since I would never have been the wiser), but they knew it would add to the photos and didn't mind take a couple of hours to go through some ideas with us and follow up with some useful links.4. 100% reliableReliability and ease of mind is something you will regard highly when you wedding starts coming down to the final weeks. There were a couple of vendors I hired that I was continuously worried about (up to and during the wedding if you could believe it). Danny and Julia were not one of them. Danny and Julia were among the top vendors that I hired. They met their dates with quality work. I was impressed and highly satisfied.NOTE: I guarantee you will hire vendors that will not get things right, will make mistakes with the contract, forget to send you something you asked them to send, and so on and so forth. When you find a vendor that is profession, responsive, detail oriented and talented (like Danny and Julia), hire them on the spot. They are hard to find!SUMMARY: Danny and Julia were a joy to work with. My engagement and wedding photos came out wonderfully and are still being raved about from our family and friends. They may be more expensive then you budgeted for but they are worth every penny. Photography is something you want to get right (there are no second chances). Hiring Danny and Julia was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

We loved our wedding pictures! Danny and Julia are amazing!I've been a big fan of their work for a long time. It was really a pleasure for us to have them travel all the way from San Jose to LA. They are super patient, professional and easy to work with. And the results came out very impressive. We are thrilled to have Danny and Julia as our engagement and wedding photographer! When we planned our wedding, we consulted a few local photographers. We made an appointment with Danny and went to see his work. As soon as we came out from his studio, we made up our mind on whom to choose. You can tell that the quality and the innovation of the shots are completely different and unique. My husband and I both are boring engineers. We are not good at designing pose and facing the camera. Danny and Julia helped us a lot. It was a whole new experience to us. Danny is very patient and nice. We were then becoming more relax. Because of our own faults, we were almost one hour late for the engagement photo session. We felt very bad about that but Danny didn't even show any negative attitude and in fact even help us to calm down. At the end of the engagement session, we lost our bag including our car keys. Again, it was our fault of leaving it beyond our view. We were freaking out because we can't even drive our car back. It was already close to 8pm in San Francisco. Danny and Julia had been working with us since noon. It was very exhaustive for all of us. But they didn't leave us alone but help us find solutions actively. They are really like friends to us. We both feel it's so great to know them. In our wedding event, Danny and Julia followed us the whole day. Danny was very helpful in designing poses for the entire wedding party. All our bridesmaids and groomsmen loved them. My parents showed the photos to their friends in China. They are all amazed by Danny's work. Especially in our case, most of our relatives are in China and cannot attend the wedding. Having a set of good pictures to show them is very important to us. We highly recommend Danny's studio. It is totally worthy!

What can I say about Danny & Julia's work, but ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My now husband and I have been together for over eleven years and are high school sweethearts, so for our wedding we wanted to find the perfect photographer to capture our special day. I chose Danny and Julia as my wedding photographers. I saw their work online and decided to contact them. During my first meeting with D & J, I like them a lot. They are easy-going people and they took their time to explain their work and the style they photograph. Even though they were over my budget, I decided to choose them anyway. Pictures last a life time, and it is worth it to spend a little more. On the day of the wedding, they were AWESOME. They were very patient and easy to work with. During the reception, I didn't even realize they were there. They were able to capture shots without getting in my way. Two weeks later, the pics arrived, and they looked BEAUTIFUL!!! It was exciting to see the pictures so soon. My coworker, who got married a week after me, booked another photographer and it took her 6 weeks to receive the pics. I would recommend Danny to anyone. we HEART Danny and Julia! They are just amazing and we think the world of them. When my (now) husband and I met with them, we were ready to book them that night...but to be fair we had to meet with other photographers since Danny was the first we saw. It was a waste of time meeting with the 5 other photographers because they did not compare even close to what Danny had. Danny and Julia are amazing in that they make you feel so comfortable with them and in front of the camera. Spending the time we did with them at our meetings, emails, engagement shoot and the wedding day made us feel like old friends. They are so easy and fun to get along with and they truly understand what you want out of your day. Pictures/photographers were most important to my husband and I during our wedding planning and Danny and Julia totally got that which I appreciated very much. Danny and Julia are fun to work with! They are full of creative ideas and are very professional. Because I got married at Stanford Church with lots of photography restrictions, I need to find experienced photographers to catch those important moments. As soon as I talked to Danny and Julia and saw their work at Stanford Church, I know I can count on them. And they did excellent jobs! It is also worth to mention that Danny works in light speed. Everytime I sent him email, he responds so quick as if we were talking on the phone. Less than one week after our wedding, we received 60+ absolutely beautiful retouched photos already. Using them as our photographers was the easiest decision we could make in the wedding process. After researching many companies and meeting them we new immediately that they were the "ones." Their portfolio was wonderful. As an architect, I am very picky regarding graphics and composition, so we choose them for their innate artistic sense and creativity when composing the pictures. They definitely did not disappoint us. They captured a range of moments from romantic, to heartwarming, to fun. We felt extremely comfortable and confident in their abilities and have been raving about their work. We were on a budget, and for their quality of work, they were very reasonable. The raw images that we received came out wonderfully- the quality of the pictures stood up on their own- they definitely do not need to rely on photoshop to make the image look amazing.

Danny and Julia are as good as they come. Case in point: when my photographer friend saw our wedding photos she said that when she gets married she is going to hire them!Not only are they incredibly talented, they are also unbelievably sweet and professional. When I was afraid to put on my dress at the hotel and then get it wrinkled during the drive to the venue in my tiny car, they offered to drive me in their SUV. Also, Danny came to the rehearsal just so that he could scout out the venue for potential shots and lighting. My husband and I picked a couple of our favorite places before he come to our wedding all the way from California. Because of the flight and time difference, it is a tiring trip. They even went to some places not on our list just trying to find the best spots for us. In short, Danny really gets everything in control before your big day. So once the film starts rolling, he won't let a single second be wasted.

Danny and Julia took our engagement and wedding photos and we could not have been happier with the service and outcome. They were super responsive via email and phone and really took the time to figure out the types of pictures we wanted.Our engagement session was shot in San Francisco and the locations were breath taking. All the shots looked natural and we were really comfortable during the photo shoot.Danny and Julia went above and beyond their time the day of our wedding. They were on time and ready to shoot at several locations early in the morning. They fit right in with the rest of the guests and captured some of the best moments.Their price is reasonable and we just LOVE LOVE LOVE their work! I would definitely recommend them!!!

Danny and his assistant are very patient and super-courteous and pay very close attention to detail. He keeps an open line of communication at all times throughout the planning process. Custom built a wedding package to meet my specific needs, and they were worth EVERY PENNY. My wedding day was PERFECT, and I have PERFECT memories to show for it all because of them!! I can't speak highly enough of Danny and Julia. We were impressed with them since our very first contact; they were prompt, professional, and friendly. They really seemed to care about us and our wedding a lot even before they were officially hired. We felt really comfortable giving them the job of our wedding and engagement photography, based on both their character (and work ethic) as well as their skills. And my gosh are their skills good. Danny will no doubt make it big in the industry. He's already pretty much there! His pictures are the best I've seen, even compared to more expensive photographers. We talked to Danny about our desire to work with him but that his prices were just a tad beyond what we had budgeted, and he basically gave us a price we could do. He's just that kind of guy- someone who recognizes the importance of capturing your Big Day in the best way possible as much as you do, not someone who is just out to make a buck.We had our engagement pictures done in September in San Francisco, and despite Danny's first-ever engagement shoot in the rain, he did a great job. We came away with awesome photos; my mom even cried when she saw them. Our wedding was in January in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara. Danny and Julia took amazing pictures of us, and captured some really sweet shots that I didn't even notice at the time (e.g. my dad watching me in the doorway as I'm getting ready). They went to great lengths to ensure we'd get good photos- they showed up at the rehearsal just to get familiar with the layout of the church, and when we all learned of the strict rules for photography in the church, Danny and Julia worked out a great plan that allowed us to get good shots while still respecting the rules of the church. Danny's imagination and insight is one of his greatest strengths. He sees opportunities for amazing shots that no one else does... you might think, "what is he thinking?"... until you get the photos back and see the ingenious photos he has captured! (e.g. he pulled us out of the reception quickly to take a few shots as it was getting dark out, and it didn't really seem like much until we saw the photo- the sky was a brilliant blue, the church sanctuary behind us was glowing, the limo was dazzling in the background, and these beautiful Christmas lights in the tree made the whole scene look magical- Danny's vision, and what we couldn't see and appreciate at first, clearly came out when the photos arrived. Simply stunning. My husband and I are so happy with the photos that we'll always look to Danny for any future events- pregnancy, family photos, etc. We're hooked :)

Dang! where do i start with this? Danny is simply AMAZING! my wife and I found Danny on the http://Knot.com website looking through photographers. After browsing through most of them, Danny's came up and it immediately caught my eyes. His use of color and lighting come out and smack you in the face! and you just want MORE! But in all seriousness, Danny is very professional, yet keeps you comfortable and candid during photo shoots. The first meet was very cool, as he showed off most of his work and offered albums and gallery warps for your engagement and wedding photos. Danny goes just about every where too! i thought when my wife and i came up with the idea of having our photo shoot at Disneyland, that the request might be too much. We were quickly comforted by Danny when he agreed, and thought it was a very unique idea, as he never shot a e-session at the theme park before, It was Great So to sum things up, Danny is an amazing photographer. The price is right, and you get all your photos on DVD and the gallery warps and albums are in the best quality i've seen any where...really!. I can't say enough great things about Danny!!! Danny was my wedding photographer in May 2009 and everything turned out so wonderful! He responds really quickly to emails and got our proofs and final photos to us in a timely manner� and our photos completely met our expectations. Danny is so great to work with because he�s willing to listen to your ideas and expectations. During the photo sessions, he allows you to pose in a way you feel comfortable and natural, but at the same time, he�ll give you guidance to ensure the photo comes out well. Danny did our wedding 3-28-09 and if there's one thing people are talking about the most ( other than how good I looked of course :-P ) ..is our pictures! He captured moments that i didn't even know were going on. He was so excited and so easy to work with it was amazing! I had just been in a wedding early in the month and the photographer was completely in everyones face..eugh hate that. He was able to get every romantic, funny, happy picture without it being uncomfortable. My husband cannot smile on command to save his life...he was able to capture him genuinely laughing and smiling without the "hurry up and take the picture" face. I cant do that lolHonestly he worked with our budget, he wanted to come to our rehearsal to scope out the place, and he delivered the most amazing photos on the best day of my life..no complaints and i will recommend him to any and every person who'll listen! :)

we found and talked to several photographers in the bay area, but ended up going with Danny because we liked his portfolio the best, and once we met him we found him to be super nice and easy to work with.Danny and his fiance/assistant Julia both came to the wedding (at the Presidio), and did a great job covering the ceremoney (we totally didn't even notice him shooting right next to us), family portraits, and candids at the reception. He even drove us to another spot that he picked out before the wedding for a location shot which we didn't expect and wasn't in the contract! All in all we got the sense that he loves what he's doing and is really good at it.(We should add that we liked his portfolio best because it's not too "bridal". If you're into the princessy stuff I'm sure he can do it, but so can tons of other photographers. I found Danny through a web site search. I called several vendors and Danny called me immediatelly. He was very attentive to my requests and details, made suggestions based on his experience, all in all great to talk to. Then I mentioned my budget and he said the magic words; not to worry with that, that he could customize something just for my wedding budget!When we finally me Danny, his demeanor showed a lot about his professional ethics. He showed us his work and was very patient explaining it all. We knew right away that we wanted Danny to be our photographer. At the "big Day" Danny was ponctual and very patient. I have known Danny's work for a long time and always hope that he can shoot our wedding photos. It came to true on my wedding day! Danny and Julia are very nice, professional and considerate. I really enjoyed having Danny as our wedding photographer, and he took a lot of great shots during the day. We had a backyard wedding, and he had fun being creative with the setting, which included a pool and terraced yards. He was great about keeping people organized and getting the family shots done in a timely manner so people could go enjoy the reception. Danny has great energy, and we have some memorable photos as a result.

Horrible experience, We don't recommend him to any one. First of all he does not have any location or office or any address to get a hold of him. He is horrible with returning the calls. you might find him very friendly at the beginning but after he gets paid, the whole new personality appears. Very bad customer service. Do not waste your money on him AT ALL.

We did our engagement photoshoot with Danny this month, and we were very impressed with his work.

His style and technique is very different from your regular wedding photographer.
We were extremely satisfied with the photos that came out. Danny is a professional and his work speaks for itself. Most of the raw images were flawless, and there was not a need for a lot of edits. We decided to go with Danny because we wanted something different from all the other couples.Everyone that has seen our photos has been impressed and wondered who our photographer was because the photos were beautiful.
We wanted modern, casual, and romantic and Danny definitely captured each frame in that way.
