My fiancé and I hired Dj Omead and Dashing events for our wedding on March 30th and we were extremely happy with how everything turned out. Dj O was very friend from our first meeting and through every email exchange we had. He was very responsive and helpful with everything. He provided DJ and MC services and had a percussionist with him for our wedding. His setup is very clean and he comes dressed very professional. The music was great and he mixed the different genres seamlessly. Our guests were very impressed. We also had Zaffe dancers (traditional Arabic dancers that walk in with you on your grand entrance and to say it was amazing would be a understatement. Our guests could not stop talking about the Zaffe and our entrance. All in all I would highly recommend Dashing events and Dj O, it was a pleasure dealing with him and majority of the time it was like working with a long time friend.

DJ was very professional and thanks to him the reception was awesome. He played music that kept people on the dance floor having a good time. He really knew how to please my guests and thanks to him our wedding was a success!! Absolutely recommend him!

Omead was amazing and did such a great job fusing my Latin culture and my husbands Persian culture with our American culture in music! He was so attentive and pleased the crowd the entire night!

DJ Omead made our wedding. In addition to his DJ services, we had up lighting, pin spots, a white dance floor and percussionist. I was planning my wedding from a different country and DJ O was so patient with me. I knew his skills were good by his work at weddings I had attended. Our guests didn't even want to leave the dance floor for dinner. Everyone at the wedding raved about how beautiful the lighting was and how great the music was. Definitely go with Dashing Events.

Wow. Dj O & The Drummer (Im sorry i forgot his name) played traditional persian wedding music and somehow mixed it with todays top 40, radio hip hop and merenge. We were definitely pleasantly surprised. The crowd danced from 7:30 until 12am without stopping unless to eat for an hour!! The wedding was over by 12:30!! We've never seen anything like it and we know how to party...Thanks Omead jan you were a great find and we will never forget it.

Since day one, we had Lighting decor as one of the top 5 priorities in our wedding planning. After reviewing multiple vendor reviews and meeting with multiple vendors in regards to this service, I found Dashing Events. I emailed the info email address and received a response within 24 hours. I work for a large enterprise in which I manage multiple vendors so the fact that Dashing Events was very professional, detailed and prompt to my inquiry was a good way to get started. I exchanged about 50+ emails with Omead and not once did he ever make me have any doubts. In fact his organization is out of Tarzana and I live in Long Beach, and although I met with numerous vendors before, because I had confidence in his work ethics I not once ever even decided to meet up with him to make sure he was real. Through the planning I sent him many emails to which he replied to every single one of them and provided additional feedback to help us with what we were looking for. The day of the event the lighting was one of the top highlights that our guests were talking about. I LOVED the mood that was set by this and truly recommend him to all others planning a wedding. Dashing Events was worth every penny and his staff was tremendously helpful AND professional. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!

And now to the review! Omead and his team were awesome. Highly professional, open minded, provided ideas, definitely worked within my budget, and the music was AMAZING - american latin fusion vibes!!!! He went the extra mile when things changed last minute (the room doubled in size....needed twice the amount of lights, sound). He's definitely about making your event special and something memorable. He's down to earth, organized, engages the audience, and makes YOU happy. He will work with your budget, schedule, likes, dislikes - I can definitely vouche for Omead and his team.

DJ O is definitely a phenomenal DJ. He was extremely friendly and professional with amazing quality. The music was perfect, very diverse and went perfectly with what the guests wanted to hear! My husband and I are so grateful to have had him as our DJ! The lighting was BETTER than I thought! I was emailing him back and forth for 7 months about anything and everything regarding the wedding, and I would always receive a response by the next day, if not right away! I never had to hesitate about anything and always trusted his judgement. Not only that, he made sure to call me again a couple days before my wedding to make sure things were coordinated perfectly and made sure to pick out the perfect cake cutting songs, bouquet toss songs etc etc. Not only that, I kept changing my mind about what I wanted included in my package and every time the only answer I would get would be "Of course, is there anything else I can do for you two?" I definitely recommend any couple using him!

We chose Dashing Events for our wedding reception based on the good online reviews and a positive impression we got meeting with DJ Omead for the first time. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our event.  In addition to being extremely professional and experienced, Omead is friendly and very accommodating. He patiently worked with us to create a playlist that fit a wide group of guests of different ages and ethnicities. Their online tool was quite useful with picking the right songs for the right moment. Overall, Dashings events was one of the main factors that made our event successful and memorable. Highly recommended!

DJ Omead was wonderful! He's super friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. He responded to our e-mails and phone calls promptly which was crucial for us since we had never met before our wedding. It was important to us to have an eclectic mix of music for our Iranian-Romanian wedding and DJ Omead did not disappoint. He played a great variety of music and had an innate sense of how to transition the energy of the evening. He has a great speaking voice as well so not only did he DJ but MCed as well. DJ Omead was amazing for our wedding. He was very nice and cooperative with exactly what we wanted in terms of music and songs played. We were allowed to upload all the songs we wanted on a dropbox and he literally played exactly what we wanted with such a smooth transition. He made our night beautiful and perfect and I recommend him for any wedding. We had an Egyptian wedding, but a lot of English songs too. So to all Egyptians out there, Omead is the DJ to go for, awesome arabic/english music selection. On the Dashing events website there is a timeline where you can organize your wedding. I used this timeline for pretty much everything, for the photographer and the videographer, they make it so easy. I am very pleased with their service. Go Omead :)

DJ Maha and MC Fernando were present at the wedding and DJ Omead was the contractor. They were all very experienced and understood what we wanted, especially that we had a Middle Easter/Egyptian wedding with a European, western taste

DJ Omead is awesome! He was very easy to work with during the planning stages of our wedding- he even helped our mothers put together a last minute slideshow the week before the wedding! He was very patient and his prices are very reasonable! The day of our wedding he was just outstanding- he had everyone on the dance floor and MC'd the entire event without a hitch. BEST DJ experience EVER! DJ Omead of Dashing Events is truly a professional. He has an online database and creates a login for each of his clients, who then sign in to make a list of all their song requests, do-not-play song requests, and special songs that accompany your wedding timeline. He called us a week before the wedding to review every detail and even make sure he had all the name pronunciations correct!

The day of the wedding he was on-time, organized, and followed every request we had made. He is very well-rounded in terms of music selections and can play just about anything you want. He accommodated our music preferences perfectly, since wanted a good mix of modern, Persian, Salsa, jazz, Arabic, and Indian. He played it all, and all our guests love him. Guests of all ages never left the dance floor. Their prices are very reasonable, and DJ Omead is so friendly, kind and patient! You won't regret booking with Dashing Events!

I found DJO through my wedding planner. Our first initial appointment was in person and as soon as I met with him I could tell he was a very professional person. He explained his services and we came up with a game plan for the wedding. The rest was easy; DJO has a website that you can use to select the music for your wedding and update it anytime you want. He truly did an amazing job setting the sound system at the venue and also the selection of music was great. Nobody left the dance floor; he played a great selection of old music, Top 40 and fit in our requested songs really well. He truly did an amazing job. I would 100% recommend DJO.

DJ O with Dashing Events did a phenomenal job at our wedding! Whether guests were excited to hum along to a familiar tune during dinner or get up and dance, dance, dance, people were commenting on the fabulous music all night! Before the wedding, DJO was in touch, quick to respond, and very attentive to all the details of our reception timeline. He worked really well with me, my wedding coordinator, and our venue vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and that we had a flawless reception wher music and MCing was concerned. He was great about asking questions and making sure that he knew what kind of crowd to expect beforehand, and true to his word, we had the old, the young, my husband's Lebanese family and my Anglo-European family out on the dance floor alike - dancing till they couldn't dance anymore! My husband and I requested MANY specific songs that were not what you would really consider "traditional" reception songs and DJ O made sure to find and play them all! We also had a belly dancing performance arranged through Dashing Events and it was a HUGE hit! DJ O was exactly what we needed to bring together two very different cultures and keep a six-hour reception fun and lively till the end. I can't recommend him enough!

In May of 2012, Omead DJ'd our Persian/American wedding.
During the ceremony his transitions were seamless. He rocked the reception! He kept the crowd excited and interested without being overbearing. The mix of music he chose was fantastic...everyone had great time!

My husband and I were married a couple of months ago and I am still getting compliments as to how great my DJ/MC was! DJO really livened up the party, not to mention his on-point MC skills - he knew just when to announce and made sure everyone was having a good time by playing to the crowd! Looking back at our photos and videos, it is proven that people were up and dancing the entire wedding - which as a bride, is great! It really showed how much everybody enjoyed our wedding, and much of this credit is given to DJO! He is wonderful to work with and very professional! I have been to my share of weddings and the entertainment is so important. With that said, DJO's experience and skills in this field cannot be matched! We hired Dashing Events to provide our lighting and dance floor - and they did a fantastic job! Communication with Omead was usually quick and simple. The special lighting created a romantic and pleasant ambiance at our reception; and the dance floor was just the right size. I can very sincerely say from the bottom of my heart that choosing DJO for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made, and we literally could not have asked or imagined a better DJ. Omead was wonderful!! My husband found him online, and when I met with him, I really liked his personality and ability to relate with different cultures.

I sent Omead a music timeline with all the particular songs/music I wanted for each moment in our wedding, and he executed it perfectly. For the reception, he was able to read the crowd and determine what songs to play at what time and the dancing didn't stop the entire night! I barely sat down myself, because my husband and I were dancing the entire night away with the rest of our family and friends. He was really great. And he also adhered to my Do Not Play list - I would have hated it if YMCA came on in the middle of the night.

Aside from an excellent ear for music, Omead also did a wonderful job in setting up our lighting and taking care of the audio set-up for the cocktail hour, as well as putting on a great wedding slideshow! He was so personable, the guests loved him, my mom couldn't stop talking about how attentive to detail he was and just what a nice young man he was, and am thrilled that he was our DJ for the wedding.

We had a Persian/American wedding and DJO was about as good as we could have hoped for. Having a good DJ experience is not only about the DJ - it is in communicating well your needs with the DJ. DJO did a good job of asking the right questions to us so we could communicate with him what we wanted. The wedding day music can be detailed and surprisingly complex - DJO really made a difference by being proactive with us to make sure we got what we wanted. For us, he was able to bridge the gap nicely between the Persian and American cultures and play music that appealed to everyone. He even had some nice 1920's swing music for my grandfather when we asked for it! There were a number of others things to note: the website interface helped us immensely to organize our thoughts and allow others to recommend music they wanted to hear. DJO listened to our needs and was also flexible throughout the evening when we wanted to change things up. I liked that he was able to adapt to the crowd and keep people on the dance floor throughout the night (yes, it was a Persian wedding but the floor was jammed all night). As an MC, he was firm and confident and struck the right tone for the occasion. We used his Spanish guitarist for the appetizer hour and the live percussionist during the reception (who really added some good energy to the room). We received rave reviews from both. We very much enjoyed DJO and his hard work and organization. In fact, our good friends are using him for their wedding now too. Highly recommended!

DJO did an amazing job at discovering the needs and wants for our wedding. He kept in touch throughout and up until the wedding day, and delivered on what we all had planned together for the day of. Everyone had a GREAT time and we received lots of compliments on our DJ :) I was told by one of our guests that she thought he did a wonderful job at pleasing the entire crowd being that we had different ages ranges, and a mixed-cultural wedding. I think he was exceptionally good at reading the guests, being very professional, and definitely added to the fun! I would recommend DJO to anyone having any kind of party.

DJ O did a great job at my Iranian-Arab-American Wedding. I am an Iranian who married a Palestinian, but both growing up in the States, he had 3 major ethnic groups to appeal to, and I feel like he did that very well. He had a great mix of Persian, Arabic and American music, keeping us entertained and dancing without the cheesy songs we didn't want. I didn't leave the dance floor all night!

Was a great hit at our wedding. His assist and him set up at our venue (the Adamson House) which is not an easy place to set up due to the fact everything is outside in garden settings. The quality of the music and microphone was great! DJO even set up light polls and matched our color scheme of our wedding without any problems. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone I can!!!

DJ Omead was awesome to work with. He was easy to communicate with during the planning process. He played all of the songs we requested for the ceremonial portion of the reception (first dance, father/bride dance, cake cutting, grand entrance and last dance). My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the reception and our guests had a blast on the dance floor.

He even has a lighting and dance floor rental service! Definitely worth every penny.

Coming from different backgrounds (white & Persian), it was really important for us to find a DJ that could get everyone on the dance floor. We interviewed a couple of DJ's in Vancouver (Canada) but we weren't satisfied with their work until we found out about DJO through a friend who lives in Los Angeles. We decided to go with him because we liked his previous work and heard good things about him. We didn't actually meet him in person until the day of the wedding but with his great communication and friendly e-mails we already felt like we knew him. He did a great job mixing the songs at the right times and keeping everyone on the dance floor. We have got so many good comments from our guests about how amazing he was. He was very well prepared and played only the types of music that we had asked for. We would highly recommend DJO for anyone who's looking for a fun, friendly and professional DJ!

DJO is amazing. He recently performed at my cousins event and a few weeks later at my Wedding. I had families from 2 different backgrounds and he managed to do a great mix entertaining both type of crowds. My family tends to get carried away once the drinking starts and he tried to keep everyone wedding focused. DJ O was easy to work with and delivered beyond our expectation. He included all our requested artists and songs, and the array and going back and forth between songs geared more towards our Persian guests and songs more for our non-Persian/American guests was flawless and perfectly-timed. He was very in-tune and perceptive with the flow of things. O is also very responsive before your event with emails, which is the only way I contacted him other than our face-to-face initial meeting. I would highly recommend him not only for Persians, but couples with one person who is non-Persian especially if you want to have someone knowledgeable and experienced with Persian and other music, of which we incorporated jazz, hip-hop, and current top 40 music among others. His MC'ing was also spot-on- so O was perfect for us, and we highly recommend him. We only wish we could have used his uplights if we had more room in our budget- check out his website pictures- they have a gorgeous effect in pictures. I especially love the vanilla/raspberry combo.

I would not think twice about hiring DJ O for my wedding. He did an above and beyond job at our wedding this weekend with 300 people attending and I have nothing but praise for him. First off during the ceremony he played every song at the perfect time as our wedding party of 40 walked down the aisle. Then when we walked into the reception hall DJ O actually came out and lined us up making our entrance clean, professional, fun and energetic. He played exactly the type of music I requested and at the perfect time for the occasion. We danced all night thanks to DJ O!

DJ O also did all our lighting and made us a fantastic GOBO with our names up on the wall to jazz things up. The lighting was flawlessly positioned and was the least expensive way for us to make our wedding really special.

We trusted him with a lot that night and he fulfilled every detail of his contract and then some!

From handling a last-minute AV request for our chapel to setting up a beautiful scene with their lights at our cocktail and dinner venue, not a thing went wrong. related to having fun and celebrating. From lighting and sound to
DJ'ing and MC'ing, he is completely organized and professional; he

preferences and personality. You will no longer have to worry about
anything related to your event (except for the un-fun and
non-celebratory parts, if any!) and you are guaranteed to have a

He did not put any business cards on the tables for our wedding, and we were completely satisfied with his attire.

DJ O entertained our wedding on August 1, 2010. He did a fantastic job and we have absolutely nothing negative to say about him. Many of our guests complimented his song choices and even some of our bridal party commented on how great he was throughout the wedding. Everyone had a great time. Many people asked us for his contact information, which we thought was a great evaluation of his work. He was very professional. He was punctual and organized. We never had to worry once about what he was doing, which is an amazing thing to be able to say during such a hectic time. He was always a few steps ahead of us. He ensured that the event flowed smoothly. His announcements were confident and welcoming. Overall, he was very friendly and outgoing. He was also able to adapt easily and effortlessly with changes in events. We appreciate the fact that he incorporated our bridal party into the grand entrance, coordinated the entrance for everyone, and was able to help us choose a song last minute. His lights and equipment were also high quality. We would highly recommend him!

I am postiing a review here even though our party was a corporate holiday party because when my husband and I renew our vows, we will definitely use DJO Ent. and Omead. I have to say most corp parties are dull, but I am a perfectionist hostess and I want people to really enjoy. I have always used a live band, but last year decided to use a DJ I was nervous because Omead was not a referral, I just found him online. I grilled him like an onion. OMG! He was great. Everyone at one time or another commented it was the best party we ever had (and all of our parties have been great) and it was one of the best they had ever been to much of which was credited to Omead. I cannot recommend him enough. Great music, great style, GREAT DJ. We got him again this year! YEA! Thanks, Omead...

DJO was the DJ for our wedding and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great DJ who knows how to get the party started. Not only did he keep the tempo going throughout the wedding but also was very responsive and flexible when it came to our requests. He is extremely professional, organized and on top of his game. And what sets DJO apart from most DJs is that he doesn't need to be the center of attention. He recognizes that he's there to get the party started and moving. He talked when appropriate but didn't over do it. Also, he's got all the songs you'll ever think of. Lastly, our wedding was a multi-ethnic/multi-national wedding and I think he did a really great job of getting everyone involved across all ages as well as different musical tastes. He had a great sense of reading the audience and providing the tunes for them to get down to.

We wanted a DJ who had a good sense of culture and music. His selection of Persian and Western music complimented the style and theme of our wedding and everyone was on their feet dancing and happy. Even the elder guests! There was a lag in the ceremony music and some delays during the hors d'ouerves hour however during the reception and dancing he did great. He had asked us to fill out a playlist 2 wks prior to the wedding at different intervals of the wedding. He was not dressed appropriately for a wedding and he did have his assistant place business cards on the tables. Luckily my fiance (now-husband) noticed that and was able to get them cleared off the tables. These are the two main areas that I would fault him for. We all did enjoy the music thought. The reception and dancing was a hit! And even our guests made a point to say so:) I would recommend DJ Omead for any event however I would make sure the two above points are addressed.

He also provided the lightening. It was beautiful. His prices were reasonable and he really has a good eye for color and location.

DJ O was awesome! He really added that extra spark to our wedding. We had a blast and so did our guests!
